Will any 18/14 or 18/18 adapter with rimmed screen work? All I see is tinyMight wpas, even on google search

Yeah say well, sorry Rogue is out of stock right now, you can also find them on eBay and Amazon, but this one at vgoodiez:

If you can find them, I like the Splinter WPAs the best.
Tetra-Sherlock.jpg

...they are very minimalistic: here you see it with the herborizer sherlock

Yeah they are great, unfortunately not easy to find anymore? GVB was able to attach a handle to mine!

Sorry to bring another question to this thread but I am looking to add a stem to my tubo evic and assume it uses the same as the p80.

I have been checking out good vibes boro from the recommendation of @Shit Snacks . I really like this: https://goodvibesboro.com/store/18mm-Bendy-Beaded-Stem-p509099013.

I need serious cooling or I will never use. Or will the lamart https://shop.lamart.ch/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=729 cool similarly.

@Shit Snacks , would there be any advantages of getting this ground to fit RBT devices if I am using it only for tubo? I only mention this because someone advised getting the RBT WPA.

Any advice for cooling stems would be greatly appreciated.

Yes they all take 18 (aka 19 aka 18.8) mm male stems

The Lamart bendy is great, but the GVB will be better with the balls and extra length, though it will have more airflow too which you can accommodate with how you pack it

The only reason to grind for RBT, would be if you have to fit those vapes too, LaMart has a bit more room so if you were to have it ground for RBT that would put the herbs further away from the heater in a tetra, which is good for a WPA if you want to run very high settings for quick rips through water, but it shouldn't be necessary for you if you only plan to use it with tubo and we're talking about dry bent stem anyway

This one works with the TP80 :

There is a short version as well. I use the short version more often.

Just putting these out as an alternative to rimmed basket screens, currently on sale:
Not gonna lie, I love these basket screens. I even use one in the end of a 18mm male WPA for other vaporizers to act as a secondary screen to catch scoobie snacks before they can enter the waterpipe.

Trying to work with a new machine shop on a few different projects, including a new screen press - hopefully that'll be done early next year ;)

will it work with the wooden lamart stem? or Edstnt 19mm wooden?

Hey guys I’m new to the vape scene. Recently got a utillian 722 (I know it’s not the best) and I also picked up a crafty+. I wasn’t too big on the crafty as it didn’t seem to get the clouds/effects I wanted. Mostly bc of the low temp. So I’ve sent it back and doing some research.
Been looking at other options tho like the tiny might ( it’s too pricey), the Fenix 2.0,and the p80. All are hard to find but I was wondering about the p80 and how I could go about getting one?? Came across the site once but no success. Thanks in advance

*TP80 (just the P80 on its own is a wismec mod) but many Tetra cost more than TM actually and yeah can be much more difficult to obtain, there are big drops on the website where they are all loaded at once and sell out within minutes, you can do a custom during that time too, if you want to order the most base level unit that is usually the best way although there are often some basic pre-builts in the drops... Alternatively score one used here or elsewhere. Welcome to FC!

Appreciate the response. So I’m guessing the TP80 (not sure of the difference) is the newest one out? Would you suggest it over the tinymight? As stated before I’m using the utillian 722 and it’s a bang for buck but I would like to have a digital screen with battery info and more.
My main concerns are the vapor/cloud output, battery life, and something more on the go. I used to smoke a blunt and putting it out to come back couple times later. Pretty much lookin for that in a convection vaporizer. I actually thought about the Rogue but I don’t mind speeding alil to get more.

the TP80 is a rare vape that cost at least 300 EUR most of the time, and if the glass is broken you can't fix it alone... you need to send it to switzerland after paying 40EUR.. shipping is on you..you won't take it out... the glass in the TM supports replacing by the user...if it's broken...the TP80 is a desktop-portable for home/balcony usage mainly...both vapes are great

Considering the price and the ability to fix the glass I’m starting to learn towards the TM2. I wanted a digital screen but it’s not a deal breaker. If it excels like folks say it does then I won’t be disappointed in the TM2. It should definitely blow the 722 away. Appreciate the info

Either the TP80 or the TM2 will blow most things away. Of course I can only vouch for the TP80 and TM1.5

But there's more in depth discussion that might be helpful: https://fuckcombustion.com/threads/tinymight-vs-tetra-p80.46399/

Appreciated. Actually placed my ordered today, tried to do so on the VF site but had an issue, finally I ended up just getting it from vgoodiez.com. Can’t wait to checkout that on demand mode too. Hoping it’ll be here in the next 2-3 days since they’re in the states. I’ll probably sell the 722 or keep it as a backup most likely. I sent the crafty* back, it’s nice but I don’t see what ppl see in those bc of the low temps.

Your post above really belongs in the TM thread if not that ask FC thread linked btw totally off topic for the Tetra ;)

Appreciate the response. So I’m guessing the TP80 (not sure of the difference) is the newest one out?

The original model was Tubo Evic then Tubo Dual, then Tetra heater evolved to be in the Dual, then Tetra P80 released and has seen some slight updates with each drop (the next upcoming one will feature replaceable heater screens) -- Wismec Sinuous P80 it's just the name of the mod the Tetra is connected to, that's why it is called Tetra P80 (Evic was the name of the mod connected to Tubo) and Tetra X is just the heater that can be connected to any mod with a cord. Does that make sense? I'd suggest reading these threads more

Tinymight is my overall favorite as a portable, dry with aftermarket cooling stems and hooks etc, but I use my TP80 more as a water vape at home, they are similar yet different, as you can see in the linked comparison thread above. Yeah so any of these on demand, pure convection, style portable vaporizers will fulfill your needs... (Rogue and 722 are session style devices with hybrid heaters that have a lot of conduction present basically cooking the herbs creating the vapor for you instead of you holding down a button inhaling the hot air through the herbs to create vapor like convection)

Yeah it's a great option, a bit more analog, which is good because you don't want to get stuck up on the digital screen and temp settings as they're going to be different than what you're used to anyway, you need to focus on the device in more of a vacuum to get to know it for you... Not going to be like anything else really. Either way you can always fix the glass, but it requires being sent to manufacture, unless you can possibly do things yourself, but they are pretty durable anyway, and glass stem as your chamber and vapor path means that is always easy to clean and replace...

I really like the tetra p80 with the edstnt's maple stem wpa.. the herb is placed away from the heater, with the included screen, 465F tastes very well

Thankfully I've never dropped my TP80. But one of the reasons I opted to purchase the TP80 is because of how rare it is that someone breaks the glass inside. We're well over 5,000 posts and I'm very happy with the extremely low amount of issues with the TP80.

The thing is you mostly see people baby'ing the p80 in their house. I don't see many pics of people taking them out and about.

Probably why you don't hear about them breaking :)
