The Hippie Pipe X - Analog Portable Vaporizer

MidwestMelancholy

butane vape enthusiast
just got it in today. Just tied it for the first time. Realized I am not able to accurately learn this vape at the moment. Crrrrushed 2 bowls to perfection by going "easy on the heat" with stock jet lighter and carry case. Burnt the third to a life ending amount of coughing. Will forever heat for 10 seconds at a time. Will follow up later. Forgot where my hands are.

Hi! Please see these how to videos:
How-To Use and Heat
How-To Clean
How-To Assemble and Change the Screen

And yes, to avoid combustion, make sure to not overheat 😉
Please let us know if you have any questions. You can also send us an email for assistance :)

I'm pretty curious about this, and thinking it might possibly be the vape I take to music festivals (the case being all in one being the most attractive bit). Little hesitant about the battery life of the torch, although, I could just carry a second, bigger tanked lighter - doesn't look like I need a massive torch like my Dani... I'm also a little concerned about if I'd be able to pull off heating it in the dark after a couple of beers, how easy is it to use after a while of having, does it become automatic? I've watched the videos, but I'm unsure as to if it operates the same in most scenarios. I know some of my vapes perform a lot differently in the middle of the Australian summer, compared to the dead of winter. I feel it should be fine cos the walls seem a lot thinner than some of my other vapes...?

Hi, thank you for reaching out! Just to clarify, the lighter is a double jet flame butane torch lighter, it doesn't have a battery. We recommend using it in the lowest flame setting so it probably would be enough, but it depends on usage too. Once you learn the technique on how to use the Pipe X, it's pretty easy to use. The Pipe X is designed to create the experience you want, so once you've figured out what's your preferred heating technique, it becomes "automatic". Performance stay the same in the summer or winter. If you have any other questions, please let us know. For more videos, please check our Instagram or YouTube

Eh, "a battery stores energy, and that butane is chock full of energy" was my logic. I mean, a hydro dam is a massive battery too, in a way. Just storing energy, all wet like...

And cool. The price is low enough I might grab it anyway and see how it goes. Cos yeah, I'm sick of smoking at days long festivals when my battery ones die on me (I consume like a maniac at these events, not even half a dozen extras can get me through!).

Oh, I get what you mean now LOL You could always carry a back up lighter or two, just in case :)

I have a question about this device. Can you add an additional cap on the hippie pipe to help protect from combusting if your using an induction heater? I assume using that would make it combust as the X on the herb scoop side would have heat from the tip of the pipe being inside an induction heater...yes or am I way off?

Canadian retailers for the hippie pipe bundle by chance?

Hm...very interesting. Closest thing I've had to this was a dynavap. Looking to get back into vaping herb, and I want something similar to my old dyna. This vape is definitely in the running.

That's great to hear! If the Dynavap was your go-to before, the Hippie Pipe X is definitely a good option. The Hippie Pipe X features rapid heating and gives you smooth flavorful hits. Also, we designed it with the flexibility to create the experience that you want without relying on indicators. And we offer the Bundle Kit that comes with the pipe, lighter and holder with a herb stash drawer - great for on the go!

Just got my silver fmj and I think it should come standard with the Hippie.

Coming from Dynas, Danis, Convectors and Anvil, I could never get the heat up with the Hippie down just right. I would either burn the herb, not cook it enough or get uneven extraction. The silver band has helped tremendously with getting a proper heat up.

Just my two cents
