One of the features was supposed to be an adjustable condenser. The video showed a condenser with indentations on the condenser exterior that were designed to move over notches inside the mouthpiece for the adjustment. I have an Omni and the condenser adjusts depth by threads and rotating the mouthpiece. I see no way to adjust this new one. George was raving about how simple the new adjustment was. The condenser I received does not look like the one George used in the video. Need to double check the date on that video. I have a bunch of DV stuff and this is only 2nd time I've had a question or issue.

Yeah, it does adjust. I believe the tube with the lines is the Hyperdyne condenser. The M7XL's is smooth and it adjusts, too, but the indentations are inside the mouthpiece I believe. If you try to shove that notched end into the top of the MP, where is goes into the stem, it should click into place in several different depths. Same exact concept as you saw, just a slightly different implementation.

Let me go back and locate the video I mentioned. I am pretty sure is was M7XL specific.

Think you are right!! I looked at video again and think I got confused between this one and Hyperdyn. Those notches are there for a reason and video shows mouthpiece being rotated. Let me watch that more closely. Really appreciate your input. I come here to get straightened out! HaHa....

Really, really loving this SS M7 tip / Armored Cap / Wand combo lately. Big tasty hits, forgiving on reheats, and awesome for outdoors. Super easy to get a deep, thorough roast without going too far. The looseness of the Armored Cap still bothers me though. I burned myself recently because it fell off after being dislodged by catching it on the side of the Wand while pulling it out right after heating.

Guys, is it worth waiting for discounts on dynavap.com d Father's Day ? I'm not from the USA myself, and I don't know how significant this holiday is or if there might be sales on this day.

Father’s Day is over already. I’d bet 4th of July would have some sort of sale? Wait a few weeks and see. I’d say it’s worth if buying a device or a bundle

They may also have concentrate-related packages & caps for 7/10.
ah the Hash holiday

I know Dynavap isn't as big w the concentrate crowd, i mean they do have the Dynacoil but don't see many reviews or mentions on here at all. For what its worth & i put my input in this thread about the Vapor Genie concentrate pad. https://fuckcombustion.com/threads/...nie-concentrate-pad.56345/page-2#post-1850546 I filed down one the spare pads so it would fit in my M7. It worked flawlessly in the M7 I can report. it leaves no mess in your device especially really runny concentrates , easy to load (just remove cap),

The pad can be easily torched off after use. I had been thinking about this more after my first few trial sessions. It was a real PITA to get it to get the larger pads fit so buying them would be key. I hope Vapor Genie would make a smaller 8 mm size for all Dyna, Vaphit etc users. But conceivably you could have a few of these pre-loaded pads and go off with just your Dyna , tiny torch and these pads and doing concentrates sesh anywhere you bring your Dyna. I call that a win especially if they can stay at that $15 for 4 price point.

The pads are very porous and ensure all material stay on the pad and not mess things up w stray concentrate material. and for the most important part it tastes quite good. Not like off a quartz banger level but more than acceptable for the convenience.

Tempting. I kinda wish it had the waist all the way around but it's weirdly stunning anyhow. Pricey but it is essentially a non-eclipsing but-still-adjustable Vong. Plus I think it's the first real shorty they've made in years.

For the record, I've got a Dynacoil and think it's great. I heat it with the Forge and can get very nice hits out of very small dabs without having to swab / clean every time. I haven't tried it with the Wand yet, and I've found it a little tricky to hit the right temp with a torch, at least on the first hit.

Sorry, I’m terrible at searching for things on here. Can somebody tell me what temperature you set the spire wand at with an armored cap?

I am sure you are right but after watching George again he mentions a notched feeling with the condenser adjustment and I get no sense of that with mine? I've got to take it apart and examine more closely to see how it works. Thanks again for your help!!

I've got to try this? I have the Wand and also the Flare which i have never tried with the armored cap.

The three ‘ears’ on the condenser need to be gently bent outwards. You can use a tip as the tool by inserting each ear all the way into the tip and then bending them out slightly until you can feel the notches.

On my confusion about the M7XL condenser adjustment? Just took it apart and examined more closely? I can't see inside the MP well enough but it is subtle and a bit loose but the condenser has definite detents for adjustment. I wanted near max airflow so I adjusted accordingly. Will see how well the adjustment holds. If I ever get a response from Dynavap I will pose the looseness question to them.

Excellent tip! Thanks!!
