Thanks mate, the shop took it back and will send me a standard omni instead. I will not approach any color vapcap again.

Each to their own but I couldn't care less what my Dynavap looks like as long as it works properly, but if you received a new Dynavap with scratches on it I can understand wanting to change it.
I have the 2018 Shadow M, 2019 Phantom M and the Obsidium Omni and I use them all regularly and none of them are scratched or marked. I make sure to put them in my Dynastash or a plastic tube when not in use.
Any Dynavap will get damaged/scratched if you are careless with it so avoid things like putting your Dynavap in a pocket with keys in it etc.

I've not (as of yet) seen any issues with the PVD coating on my 2019 PhantoM
. I wondered when they released the new Obsidium Omni whether applying the PVD to the Ti would work as well as with the SS used in the past.

My Obsidium Omni has been my daily driver for 3 weeks now, so approx 120 bowls/ 480 heat cycles with both torch and IH.I've not (as of yet) seen any issues with the PVD coating on my 2019 PhantoM
I have no discolouration on the cap at all - it is as shiny as day 1.
The tip has no marks at all from removing/replacing the cap.
The body and mouthpiece are still in pristine condition.
Early days I know but I think that long-term the Obsidium Omni will hold up well if looked after.

Thanks!! This one is an XL G2, a normal G2 won't fit the MVS afaikLike the G2’s, it’s a beauty.I need XXL G2 though, which they don’t make yet.

Just got new walnut Futo XL stem. Now the Futo wood stems seem to come with metal linings like the acrylic stems. These DV’s don’t fit in the XL stash without removing the tip and require the XXL stash to fit normally. I might eventually get a XXL stash and drill out the storage side accept another DV if they don’t do a G2 XXL. The Galaxy stashes are nice, but beyond what I can afford.

Ya know, for BF I bought a tip and cap for my Revolve that is on order, and just for fun because I didn't have one I bought the 21 Omni tip, but I bought a regular cap instead of a captive one. I have been perfectly happy with the captive cap I got with my 21 Vong and I may have made a mistake by not getting a captive cap for the Omni tip. Not a big deal, of course, but I may have to order a captive cap on the next sale...

Well, I do know what the word perforated means, I have just not heard or seen anything about these. Have they been previously announced or discussed somewhere? Maybe I just haven't been paying enough attention...

Edit: Not sure that they hit differently. Maybe I'll retry the pumpkin on a vong tip/WPA and see if the airflow's increased....
