Charring means it is to hot, it happens at the end, at first tastes great but the end is when it starts to happen.

Back in the Launch Tube days (before the MFLB), the Magic Flight folks split this into four groups with some interesting discussions like this:

They agree, this is a long way from burned, and on a slope not easy to control or to get all users to even agree on.

Charring at 383 isn't that good, unless you turned it up above 400 before hand.

If the rod in the center is the exposed ceramic heater, that would certainly explain the hotspots...

7.4v 2x18350 - 700 mah IMR

15 minute run time 400F before lcd black out. Then restarted and all worked fine.

Mouth piece not warm at all, button slightly warm but still ok to touch.

and 700mah * 60minutes = 42,000ma-minutes divided by 15 minutes is 2,800ma = 2.8 amps

7.4v * 2.8a= 20 watts

So it should be about the same as hitting two mflb's simultaneously, very nice!

Ok its off again. this time we shut it down.

yes because both temps are charring the bud a bit, meaning higher temps actually.

This is for THC Scientific. And sorry if all this info has been extensively covered before, but I don't have the patience to sift through zillions of threads. Right now no one I know in the Portland, OR area is selling the Omnicron, though one club might be getting it at some future date. Meanwhile, the local canna club I frequent carries the following concentrates: butane oil, scissor hash, bubble hash, keef, 911 honey oil and ear wax. Which, or any, of these will work in an Omnicron and which model, carts, etc. will work best with these? Would I have to obtain special devices to get the material into the carts, etc....and just how much of a hassle/project is it to fill the carts? In my ideal world, I would be able to obtain pre-filled carts, but that may not be possible here for quite a while. The easier the system, the more likely I am to obtain it and use it. One reason I love my MFLB is the incredible ease of use...and lack of hassle with upkeep. Thanks for your input!
Oh, and while Portland may not have the same kind of dispensary system I was used to in SoCal, it has a number of canna clubs that would make an excellent market for items such as Omnicron.
