Never seen anything about this myself, but I'd imagine the approx. £8 difference may relate to the extra costs of setting up the separate EU site and distribution network, and currency exchange costs maybe?
Brexit may well relate to this.

I am in the EU and the difference is almost 50€.
If you order from the UK store, you must pay local taxes upon customs clearance, as they are not included in the price. If you order from the EU store, taxes are already included.
If you visit the UK site using a VPN or try checking out with a UK shipping address, you’ll notice the price is very similar.
There is no glass cup, the head is just sitting on an adjustable silicone disc. No heat transfer to the glass during heating and much less power loss, better performance.
I'll show it once I have all the parts ready.

Ah! I was just looking at the basic price and not considering additional customs costs etc. I don't see how we can complain about this as it's national trading policies, not Mad Heaters charging more for the 'pest itself.

Hi folks, vas is kicking in and the tempest 2 is calling me. I have a question and apologies if this was answered already, it's a big thread 
. I own a Wand and a Flare and have lots of experience with anvil, convector, dani, dyna, etc. Convector xl is my current DD.
Can I use the Wand (or Flare) optimally with the Tempest 2? I prefer no extra equipment, so I'm wondering if an adaptor is required, or if I can just pop it in the IH and go? Thanks!

(not to mention there's no such thing as proof in science, but I presume you've summarised in your own words there and aren't being literal?)
Not to mention that 'proof' would have to be statistical not absolute! Some people fuck up badly on weed in the wrong circumstances, in fact a few even may go temporarily psychotic under it's influence, some become negatively habituated or demotivated to even continue an academic course.
It's hardly worth an argument over a joke, but it's not absolute that weed will make everyone's exam scores better or at least no worse and personally I disagree with suggesting to others it's definitely fine to get stoned off ya tit's at uni/college/school!
I don't believe anyone's ever shown it to be a definite learning boost vs. not taking cannabis at all? And anything else isn't absolute for all people.
(I'm not including the rare cases where cannabis provides a definite medical relief from some symptoms such as severe pain, epilepsy, etc. that could effect learning and exams)
A documentary can be correct or incorrect - have you found some new research that shows weed has no negative effect on intellectual performance (or exam results which aren't quite the same thing)?
That would be genuinely interesting if you had any links, or the documentary provided proper references? I would be interested to read those if there are any you could pass on?

Reading more about the Tempest 2 though, I'm pretty excited to give it a go! I'm planning on getting the new smaller sized vaporgenie concentrate pads that showed up ground down to fit my Tempest because I think they're a touch large. Should be a fun test! If that works well, I'd love to see how the Tempest 2 could handle thay type of setup.

Yes. With the tempest v1 and with every device which can be introduced in the smaller side of the wand
I loved the branding on my beta V1, was sad to see it go so great to have it back in a way with V2. I had decided not to go for the pre order and wait to get the upgrade kit as well. Order placed at 21.01Cant wait to see some more pictures / videos or beta reviews from the Tempest 2!

Absolutely agree, his comms are excellent, and consistent, not just when the the new stuff starts selling. After a year of this, even if he went silent for some reason, I would trust there was very good reason he couldn't message. Does give a nice feeling of security - shit happens, but it won't be any lack on his part.
