Wax? That's interesting, what kind if you don't mind me asking?
I usually use Ed's TNT Bomb Ass Butter. But Dynawax or whatever beeswax would probably be fine. I know lots of folks just put a little mineral oil into some beeswax and they have the same thing for way cheaper.

To clean the stem, I just slather on a nice layer over the whole thing, leave it alone for about an hour and then wipe it off. I don't actually have to clean my stems very often but it works really well.

Mi (and the Splinter, along with some other 510's) has put my Vapcaps on ice. The flavor & efficiency with RBT gear is what I love
I've been back and forth between the MV1 and the Mighty and RBT has put both vapes on ice as well. The terps on my Mi and Splinter are insane and the effects are felt in my soul. I forgot how much of a punch RBT packs.

My favorite thing about the Mi is that it's so easy to vape fully hydrated whole nugs that have been stored with a 62% humidity pack. All other vapes I've ever owned fall flat when trying to do this. The Mi effortlessly rips through them without breaking a sweat and I can ditch the age-old rule of "your material must be thoroughly dried out before vaping it". Also vaping hydrated buds gives MUCH better vapor quality.

I re-entered Milandia with my recent acquisition of Vlad the Inhaler’s medium length dimpled stems which cool the vapor enough for me while maintaining the great stealthy portable trademark of the Mi. I had forgotten why I loved my Mi’s so much. Fabulous flavor (nothing like that first terp hit of a fresh stem). And the much valued ability to put the vape down after a nice hit and take things in a bit before the next hit without continuing to cook your material. My favorite hit of each stem is the one right after a stir, which I do after the second or third hit. Not necessarily my most used vape, but my favorite.

Is the Milaana a session or fast extractor? I’m trying to figure out how to best use this device? I’m used to small doses being extracted fast in my e-nano. This has a big learning curve.

it’s more of an on demand vape definitely. I consider a session vape to be synonymous with conduction. One where the heater/oven of the device stays on the whole time regardless of whether or not you are inhaling. With that being said the Milaana is a convection vape, the oven is on only when you engage it/ press the button. I suppose you could use it like a session vape and get more hits but it would take some temp control. The Milaana should be able to function like your e-nano. That’s how I use mine, I usually clear a bowl in 3-4 hits. Which Milaana do you have, og, 1.5, 2, or 3? It just takes practice, how long have had it or been using it?

Yeah there's a game of the button, and the battery level, along with how you draw and load, a lot of variables to control, you can microdose like your enano, you can do fast full extraction easier with full battery, but you have to be careful depending on the Milaana too... Another thing is that the heater does get heat soaked, so in that way it can be a good session vape in the sense that it's nice to sit down for a little session with it and naturally temp step a bowl, or go faster.

I didn’t mean is it on demand or session it’s definitely on demand. Last night I had about a full basket of coarsely grinded bud and I did about 5 good hits where I had been holding the button for 4 seconds and then inhaling while still holding it for another 4 then I feel it in my throat so I let go of the button for 2 seconds while still inhaling then hold it again repeating that till I can’t inhale anymore. But I felt I could have gotten bigger hits. These were more session type hits. Also I felt my bud had more hits left in it, but I fell asleep. It’s homegrown that had some seeds so it might be kind of weak, but with the e-nano I felt more from a smaller load and only got about 2 hits. I’m trying to replicate that experience with the Milaana. I like fast extraction.

I have an m3. I thought this one had the strongest heater of all the milaanas, but it’s feeling like a session vape. What’s your technique for extracting in 4 hits?

There is also a glass maker we buy from that makes a similar stem. I can't remember the name, but sure someone on here can chime in.

First. It depends on the battery. I have a couple 20a that are more gentle and a couple that are 25a with a burst to 40a and they rock. Full batteries are key.

Also. Try a preheat holding button for 3-5 seconds before inhale, then inhale as you described holding button and pulsing as necessary. Depending on how strong you draw you may be able to keep up with the heater and just draw for the entire time. Be careful as you can combust.

Mine might possibly be 15a. I don’t see it labeled anywhere. Or 20a.

4ever got it basically, you need to do more preheat, with a fresh battery, a good battery in particular, would be ideal, also a slow draw steady inhale, but you need to be careful not to scorch, also a consistent medium fine grind, packing the basket screen firm but not too tight any amount to cover the screen. This is fully manual and takes a bit of technique, you should get there over time, much easier to do with just it, I don't know how new it is to you? G'luck!

I can extract small doses very fast with my M3, it sounds like you just need more practice. I would also advise using the short stem only, that way you can feel the heat and know when to lay off the button. The E-nano and Milaana both have the power to quickly rip small loads, it's just that the Nano isn't a manual vape, so it doesn't require any practice to get it done. But you'll find the M3 to be one of the best vapes on the market for extracting small loads once you learn how to do it.
To answer your question though, the Mi is very versatile and can be used to sip or rip. It's all in how you work the button, how big a load you pack, and the level of your battery. The more you use the device the more you understand the technique. It just keeps getting better. You'll learn that there's more than 1 technique. I'm over a year into ownership and I'm still honing the lengths of time spent on and off the button. The hits are better than they've ever been, they're amazing now (and they were good on day 1!).
