Please also consider a a silicone shock cover. Like the ppl who put one of those remote-control things on their wand. But you know, fitting, and black.
No promises on that one, especially at launch, but there will be a carry case for it and the new enclosure will be much sturdier as I expect.

I have a question about the sense. Well, it's a wish that asks for more detail.

I wish the Sense will have a good USB-PD Charging IC, not just pulling a basic 5V. For quick charging and possibly external power supply
This wasn't planned anymore on the 2x18650 version but might change with the 2x21700.
It adds some extra cost unfortunately and I have to make sure that the Sense is not too expensive as we have to make quite a large qty of them.

You'll be able to leave it on charge all the time without degrading the batteries and use it as a desktop heater.

Other than that I'll always recommend a separate charger and more batteries if needed, but it will last a while with 2x21700's and temp sensing - you don't have to loose as much heat waiting for the back-click so it'll take less power to re-heat it if you're quick enough.

So far my results are not better than my all-glass setup (tip directly into glass WPA > ash catcher > j hook). My knowledge of carbs is from dabbing and my all-glass setup for DynaVap has no carb. I lose half the effects if I leave the carb open even slightly on the Revolve. I’ve tried fluttering the carb open briefly during the hit and that helps

It won't get much better than an all glass cooling setup, it's just more compact and won't break as easily.
If you leave the air hole open without fluttering then you need to toke it much harder (DL / Direct to lung) in order to get a good vapor production. Adjust it to a tiny open hole, the very end of the smaller slot and try it that way without fluttering. Increase the draw speed until you feel some resistance.

I can’t wait to order a Gen 2
I also can’t wait for the Sense release
The suspense is killing me.
I used a Gen 1.0 to convert a disabled vet friend of mine from years of combustion. One 1/2 bowl of his daily flower and he could not believe how there was no burn, no cough, and he was so highly medicated he didn’t understand it. I had him use his flower so he wouldn’t think it was just my good weed that got him. When I debowled it and he saw how little weed he used he was sold. Then to tell him about the reclaim and AVB you could tell if we weren’t friends he would have never believed it. He lives in a motor home traveling with his girlfriend driving for him, so he just wouldn’t be able to order one with how crazy it is getting in US with the USPS sitting on out of country shipments for so long, so I just gave him one of mine knowing I would be ordering the gen 2 soon.

Love your stuff @Brenyo

Really late, and I stole everything from the manual our lovely user blazinhazen made so all praise goes to him, though I found it useful to have saved on my phone without having to go through the pdf.

Hey, awesome graphic man!

Small error on it, in the direct airflow tube section the symbols for open and bypass need to be reversed. The first image shows what happens when the hole is lined up with the bypass opening. The second image shows what happens when the intake hole is lined up with the open hole setting.

Great way of simplifying it. I just have 6 edited screenshots on my phone lol

I feel your pain haha
Was about to order a gen 1 when they announced it :p
I'm quite happy with my M21 + Simrell performance kit but when I hear how smooth, cool and without irritation the Revolve is I just have to have one so I can find out for myself.

I came from that. You will not believe the difference. Also, get a Simrell FMJ, you will not regret it, I have one for every dynavap I own now. (and get a direct airflow tube for the v2, I have a beta and the intercooler makes it hit like a dream when on bypass)

A fun random use case that no one has talked about.
You can run the revolve within a firewood 7 if you have a stem that is capable.

I have the revolve in a NewEnglandWoodWorks stem.
I lose the airflow control but it doesn't matter, since even closed it runs colder than my stinger.
The revolve glass body(I bought the glass body bundle) is slightly too short to work correctly since the firewood would block the airhole.

Remind me that in September

Cool to hear you had the same setup I was kinda wondering if the Revolve is a big enough upgrade.
With all these options and similar products nowadays it's hard to find out which vape is best for you.
Certainly since my goal isn't to have a huge collection just the "best" ones in each category.

Oh I get that, I do the same thing building up my ideal set up. I think I am almost there, just a few more modifications needed for it to be perfect.

Currently I am at a 2021 Vong Ti tip, a Captive Cap + FMJ, a v1.5 Revolve with direct airflow and intercooler, with a ZAM Grinder and a PT-4000. All I need is a decapper like the d-capper VHB (as seen here) which I plan to stick on my keyring magnet or maybe even the ZAM Grinder. I am thinking of adding a sneakypete half bowl converter for a bit more heat mass under the FMJ and then a couple more tweaks. And that should polish off my Dry Herb Butane vape. (Partner/SO approved if I also brought Crème brûlée, or sitting outside)

For Dry Herb electric it would be the Crafty+ and a ZAM grinder (plus my custom PETG funnel insert that fits underneath one of the teflon bowls) (Partner/SO Going for a walk approved)

For 510 Carts it would be either my Yocan Uni Pro 2.0 or my Yocan Uni Twist depending on the exact size of the cart, tip shape and whether I knew its resistance already. This is the best for stealth and I couple it with my printed micro carbon spoof so there is only a slight clean scent (Partner/SO approved).

For Concentrates I use a divine tribe V4 with titanium crucible on either a custom 1x18650 DNA75 mod or a Wismec RX Gen 3 Dual. (Partner/SO approved if they are allowed to laugh at my coughing [a revolve stem mod might be in its future])

I am slowly getting there lol

Use, Misuse, and Abuse!
The Revolve was a true game-changer for me and made it possible to enjoy the DV-way of vaping to the fullest because of it's cooling: my coughing/throat irritation stopped overnight!
It's smooth and tasty vapor, the versatility and the engineering/machining can't be praised enough.
B-u-u-u-ut....
With all the love and compliments going towards the Revolve it's easy to overlook this other great MADheaters accessory:
The Reload!

Has to be said: the Reload is easily my most frequently used vape-accessory! Organised and decluttered my vaping big time!
Take out the reload, disassemble and ready to go!
Two seconds and it's all there: stand, two (or more) strains, debowling ABV container, various tools (the ccd-placing tool is kinda great! Or the tamper to (re)shape the screens!...)

Slightly tamping down the weed works very good for me to get consistent results with every bowl!

Some CBD on the bottom, tamp tamp

A bit of THC on top, tamp tamp

Decapping is a breeze, those magnets are really strong so mostly don't need to slide the cap to take it off.
Debowling when still hot is the easiest thing and it really helps to keep cap and tip clean much longer and i don't have a "vape-trail" of ABV following me around anymore: it is now all collected automatically!!

It's very custom: you can use only one container (and still have the stand, decapper, tamper) or add as many as you want, the half-threads made it a joy to (dis)assemble, every little detail shows the thought that went into the design!
The Reload is clearly made by a fellow-vaper: it's smellproof, waterproof, super-portable (love the keychainholder) and it's virtually indestructable!
Packed with features and just a perfect tool for vaping all around and imo a must have tool for those of us who partake in the "DV-style" of vaping!
Nice one, MADheaters!

I have 3 extra pots on mine and probably gonna get 2 more

Hey there, checking in again after a while!

I've seen the 2.0 beta Revolve review by CannaCareGB and must admit that I am pretty impressed.
This thing is only getting better!

I learned that the 2.0 beta DRC tube does not have the extra MTL cutout that the standard release DRC tube will have.
Moreover, the 2.0 beta DRC tube may stay locked in the mouthpiece whereas the standard release version will spin more or less freely.

These beta features interest me, particularly the latter.
I haven't quite decided what to think of the MTL cutout yet.

Is there any chance of obtaining a 2.0 beta DRC tube or will those beta features be available on an alternative DRC tube at release or later?

Thanks in advance!

Moreover, the 2.0 beta DRC tube may stay locked in the mouthpiece whereas the standard release version will spin more or less freely.
Both on the beta and the release version the DRC tube will sort-of lock into place once it's fully pushed in, but on the beta this doesn't work now because the airflow tube is too short and the MP is keeping a tiny distance between the bottom of the airflow tube (the plug / choke) and the top of the "condenser" connection.

On Gen 1 there is always a small gap between the Airflow tube's "plug" and the "condenser" so you can adjust it fully pushed in, however this is not optimal in some cases and there could be a minimal air leak. It doesn't change anything peformance wise, but it'll need some additional cleaning if you're doing it with a q-tip.

Gen 2 will be completely sealed there and the friction won't let it spin or just if you force it. This can be tested on the beta with removing the MP and trying to rotate the DRC that way.

Is there any chance of obtaining a 2.0 beta DRC tube or will those beta features be available on an alternative DRC tube at release or later?
The release DRC tube can be used the same way as before or with the new MTL hole. Both options are on the same airflow tube.

Sorry, I'm unsure I understand what you mean by this.
Do you mean that the DRC/DA tube doesn't fully insert into the connector on top of the spiral tube because it can't sink deeper than the MP allows?
A longer DRC/DA tube fixes this, as you said.

Gen 2 will be completely sealed there and the friction won't let it spin or just if you force it. This can be tested on the beta with removing the MP and trying to rotate the DRC that way.
Sounds good.
How do you do enable the MP to spin freely?
Do you just store the o-ring under it, mounted on the DRC/DA tube like on the Gen 1?
In that case, how do you fixate the helix cooling insert in the DRC/DA tube while the MP spins freely?

I also saw that that there are just three cutouts atop the DRC tube. Two store the helix cooling insert. I'm unsure what the third one is for.
Do you adjust draw resistance with it using the digger outer?
I assume that's it.
On the Gen 1 there were two cutouts for that.
So, I guess that there will be a fourth cutout opposite the third one on the Gen 2 standard release, both for DRC.
Since these DRC cutouts will be situated perpendicularly to the two helix storage cutouts, the helix itself will need to have a cutout in its center.
Otherwise you won't get the digger outer into any DRC cutouts while the helix is inserted, so you won't be able to adjust the draw.

The release DRC tube can be used the same way as before or with the new MTL hole. Both options are on the same airflow tube.
Yep. I just worry about cleaning the MTL cutout and am unsure whether I need it if the DL cutout already works with DRC.
No beta or only DL DRC tubes then?

Sorry for the wall of text and the many questions. I'm intrigued.

Yes on the Gen 2 beta it's too short. On the Gen 1 it goes in fully, but the "plug" at the end is not as wide as it will be on the Gen 2 so you can rotate it without friction.

How do you do enable the MP to spin freely?
You'll need to pull up the MP about 4mm and then it'll click into an o-ring groove where you can rotate it freely. Adjust by the markings and push it back in place to lock it.

MTL:

DL:

I just worry about cleaning the MTL cutout and am unsure whether I need it if the DL cutout already works with DRC.
I don't think that it'll need any additional cleaning if you clean the inside with a qtip. The wall of the tube is very narrow and the slot hole is twice as large as what you can actually use when it's fully pushed in.

I also saw that that there are just three cutouts atop the DRC tube. Two store the helix cooling insert. I'm unsure what the third one is for.
There's only 2, but deeper and wider. The 3rd small marking is for the DRC setting just as on the Gen 1. You'll able to fit your nails in between the inside of the cutouts and the helix.

Do you just store the o-ring under it, mounted on the DRC/DA tube like on the Gen 1?
In that case, how do you fixate the helix cooling insert in the DRC/DA tube while the MP spins freely?

At the top it it's either for storing or holding the helix while it's spinning freely. At the bottom marked with red it's the stop position.

Alright, I'm sold. You never disappoint.

Adjusting draw resistance seems very convenient on the Gen 2.
I completely forgot about the markings atop the mode ring, but now I went back to view their previous design (page 65 just before the bottom).

Is the design in this latest picture final?
I really liked the dots for MTL and the bar for DL.

MTL = multiple smaller puffs = dots
DL = one steady rip = bar

That's smart design language to me.

The MTL cutout on the DRC tube doesn't bother me anymore.
It seems large enough to receive a thorough swipe.

Finally, the tapered DRC/DA tube I find astonishingly elegant.
It accomplishes so many configurations with so little room, impressive.

Now, I'm wondering what holds the tube in place if the MP is set to spinning (apart from the o-ring groove used to adjust the draw resistance), but at this point I'm certain you got that covered as well, even by means of black magic if necessary.

Yes, that’s the final design. It’s more visible where it’s set to exactly this way and easier to machine, but it’s pretty much the same as before. 3 lines which is getting deeper for MTL (replacing the 3 dots) or one long deep line for DL (replacing the long line)

Now, I'm wondering what holds the tube in place if the MP is set to spinning
The spin/stop o-ring doesn’t hold the tube to the main cooler, it only provides friction between the mouthpiece and the tube. It works the same way as now on Gen 1 (o-ring behind the symbols) but it won’t click into an o-ring groove at the fully pushed in position, it’ll be just held there by the friction of the o-ring.

2 mini pots here. Measures at 11,7 cm total (without keyring).

Sense dimensions from the opening post:
- Approx. 112mm (4.41in) x 54mm (2.13in) x 25mm (0.98in) + 3mm height for the top island.

@Brenyo
Could you perhaps tell us a bit more about any possible colour options, coating, anodized?

AHHH, now I see it in detail. Great, this final design is even better!

I love that the deepest dot opposes the bar and the shallower dots are off-centered to one side.
So the deepest dot represents that the MTL cutout is fully exposed to the spiral top air exit for full airflow.
If you turn towards the shallower dots, less and less of the MTL cutout is exposed, reducing airflow.

Talk about smart design language!

Okay, now I fully understand how the tube and MP interlock.
What holds the tube and MP to the connection atop the spiral, I don't know.

But this seemed to work like a breeze on the beta anyway.

Not quite sure yet, but I’m thinking of mixing raw + PVD colors for the new case.

What holds the tube and MP to the connection atop the spiral, I don't know.
An o-ring on the inside of the spiral / cooler, same as on Gen 1 🙂

Nice.
I've always wondered: How do you get such interior o-rings out, clean their cutout and insert them back?

Does anyone have experience with this?

I'm sure there is a rather easy way. Otherwise they wouldn't be as popular.

I dig at it with a needle. Once you get one edge out, things are easy. They also go back in really easy.
