So I have some questions for my fellow FC members. When I am using my water pipe I have some issues.
1. I get a dark spot usually on my first hit at about 12, this is with putting it on max till its hot then putting it back down to 12. Last night I only put it on max for about 3 mins then put it down to about 11. I packed my adapter about 1/4 or less and I got tasty hits and some nice clouds without the burn, it burnt a little later but it wasn't just a spot just a normal ABV browning. So today I do the same thing I put it on max for 3 mins and put it down to 11 after, I left it there a little longer so maybe it got a tad hotter. I packed the adapter about halfway full and it wasn't getting that spot so I continued vaping. I turned it to 12 and what do you know I got the spot.

2. Besides the dark spot I usually get I can't ever get even ABV when using this. Last night when I had success on 11 it got pretty evenly done.

3. I usually don't get as fat as rips as with the transfer wand and when I do it gets the dark spot. I rarely get that one big dark spot in my shorty wand.. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I've tried slow-medium- fast steady draws. I seem to get a lot better efficiency out of my wand.

I know I'm missing some stuff so I'll prolly have to edit but heres some pictures...

Thats one hit at 12 with it warmed up on max till I thought it was hot enough(roughly 5-8 mins)

I had same issue with my dbv, play with your pack and draw speed both. I was packing it down too tight and/or drawing too slow, I'd get a very dark spot with fresh green outside

^^ And that's one of the advantages of using their WPA that mates with the spherical joint on the glass heater cover of the LSV. It allows you to rotate the vape for a more even burn.

Yeah I was thinking of that, I read so many people on here had no issues with the adapter and some even liked it over the WPA.

Like lwien was saying I too have noticed a more even darker burn compared to the 7th floor wpa. Personally I like the 7th floor wpa over the male to male because of the flavor and the ability to roast different areas of the bowl instead of the same spot .
All this lsv talk is making me think its time to break out the saber. Haven't used it in weeks. Happy holidaze everyone :D

I'm trying so hard to not order the WPA.. But I guess I may have too. Damn.

What do you guys do for heat up times? Do you go to your sweet spot then wait or do you max it then dial it down?

I turn it on to my spot and prepare the bowl...it's usually ready to go when I am

I wonder if the heat up times make a big difference in my vaping.

EDIT: I'm packing smaller amounts in my adapter(about 1/6) and I'm keeping it around 10:30-12:00, so far so good. I believe I have a hotter LSV because my heating element says STD-100- without any changes. I can see about 3/4 of the dash after the 100 and I think most people on here said they can see 100 only?

I've found after the repair to my LSV it heats up a lot quicker so I can no longer leave it on for extended sessions like I used to. Even on the lowest setting I'm getting pretty hot vapor. I've got the 220v version so element says STD-220, can only see up to STD-22.
It gets real hot after being left on, even the bottom. It's an all black unit so that could effect the heat dispersion.I've just been having short sessions where I let it heat up for 2-3min then turn it off when I'm done.

I use a straight 18mm male without a flair in the middle like yours, but I don't have a proper screen for it so I just use an EQ screen that fits in the top, I get a browning similar to your pics but if I leave my LSV on for 10+ minutes I will almost always combust with the 18mm male but never the transfer wand.

Seems to be a drawback to using an 18mm male adapter, try give it a stir and hit it a few more times to get an even colour. Unfortunately I just broke my WPA the other day so I've had to use my 18mm and transfer wand quite frequently. I was just starting to enjoy my WPA too, was getting nice vapor from the extra heat and it was distributed more evenly.

I can see clearly now the smoke is gone...
Yeah, I'm lazy so I just use the 18x18 and ignore the dark spot. I never stir till the end and sometimes not at all. I realize it's a tradeoff to flavor, but i want my sessions to be as chill as possible.

Hey guys new here and just needing some advice if you guys have the info.
Would you prefer the LSV or Da Buddha? Everyday use...2 people. Taste of vapor and efficiency matter most to me. I do have a glass to use the LSV with. I had a Arizer V Tower and its just time to move on. I've heard alot of good things about the Da Buddha as well so just curious as to you guys input. Appreciate it

Basically depends if you'll be using it with water tools most of tha time or not.. If you will mostly use water tools, get a lsv. If you rather use a whip or direct draw, get a da buddah.

They are both extremely efficient. Along with any log vape. I use water once in a while, but its not for me, simply because i like tha full flavor. I recently bought a lsv wand for my da Buddha and im loving this setup.

I definitely want the most flavorful hit so if Da Buddha gives that i may lean towards that. Yeah I agree with the efficiency of every vape. When I got my V tower I went from usually a gram or so a day of top shelf to .5 so im alright with that!

Lsv ssv and dbv are all tha same exact guys, different bodies. I only got a da Buddha because i rarely use water and dont need it to be hand held. I like using my whip, but now that i have a lsv transfer wand, its even more flavorful..

Ok thanks for the help. Figured they were all close to the same since they're 7th floor products but wasn't 100%. So you would say the efficiency is the same as well? Think I may go with the DBV. Does the LSV wand make it all glass?

I would say efficiency depends on heater cover but someone jump in if im wrong? And yes lsv wand makes it all glass :) and when i got my lsv wand, i said to myself out loud "that's one beautiful piece of glass"

Taste overall will be better with the LSV standard because it comes with the glass transfer wand. Normally with the buddha you inhale through a whip which degrades taste, and IMO is annoying

Awesome guys appreciate it. Does the LSV come with the adapter to use with glass or is that an extra purchase? Sorry guys sounds retarded...just a couple grams deep into this Skywalker lol

Yeah mine gets fairly hot as well, I'm trying to not go past 12 now with the wand or adapter. I just used an LSV screen, I had a screen in the "flair" but I put it up more because it made bud not fall through. I still feel like I get higher with the wand..
