It's clear acrylic with dried flowers around a Stainless liner. I got it from a seller who used to be on etsy. He called it the 'Mother Nature' so I call my setup the mOmni. ; )

Found the maker's new store; it's called New England Woodwork. He only has a few stems listed currently:
Oh man I love the clear acryllic with real dried flower stuff! Wanted to get an acryllic ash/abv tray with flowers in it. Thanks for sharing your cool piece coolbreeze hope you enjoying yourself :) I might just have to keep an eye on the maker. I think its so cool how the internet enables independent craftspeople to sell their niche stuff and for niche hobbyist to find them.

How is vaping out of an acryllic stem? Is it flavor neutral like glass? Any pros and cons compared to the usual materials??

It has a stainless steel liner. I've got a couple other acrylic stems, they're all lined with SS. They seem to hold up pretty well, stay looking nice, etc. Many makers like Futo and Dovetail Woodwork blend acrylic with imperfect wooden pieces to create full shapes, add color, even fluorescence.

Gorgeous!

BallR is firmly established as first for home use... Accidental combustion has been a prob when using triple torch. Convection only - just heating the ball canister midsection - BallR getting a very nice heat curve with a long sweet spot. Haven't combusted yet doing this. Downside: BallR cap makes M too tall for its case. Fits in stash side, though.

So let me ask the newbie question. If you get the new acrylic stem, what else needs to be purchased to have a completely working Dynavap? Is the tip and cap reused from another?

An acrylic stem like mine needs the tip, the cap, and either a std condenser or an xl condenser/mouthpiece. So, for a basic kit maybe the M7 tip, a captive cap (or an armored cap, if you want to try something different) and an MXL condenser/mouthpiece (mine is a similar setup featuring the Omni tip and Omni condenser/mouthpiece).

For one like the Dovetail Woodworks stem above, you just need a tip and cap. The condenser comes as part of the mouthpiece.

If you already have a tip and cap and std condenser (like with a regular M7), you can use those with the stem as well, but it would be standard length with no mouthpiece. If you have an Omni or an M7XL, you are simply switching out the metal midsection for the acrylic one.

So i ordered the ballr cap, hyper tip and thc. And i freakin hate it all!
the ballr cap has no click whatsoever. The THC cap sits on the tip so firmly, that it can hardly be taken off. I pull the entire tip off my stem instead. When finally taken off (only possible when cooled down otherwise id burn myself) it left big scratch marks on the tip, which now looks worse than any tip i own after taking the cap off only two times :(
what a messy experience. Am i doing something wrong? Or is this just bad design?

What a sad experience! Shouldn't the Ballr be clicking?? Or are you saying that this click is hard to hear?

It cant be heared at all. I put this thing into the wand for as long as i do with my tempest. It’s obviously super hot but no click whatsoever. Guess i received a bad one.
The THC is complete BS. The cap is simply stuck and i can only take it off by having the device cool down entirely. Otherwise id burn my hands or take the entire tip off the stem.

Have you tried adjusting the THC fit by pressing the tongue? There is a guide about this on the YouTube channel Dynavap. This way you can loosen/strengthen the cap fit.

Ouch. I had a cap stick once; they have a video on the right way to fix...

It's easy to miss a faint click over the roar of a torch, I do! 😏 If I don't hear a click, I'm roughly timing it anyways and will go for a flavor hit.

Beeswax - I'd guess - can lube the connections. I used chapstick, lol. Works.

When used right BallR has less chance of combustion, my main issue. I can get it right with M devices. BallR / ti tip / Bonger is giving thin vapor... Actually the Ti tip may be more challenging since it's heat curve is shorter.

Keep at it and technique comes. Super glad I don't smoke anymore and I like technique challenges. Starting a fire with flint and steel is the same way.

So I was thinking then the way to start would be to pick out a stem I like & kind of plan around that. I do have a spare condenser now as i picked up a Titanium one to try. & that one could be put in either the new stem or in my original M7.

and maybe get these pieces to make a complete piece.
what cap does with that?
