Top "Microdoser"

Hello, Im Pete, Ive been using cannabis for 25 years, with a 10 year break somewhere right around the middle.
Now im vaping for recreational use/medical use for anxiety. I try not to vape too much, as I believed that too much of anything is never good for you.
As for my vaping routine. I typically use 0.05-0.01 per session. I mostly like to vape at a high temp, and value vapes that can extract quickly. I would love a "Ball" vape, but thats not the direction im heading.
I own a arizer v-tower with ddave mod and dave one hitter, a dynavap M, and a crafty+.
Im looking at the E nano xl, taffee bowl, and possibly the vapman, and sticky brick.

Could someone enlighten me on what they think would be best for small dosing/efficiency.

Thanks, all.
Pete.

hi pete - i only have a small collection myself, and i am sure others are going to chime in, but for what its worth: i am a microdoser myself, and my two favs in that department are woodscents & vapman. i adore them both.
woodscents tastes a little better imo, and functions fine with really small amounts. incredibly efficient, but not a fast extractor (which i like?). but the vapman has simply no downwards limit to the amounts one can successfully use - which i initially found pretty incredible. my scale got lost unfortunately, but i am guessing i am in the same ballpark as you re amounts? anyway, those two are both great i think. the ws is the more logical choice for a relaxed evening at home, the vapman is cute, very portable, and analogue in a very fun way.

For desktops, log vapes are the right direction for you. Take a look at the Woodscents. Pretty much any of them will work though. I think the E-Nano XL/Underdog Alpha are better suited for bowls >.1g, but you might appreciate the extra horsepower for quick extraction of smaller amounts. The Woodscents does have a pretty tight draw if that's an area of concern for you.

Anvil would be my butane pick. Vapman would work too, but that's more of a slower, contemplative ritual vs. the Anvil.

Also love the Bowle as a battery home portable. Works very well with small amounts and is no fuss. You might want to look at the new Tinymight 2 as well. Not sure if the Bowle can be found in stock right now, there are rumors of a new device coming from Tafee. Tinymight 2 will also be sought after for a bit since it just dropped.

I use similar amounts as you and also prefer higher temps and quick extraction, Anvil/Bowle/Woodscents are my top three units.

Thanks for all the great responses. Im going to do some research on the woodscents, as this is a vape that i am not familiar with.
Does the woodscents basically replace a glass stem with a dynavap? and compared to the E nano xl, which hits harder? Or, could either one clear 0.05 in one hit?

@PeteyS with the Woodscents, you use the Dynavap tip as the bowl with whatever Dynavap compatible stem you want. Nice having access to that ecosystem for stems and adapters. I’d assume the E-Nano XL hits harder since it has a bigger heater capable of handling larger bowls, but both of them should be able to crush .05g in one hit. You can definitely do it with the WS.

Vapman ftw. It was purpose-built for microdosing. And the flavor is superb. Once you get the heating down, a microdose can be a one-and-done deal, so you’re not really sacrificing anything with the ritual.

Lately, I’ve been doing small loads in the Splinter. On demand, excellent flavor, and easy full extraction (for a convection vape). They’re discontinued, I know, but there are a couple of first gens w/ DNA mods in the Classifieds.

I don't think there is a perfect microdoser for everyone, just like there is no "best portable".

If you like to prolong your vaping ritual check out the vapman. Great flavor and an almost meditative experience. A nice log at low temps can work as a sipper with a small amounts.

As @letter never sent pointed out, some folks want their microdose in one-and-done. A nice on-demand device or injector can crush quickly and reliability with very small amounts.

I drift between these extremes so I like to keep a lot of different styles around.

Hey "Grass Yes", yes im looking for a one and done type of hit.
I vape minuscule amounts of cannabis per session, and want it to hit as hard as it can. I already have a dynavap, v tower with mod, and a crafty+.
I would love a injector style, but leaning towards portable as i might have to give up my vape room in the near future.
What do you recommend?

Thanks,
Pete.

You are never going to get as fast an extraction from a portable as from a desktop. I would recommend that, if you have the space.

Although I think the CC Zenith could work if you use it with a 510 mod. Although, for me that is not a practical portable. More for going somewhere outside far from an electrical outlet, but still in my yard.

The fastest extracting typical battery portable that I have is the Tinymight. It can easily extract a bowl in one hit. It's also pretty versatile for other kinds of use. So that is probably your best bet, given your requirements.

Edited to add: forgot about the Anvil. That can also do 1 hit full extractions easily but I think it tastes terrible to "RTL" with the Anvil.

Have fun!

Depending how low a dose you want, hash rosin cart might be too much.

I know for me, the quantity I use is so low that any amount of hash is too much, even the smallest hit possible off a cart. Which sucks because I used to love hash.

Imo the best microdosers I've used are:

MFLB
Dynavap
Any log

I've not used the vapman, but everyone says it's also good for this.

is this thing on?
One of the most convenient one and done hitting vaporizers for microdoses is the Tetra P80. You would need to put it in the warmup to cruise mode at around 215-220C range, wait until it lights green and just take a deep breather.
Vapman is great. Dynavap can handle small doses. It depends on your preferences of course. Said setting with the P80 always gets the job done reliably every single time.

I have been wanting a half bowl converter for the longest time. I tried fiddling around with the stock half bowl setting, but couldn't get it to where i liked.
Out of the three, which one do you like best? and why?
Im leaning towards a e nano xl , or possibly sticking with my dynavap but purchasing a IH to go with it.
Im also looking at the tiny might and the P80. But im sort of kicking myself in the butt, as i probably should have went with either one over my crafty.
Thanks all.

Yeah I was just talking about that in another forum. Have you tried the glass chambers yourself? Im interested in them. I think Sneaky Pete has them for sale on his website.
I usually use the concentrate pad for when i vape 0.15g, but nowadays im using much less then that per bowl.

Jeah. Its Not the perfect vape for microdosing. You could fill the chamber with degummed hemp or cotton too btw.
But convection vapes are more fun for microdosing. Like a small Log would be perfect. You could ask @brainiac for options fe.

On demand matters much more than convection for microdosing. Hence the suggestions of vapman, dynavap, etc. It just happens that most convection vapes are on demand.
