All this clicker nuance talk!
Im so glad to have other humans to shoot the shit about these things.

That moment when your heating your sixth bowl in a row and you hear the click but can't remember if the cap your using is a single or double clicker or even how aggressively you were heating. :uhoh:

When I was putting on my first fmj, I was using a 2021 cap and it wasn't a delayed clicker at first, but I goofed with the pliers tightening it on and bent the absolute shit out of it (It was oval) I bent it back and it became a delay'd clicker cap and never steer'd me wrong since. I got a second fmj and put it on a cap acquired at the same time without crushing it to hell and it remained a rapid click and I don't like it as much

Oh, of course! - 13th August is International Lefthanders Day!

This sinistral still ain't gonna buy one, though...
Not gonna lie it took me ages to realise what was even “left handed” about the cap

All jokes aside it’s just a fun little novelty cap, redditors are getting mad (when aren’t they?) yet they were all fighting over the pumpkin caps not long ago.

Same here on not buying one as a lefty, but as a general rule I don’t give George money any more haha

I might still spend on useful stuff I need, such as screens/o-rings/etc., but these novelties... - nah! Lol

I have not been able to keep up with this thread in ages, what is everyone's preferred setup?

I've not even considered other dyna rigs since going down the road with Assassin... I don't even use my omni's anymore. Is there a better setup for minimal resistance than JoeKing Assassin?
Native its a revolve, Jet Pack heat sink, w/5fin and a Jhook/ashcatcher, 19SS tip used dry would be my other favorite. I still will rotate in other stems to change things up or while cleaning the other stuff but Id be totally happy with just those two setups.

Which cap and tip combo pulls the most amps from a IH? I would like to test devices with the heaviest combo
Gain Ratio - the power an induction heater draws with and without the vapcap inserted. You need a way to read current on an IH. Variable voltage would help but it optional.

Power the IH - use a wooden stick if you need it. Have the current meter (ammeter) in-line with input. Read the current. Then power insert the vapcap and read the current again.

Divide the lower number into the higher number. The result is n:1. This is Gain Ratio

New caps from 2022 runs are showing signs of being 'hot', or highly reactive to the IH. Readings in the 5:1 GR are (were?) prominent around the '419' cap release. 3 separate sources reported at 5.3:1 GR. This 3rd batch of cap material is an OG supplier so there is great hope for hotter caps going forward.

My older caps have gain ratios of up to 6.2:1. These are monsters in an IH.

I just finished the first version of my DynaVap Stash Box for M and Omni models - check it out here: Printables: DynaVap Slim Stash. I'd love to hear any feedback if you end up printing and using it!
