Sorry for the poor formating, I am in a hurry and I don't know how to make it better. Any reformating suggestions will be apreciated and I don't mind if any mod deletes the post to make me repost it better.
Can't say for sure but as far as I know it's been said that the previous wooden versions are free from this problem. This incident was only found on the ENHANCE version? ...not any versions of the Wooden model? Also, has anyone heard from the manufacturer?
Hello Sir
We got your email , and we are very sorry for this situation

We will reply ASAP more thorougly as soon as we have more news :
Thank you for your trust and understanding
Kind regards

Important note: following the discovery of fiberglass in the first units produced, and until we know more after dismantling an Angus Enhanced tomorrow, March 20, we've decided to suspend sales of this device.
We'll be back with more information on Friday, March 21 via newsletter.
You are completely right, and I was one who noticed the fake CE labelingWasnt there a whole thing on here about their CE mark being a fake? Seems lile it shouldve been a sign...
Crazy timing. I was set on giving my AE to a neighbor just a few days ago. It's a great vape but it just hasn't gotten use for a few months.
I've been offered a replacement, though, so I guess they'll be getting a brand new vape.![]()
This.<snip>
I still respect the views of well known members on FC and that's worth protecting... but some of ya'll are wrong to downplay this massive fail from Yllvape... which everyone in this community was rooting for despite the issues with original Angus.
Saying things like.... it's not asbestos. ???!!!
A tiny amount of synthetic fiber can be 'treated by the body' ???!!!
Or that fibreglass is in everyday household items so no need to worry is not helping.
You are clearly dodging the actual concern being highlighted.

Now that we know the company makes decisions like this it's really hard to ever trust them again
Hello everyone. Wanted to share my experience with the AE so far. I picked it up two months ago, ran into fit and finish issues and promptly got a replacement. I was excited to start using the new device but it quickly turned to frustration when I noticed fumes emerging from an empty oven chamber while on max temperature. I tried getting in touch with Mike from yll a couple of times but I got no response. The site I bought the AE from took the faulty device back, cleaned it and returned it back to me claiming no issues with the device. But when I got it back I noticed it again. After bringing it to their attention, they flat out denied any responsibility despite the device being barely used and under warranty. I live in a country where it’s hard to get dry herb vaporisers so this experience has been especially frustrating to say the least. Anyway I’m not sure if the fumes have anything to do with the fibreglass controversy, but I would suggest everyone crank up their AE to max temperature for a complete heat cycle just to make sure their device isn’t doing something like this (you might want to use a flashlight over the oven chamber and make sure the background is dark for better visibility as the fumes are pretty wispy). Stay safe everyone!
It is good not to want fiberglass, even when it seems that the problem in the original post was opening the device and manipulating the material by the user and the fiber is out of the air path. But it's also not good to make it seem like the problem is even worse than it is
This incident was only found on the ENHANCE version? ...not any versions of the Wooden model? Also, has anyone heard from the manufacturer?
Too many red flags with this company
which everyone in this community was rooting for despite the issues with original Angus.
Keeping my tin foil hat on for now thank you....
Why not? If the replacement is the FG-free version that is.Please don't give that shit to your neighbour or any person you know or care about.
dont know if you ignored part of my post, or if I wrote it wrong because english is not my main language
Appreciate you jumping in and clarifying your stance on this. Your English is fine and I think we all get where you're coming from... I get that you aren't upset, just talking but try and understand why some are..@vapinape @Shit Snacks
I dont know if you ignored part of my post, or if I wrote it wrong because english is not my main language. (I’m not upset. Just talking. Wouldn’t be the first time i dont write things correctly)
First of all, i said it is good they remove that material. Im not defending that material or whatever.
Then, i shared info about that material. Not an opinon, information. This is not something like “you can think what you want” (about that info).
Everydoby is free to do what they want. Refund it, replace it, complaining or whatever.
I shared that info because on social media people are claiming this material, which has a lot of daily uses, has (old-dated) consequences, or things like silicosis which is from glass powder, not glass fiber (people told me those kind of things).
And i think it is good to know the material and inform people about it.
To tell people “hey, if you have a defective device or you inhaled a little of glass fiber, ask for a refund or a replace, but dont worry because it doesn’t have a long-term consequence. You won’t live with glass finer on your lungs. You won’t die. But take that refund/replace”.
Again, I dont defend glassfiber. If I say something about the original reddit post, doesn’t mean i dont think it is bad the company didn’t inform about this material.
I hope this won’t be misunderstood.
I only shared that because many were sharing that it was the same as asbestos, this material choice is insane. YLL should have known better, reacted faster, and stronger.Saying things like.... it's not asbestos. ???!!!
Thank you for sharing this here and clarifying. I can see why people would panic and think of asbestos. Which is precisely why fibreglass inside a vape is an insane choice...I only shared that because many were sharing that it was the same as asbestos, this material choice is insane. YLL should have known better, reacted faster, and stronger.
Absolutely zero part of me condones this, and I've been a part of the investigating. I'm completely pissed and immediately removed the item from my store, as well as contacted all of my angus enhanced customers.
This is a pretty wild take. Most people are not so blasé about inhaling fiberglass.
For what I read on various sites (in spanish, since it is faster for me. And ignoring glass fiber companies or air purifier companies), it is a good heat resistant but I find different burning temps (not really burning but it is understandable)…they go from almost 400C to 1700C…. (looks like depends on the products, situation…).All the research available about material safety does not address heating up or burning fibreglass and inhaling the fumes multiple times on a daily basis..
'inhaling a little glass fiber' is not the same as inhaling smoke from burning fibreglass...hope this is not misunderstood.
It is not consumer friendly. There’s good info in the link of my first post. To manipulate it, you have to use gloves and mask, because it can irritate the throat and skin (and make skin reaction like an allergic one, in a easy way to say it). In large amounts you nose can bleed too.Really, the biggest problem is the deception. If fiberglass is such a consumer friendly material why did they try and hide it, than cover it up?
While fibreglass itself is not ideal, what binder resins are used with it might be even more interesting, because these can fume out pretty low temp depending on what kind of fibreglass is used. Do we know? There a very different types and some are problematic and others won't contain binders at all.
