I'm almost all flower and I originally grabbed the VROD, upgraded to the B-2, wanna see if I can get the B-1 top for Black Friday since I already have the screened bottom. I don't see just the top listed anymore though, I'll email them Friday and find out.

On Christmas Eve I waited up until midnight to get it on the discount code for my original order, I had just found FC, and y'all have cost me a lot of money since then! I can't stay up late this time, so I hope I can get in on it.
The b-1 is just the weedeater bottom correct? Unless you have a weedeater top I don't think a b1 will work but I could be wrong completely here

The B-1 is the Screen Baller diffuser with a modified Weedeater nut. They can still be DIYed without the new nut but the old Weedeater nut lacks a slot for the top screen.

That's what I thought. I have the screen baller diffuser, I can just replace the VROD top with the B-1 top and go.

At that point I'd have the original VROD and the screen diffuser, and I could go between the B-1, B-2, and VROD if I'm not mistaken? I wouldn't be able to assemble an OG weedeater, but I've never been too interested in that one.

I really liked my vrod B2 set up. I did think it an improvement to standard vrod. and I was happy with the screen and no baller nut. No need for another carb cap.

Tbh if I didn't have a dcup to use concentrate on I would have stuck with it. It's a brilliant vape.

But as I have a dcup I went b1 and sold my vrod. I think the b1 is another slight improvement for me.

Maybe go B2 for now.....?
Just a B-2 would definitely be a safer/cheaper bet to start. I guess the only thing I'd be missing at that point is the more open airflow of the B-1 (compared to the B-2). Did you notice an improvement in airflow from the VROD capped to the B-2 uncapped?

I used the B2 capped. I could use lower temps and milk quicker but for me I used it capped. I used the standard cap and no baller nut.

For me, the biggest improvement with the b1 was not having to use a cap. Of course the airflow is improved. It milks quicker at lower temperatures. But i just found using the cap a hassle....

Hehe that has me excited, the VROD is already such a beast.

That's part of the reason I want a deuce carb cap so I can put the handle sideways and it will sit more securely with the lip or I'll just leave the handle off. A smaller handle alone might be all I need but I would need a new cap anyways for the baller nut. All the talk of older caps a little while back and then CH listens and makes a new one. What a fantastic bunch they are!

Here’s a shovelhead stand idea I shared on discord that didn't get any engagement :D. It's got the same kinda interior hole as on the 5" stand where the shovelhead itself rests on the little interior shelf instead of mating with the post. It can stand alone, or fit the controller stand by sitting in carb cap spot or attaching with a 1/4-20 screw.

Haven't combusted since my last check in lol. I am still figuring out the best method but for me:

670, a medium pull until I see vapor then I pull the devil out of it and milk the sucker good for a few seconds and then pull the b2 off the bud, quick as I can. This has pretty much given me a completely toasted bowl most times. Some times I misjudge and take the fp off the bowl too quick, but I'm trying very hard not to combust lol. Soon I'll have it perfect. Love this thing it rips! I miss the high I got from the first few rips off this beast where it took me completely by surprised and I died lol. I want that back, maybe I'll push it tonight!

Looks very cool. Stable enough without a flared base?

Personally my favorite time in this thread is after a big sell and seeing all the excitement of the new owners showing up, I think we have a great sense of community as the FP club in this thread!

WeedEater was doing just that. I have not noticed the savings in material.

Started doing one hitters like above. 750*f, .7 to .9 g of herb.
Looks like the AVB posted above.
Will report back in a week or so.

Ordering the B1 on Black Friday. I don't expect more clouds, Just lower temp.

I have ordered a few bowls, no joy yet. I did find the link to the Dhgate site for the 22 mm OD bowl.
They had one 18 mm. zero 14 mm. It will be here when ever.

9/17/20 was the milestone here for the Vrod…9/19 was the start of thermal extraction for me.

B1 continues to impress. Just got to remember not to slow down…or pack too much.

Can I still email and order just the B-1 top? I wanna try to get one at Black Friday pricing, but since it's not a listed unit, I don't know if they'll sell one with the discount.

@delta hotel yeah the quantum behavior of parts on the site, popping into existence only to disappear and reappear again. Cats are not amused. :)

This sometimes works, use tFlowerPot B1 Nut (3227)he search function. It will often summon the parts you desire in a handy ready to order format. B-1 Nut (3227).

In this case though it's not verking. verk you bastard verk. :horse:

Is this what you seek FlowerPot B1 Nut (3227)
