I wonder if someone could help me out please! My TM is currently loaned to a friend and I want to know how much stem is inserted into the chamber please? In other words, the length of the chamber from bottom to the top of the tightening ring. Thanks in advance.
Thanks man, I could really do with an accurate measurement though, preferably in mm if at all possible.Should be about an inch
my cheap calipers being operated by an untrained and highly medicated hand says 30.70mmThanks man, I could really do with an accurate measurement though, preferably in mm if at all possible.![]()
Absolutely perfect! Thanks very much mate.my cheap calipers being operated by an untrained and highly medicated hand says 30.70mm
edited to add that this is a walnut tm2 purchased around 4/20 of this year with the factory ring finger tight.
Measured with my caliper depth stop. From the boss at the bottom of the oven sleeve (the stem stop) to the top of the adjustment ring is 31 mm.I wonder if someone could help me out please! Absolutely man. Thanks for your assistance.Keep in mind that the adjustment ring may vary
Good to see you’re getting TM2. About the caps that’s a personal choice some people like them for easy loading when out and about, others like they run cleaner than without. I used to be a big cap user, but my ability to load them has become difficult due my digits and now only use them only for hash. They work ok for herb with TM2 with slightly more conduction effect and the load is used up quicker. I prefer the non-capped TM2 herb load and don’t think they are a necessity for the TM2 unless you’re using hash or hash/herb mix.The time has come for me to finally order a Tinymight 2. Will be doing so in the next couple of weeks. I just cannot decide if I get dosing capsules as well with my order. Not sure if I will really need them or not.
There are rumors of an all black edition coming out soon, so you might wanna pump the brakes on grabbing a TM2 monetarily. The time has come for me to finally order a Tinymight 2. Which will also incorporate as yet unnamed “functional upgrades,” which, if past practice holds true, will only be available in the all black model. There are rumors of an all black edition coming out soon, so you might wanna pump the brakes on grabbing a TM2 monetarily.
When you all clean your mouthpiece are you tossing it all in ISO? Doesn’t the cooling unit have gaskets on it? And are those safe for ISO? If not, how are you all cleaning the gasket? I was under the impression it could be dropped in ISO.
Or get some 3mm boro, quartz, whatever balls and load them in your stem between two basket screens! Quick and easy aftermarket stem right thereGet alternative aftermarket stems instead

When I was using the stock setup I would always clean the o rings in the same way as the rest of the stem. You sometimes see them stretch or deform if they soak for hours, but when they dry off properly they return to normal shape IME.When you all clean your mouthpiece are you tossing it all in ISO?
You don't really to add screens. The 2 hollow parts of the CU with the open bottoms facing each other and the empty space filled with whatever size balls/pillars etc.I find that tedious with extra screens though
I like to disassemble because I find that there's still some residue on the balls and CU walls if you just soak the whole thing. If you go with balls and screens if you make sure the screens are well formed and fit tightly you can soak the lot without disassembling.
Actually, I was... but only in my own mind. I'd become more and more convinced that something was amiss with my power button, even as I became more careful and attentive as to how I activated it. Figured it had to be 'me'.You folks may be way ahead of me on this,

Will reach out to TM support and see how they want to work out the logistics. Would be pleased as punch if they would mail out a user-installable kit, saving the need to send the thing across the ocean (or, across the Chattahoochee)![]()
