MAD is one of the only businesses (not just in this space but in general) that has earned my complete loyalty and "take my money" applies to. I saw the email for the preorder, had no knowledge of the device and immediately ordered without a second thought. That's a brave and impressive effort, I only managed about 3.0649 seconds before giving in and mortgaging the hovel!![]()
Yeah, I've already done the arse-licking bit, but just to add, this is the first time I've ever committed to buying something solely based on the rep, and it's pre-sale to boot! I'm continually impressed with Brenyo's engagement, transparency, quality, and innovation!
Yes, from what I understand, the whole slate of V2 accessories will be available at general release. Will I be able to buy just the stem, when the full release happens?
It will, he is releasing a new stand and adaptor (which is silicone) that will work better than the current glass adaptor.I probably missed it, but will the v2 work with the wand?
i am curious to see the new adapter! i had some issues seeing the VI through my current one and can't picture how making it out of silicone would make the VI easier to readIt will, he is releasing a new stand and adaptor (which is silicone) that will work better than the current glass adaptor.
Not yet. Not for me, but for you. You're not ready…where we at beta users? let’s see some media![]()

Gen1 cooling unit is done now. The new one is more similar to simrell etc, I think...What I'm not personally clear on is what of the V1 accessories will be available outside of the v1 upgrade kit. (hope the V1 cooling until will be available again)
Seems illogical to create a new device, and make the old one along with it to me.Didn't @Brenyo say there would be a new batch of Tempest v1's in the summer this year?
Has that changed? Has the v2 replaced that intention? (if so I would presume spares for v1 would still be in the plan?)
my understanding was the version of the summer batch of tempests was never really specified. I was always wondering if there would be some improvements in the summer batch. I feel lke only within the last month has that batch been tagged as tempest 2'sDidn't @Brenyo say there would be a new batch of Tempest v1's in the summer this year?

i thought someone had asked about dosing caps for the v1 and heard that it wasn't a priority@Brenyo Are there any plans for dosing caps made to fit the bigger V2 bowls?
If you can sand a v3pro/fury capsule to avoid the screen position lines of the chamber, you could use one on the v2@Brenyo Are there any plans for dosing caps made to fit the bigger V2 bowls?

Screens, screw, spring, click discs, induction sleeve and indicator housing will be available for at least a few more years. No other old parts will be made that’s not available now, because I can only order thousands at a time. What I'm not personally clear on is what of the V1 accessories will be available outside of the v1 upgrade kit. 10mm diameter X 10-12mm height dosing caps should fit. I haven’t tried it myself, though.@Brenyo Are there any plans for dosing caps made to fit the bigger V2 bowls?

I can't think of another company I'd trust to that degree (which isn't a criticism of others, just my vision of a company I know are doing it 'just right' (or even a bit better!)).
Will you be able to shut off airflow completely in the V2 stem, like the V1?I didn’t specify if it’s V1 or V2

Same for me pretty much. I first approached vaping from the portable electronic side of the market, gravitating to a TM2 in the end, which is a fine vape, but still wasn't quite hitting the mark, an early foray into the DV showed something more engaging but far too weedy and difficult to use (for me) and terrible airflow (I have copd so need a clear flow through, little restriction) so never got into it.After ten years of trying, I finally persuaded a friend to trade dabs and smoking for the Tempest. He has used every device in my collection from my Pax and Mighty to my best ball vapes but the Tempest is the one that won him over. He was so impressed that he placed a pre‑order on the spot. I genuinely believe this could be the device that moves more smokers to vaping.
Sneaky sod!I didn’t specify if it’s V1 or V2![]()

It's the UK site, you have to go into the Tempest 2 product page and scroll down. It shows right below the preorder button , there's only 2 left now.Was that the EU site? Just looked on the UK one but it didn't show a remaining stock count as in your image.
