Nectar Hex

Glad to have you on board the tiny train we’ve got going here. It’s a great device and deserves appreciation for its whole package it’s got going on.
well my straight mouthpiece just showed-up 3 months after ordering it from WISH.Com. it got lost in La.,Cali port mail/ then flagged by US customs, they opened it and re-sealed it with their us custom sticker.
then resent my little 6x4in envelope to a different carrier to me and it arrived today, after i received a full refund from WISH.com, 4 weeks ago.
so i got my $8.69 mouthpiece for free after waiting 90+days .
i never thought i'd see it, sometimes things work out.

btw after adding the silicone o-rings, i bought a few months back, i reversed the metal cooler mp section to the 510 side- then replace the stock o-ring with the new different sized o-rings, the mouthpiece fits perfect on the nectar hex and it cools the vapor and vape rig like a champ.
so thanks dude for the suggestions and help.
sorry to see you deleted your redditt account and are not active here on FC.
thanks again.

Finally i can try this device.
it is charging, but i can say it feels top notch built
well my friend do you like the hex? replace that shit mouthpiece or add 7-3mm rubies and 2-2m rubies in that zirconium cup under the top section's screen. remove the screen and keep the rubber section. the mouthpiece replacements with several different 510's work so much better.

Actually I like the mouthpiece 😅 the only problem i see is it is hard to remove. But the combo makes a good work (at least for me…maybe I have a rocky throat ).

The devices gets hot (the mouthpiece), it is heavy and maybe it has more conduction than convection, but it is easy to draw, works well with traditional hash with the concentrate capsule, you dont need to wait like pure conduction devices and have better flavor than conduction devices (maybe the flavor is similar to the legacy pro, but i don’t remember the exact flavor of the ALP).

Another con is they don’t sell it on europe.

it's sold in uk, but not eu the hex? it's a uk company behind them medical promoted.
i love my hex after the mp change, really worth the effort

Excuse my hack spamming, but this is perhaps the last one for now and is a pretty solid one.

Rubies can go in the zirconia cooling unit to provide additional cooling/absorption. I have managed to squeeze in seven 3mm rubies and two 2mm rubies without compromising the airflow.

Just take the silicone/screen part off and reveal the sort of hole shape of the cooling unit and stuff the rubies in there and put the silicone back on. I have found that doing this not only continuously improves the mouthpiece hack, but actually made a huge difference when using the stock mouthpiece as well.

this works great too.

I just picked up a Hex because of the claim that there weren't any plastic parts in the air path.

I love the build quality, but after doing dozens of initial burn-offs, I'm getting a strong plasticizer-like odor when I pull air with the unit on. I figured it could be the silicone gasket in the cooling unit, but even when I remove it, I'm still getting the odor/taste from the main unit.

I'm also getting a loud buzzing from the heating chamber (I can hear it with the cap on). I know a lot of these portables use PWM to heat the chambers, but this was the loudest I've come across.

I was just wondering if anyone else experienced these things, or if this is a bad unit.

i'd say your unit may be defective. the only time i hear a buzz is when it reaches temp. high temp silicone should not taste or smell it rated to 550 to 600c. i'd do a warranty thing. email manufacture.

Hey there, thanks for your reply!

So you do hear a buzz on your unit as well? Did you have any chemical/synthetic odors in the pulls initially?

I did see your questionnaire and that was part of the reason that I purchased my unit, but the fact that I'm getting this odor at all has me a bit worried about their claims of a completely isolated air path free of contaminants. It would also be strange that there would be a problem with the composition of the silicone only in some of the batches, so I'm just trying to figure out what could have gone wrong here if it is indeed a defective unit that I received.

Thanks.

i can't say i've not aware of this kind of problem. as far as i can tell, the silicone grommets on moveable zirconia mouthpiece and oven screen holder function is to seal the unit from leaking are not in the airpath ser se. i don't have buzzing or any smell or taste. that's all i know, tbh. contact the people you bought from or manufacture and get new or refund.
