Are you putting the wand in a 18mm? I was actually contemplating doing this as I ordered the shorty .

Yeah, I use an 18mm to 14mm downstem (similar to this one) so it fits in their nice without being too tight. Might depend a lot on the shape of your wand mouthpiece and your glass joints on whether you'll get the same results I'm getting.

Go for it man! The shorty wand seems like it'd be a lot more effective, I have one on the way as well as a new short WPA after an unfortunate accident last week.

I've been using my long transfer wand in place of the WPA, it fits into my downstem with a nice seal and milks up my piece while getting a real even browning after multiple hits. I'm hoping my new shorty wand has a similar mouth piece so I can use it in the same way, sort of like a larger 18m male adapter but with a bit more airflow. If you guys have a piece that can support it and enjoy the rush of huge clouds, give it a try. It's a little awkward at first but I find it increases the efficiency of the vape by a lot. I've never hit a cloud but I feel like it'd feel pretty similar to this, I get facial sweating after each hit. :o

Just tried this with my shorty wand, doesn't fit directly with it but if I put it down a few inches it works. Too awkward for me though. I did get a nice rip though.

So this morning at work I was bored so I went to the lsv official website to see it a bit, then I was thinking "let's fill out the form and see how much it would cost (with shipping) and what are the options" so I fill out everything including credit card number and everything and I was just standing there with the "complete order" button watching at me yelling "press me, press me"... well considering I got some money for Christmas I said screw it, why not, and ended up ordering a lsv :D

Now I have buyers jitters :uhoh:

I ordered my first vape, a solo, 1 month ago and I've been using it daily since but I really wanted a harder hitting vape for home use as the solo sessions last around 30 min with the pvhes...

Now I've ordered the LSV but I still have a few questions. How does the herb chamber of the solo compare to the lsv? How much more herbs can I vape in the lsv compared to the solo?
How long does a lsv session last?

I really hope I made a good decision as I wont be buying any more vapes in the near future for sure.

3. Pretty much as long or as short as you want it too.

Let me rephrase that.
What is the minimum amount of time required to extract the quantity comparable to 2-3 solo stems (can you fit 3 solo stems in the LSV wand?) as that's the amount I usually vape?
Or let me put it this way, can you extract 0,5g in 5-10 min?

The lsv wasn't even shipped yet and I'm already counting days till it arrives :D

Received the shorty wand and it's safe to say the wand has brought my lsv and me closer together .
The wand fits snug in all of my 18mm pieces including the mobius ion. I barely covered the screen and got thick thick rips of delicious tasting vapor.
I got a coupon code for 20% off on all 7th floor sites with the wand but the line where the code is supposed to be written is blank..

Hi guys!

First post here. Been lurking for about a month. You guys got me into vapebonging! Love it.

I have had a Da buddah for about a year. Looking to upgrade to LSV because im tired of the whip. It looks as though the LSV is much better for using water pipes with. Just a few questions.

What are the cons ?
Is the going price about 200 for this? Any good deals out there?

Thanks for all the good info!

The cons ?
You may love this vaporizer so much you might start using more material !
200-230 and up depending on what accessories you want
I personally would recommend directly from their site why not support the very people who create this vapor producing machine!!!!
Switching from tube to all glass you should notice a tastier vapor experience.

Help me out here fc I need those who know a bit about the inner workings of the lsv. I've noticed after turning on the lsv that when I move the cord a certain way it turns off immediately. This only happens in a certain position but now it seems to be happening more often. I'm thinking something may be loose inside ? I've been tempted to open the bottom but I wanted some advice before doing so

Sounds like a short or lose connection, this was an issue with the older models until the cord strain relief thing was added. It is by accounts iI have read say it's user serviceable but sending it back for a simple repair is also an option. There are quite a few mentions of it already in this thread if you search.

FYI! I love the LSV but if you are shorting with cord strain relief read this and E-mail Chris at 7th Floor IMMEDIATELY.

My LSV with cord strain relief was shorting intermittently, I would hold the cord in the right position and still use it because fuck it. The thing eventually shot a fucking lightening bolt out the side of the bent/shorting part of the cable, straight to the unit/cor strain part, and almost shocked the fuck outa me. It scared me real good, and left a smell of melted cord and fear piss in my room. Do not use if shorting on the regs, you may not live to regret it.

Again, I LOVE THE LSV, and still use my repaired one EVERY day (mad props to 7th floor and Chris for service) but for real don't risk your bodies electrical systems, just get it fixed.

What is the best way to hit oil, butter or kief? and how would that process go?

load a smaaaall bed of ground buds (a tenth to a fifth of a gram) make sure its packed down so it reasonably covers the entire screen. Then just put whatever concentrate you want on top. Break up the concentrate and let it sit loosely on the bed of bud. Works better at very high temps in my opinion, gets it all in a few hits. You will lose some small amounts of more liquidy oils to runoff (you can scrape it off the glass if its easy to reclaim.) I try to use mostly shatter or bubble because it produces like, 8 ridiculously thick clouds, then its done quick.

Disclaimer - This is an opinion piece.

I have the cord strain relief on mine..

I had the same issue, I think it resulted from moving the LSV around too much and when I'd pick it up/turn it the cord would twist inside, resulting in it shorting unless I wiggled it into the right position. I'd email 7th floor and get a repair set up, you'll likely have to pay shipping costs but it's better than being possibly electrocuted.

My repaired LSV works really good now, the cord feels a lot more secure.

Just remember when you're using it to set it down/unravel the cord in the same way, so you're not constantly twisting it inside.

So I'm gonna get a 7th floor vape for sure. I'm leaning more towards the LSV, however I don't plan on using it with any water pieces (yet). Would this be a better investment over Da Buddha or SSV?

I'm on the Bias side!

The other vaporizer are awesome however for water path the LSV will kick your A@@!

The long glass wand that comes with the LSV is really nice.
I love this thing!
With water the LSV is all time!

I was in the same boat as you. I can't speak for the other units but I personally went with the lsv and I have not regretted it. I made that decision because of the all glass path and the overall simplicity. I am sure the plastic whip is perfectly safe but I thought that the glass seemed like a safer and smoother option. I only occasionally use it with water pieces but it's nice to have that option. Again, I don't have personal experience with the other 7th floor products but the lsv is really solid.

Not sure if this is against rules but delete this post if it is mods, I was wondering if any of you LSV'ers would be interested in a tinychat/webcam session with our LSV's. I'm sure some people don't want to show their face which is understandable, it would just be sorta cool to chat and vape with some others that have this vape. I've never met anyone with it. If no one wants too its cool. Just an idea I thought of. Enjoy your vaping otherwise!
