Does anyone hear know if the Inception 2.0 WPA stem fits the FW7?
Thoughtless of them not to indicate the size.

That looks too much like the built-in hula stem. Not the best ergos either that stem sticking sideways out of the FW7 like a straw.

Oh wait: are you trying to use the Inception stem in place of the hula? That'd be a nifty hack for anyone who didn't have the wpa add-on

The non WPA version does so idk why the WPA version wouldnt but just in case I'd listen to someone who actually owns both (not me although they seem like awesome stems)
WPA is 5'' from them.

And it's gonna stick out of the FW7 for sure, as will most aftermarket/compatible stems

yes I thought if the distance from the base of the WPA part to the tip was long enough to fit into the FW7 if would make an interesting Male WPA alternative to the FW female wpa. Plus it might be fun to double inception....Inception WPA to Inception J-Hook

I've been enjoying the inception j hook from O'Connell woodworks. Pretty solid option, and the glass feels nice and thick.

Yeah that is a great one too!

Ever since I got the wpa, my fw7 has been living on my piece or j hook. It really is a must have if you wanna enjoy it at home.

Yeah the WPA is great, sure there are other ways to connect with the standard configuration, but the WPA gives you a more direct vapor path with simple ceramic ring easier to clean and then the rest is just your glass, as opposed to the flat ceramic right angle bend with the standard configuration (I also prefer to keep the FW7 flat upright in use personally)

@Shit Snacks I like the coolness of the vapor through water, but I feel like I'm losing some flavor. What temps are you using?

I wouldn't even say it's necessarily cooler than a dry glass piece, just something different something fun, but yeah it's better to use the upper temps through water, so sometimes in that case I experimented starting my bowls at 370 or 390, going the whole way like that, but sometimes I will start low temps like usual through a hook and then switch over to the water stepping up the temp sooner, but so I can get some of those good flavors as well... Finally it depends on the water piece of course, how big and the type of perc, the little circ perc rig I last posted has been really good with the FW7, along with a s-shaped drop-down adapter, you only need a little bit of water, just enough to cover the slits.

Yeah, I was wondering if you (or anyone) temp steps on your glass. I tend to just set it to 400 and let it rip, dry or through water. I still temp step on my j hook, though.

I want to try starting on low temps and swapping to using it through water. Now that sounds like a good time

the inception to the inception, someone try it so I don't have to lol Seems like it would work similar to the bb9 stem.

Yeah I have not adjusted my preset temps on either FW7, so 370 and 390 is my max temp, so if I'm going purely for a full water session I've started there and still get many hits, shorter hits typically since they are larger... Can still be nice flavor!

When Vgoodiez get these back in stock get a sherlock by Herborizer. I know kinda spendy, but you won't regret buying it. I love mine. Otherwise get one from Elev8 Glass. Thick glass, good size, priced right. Also sold by Vgoodiez.

So, I emailed Marc about the buzzes on inserting the battery. This is the reply I got: "The random buzzes are due to a minor firmware bug where the variable that controls the vibration motor isn't getting initialized. It doesn't cause any harm so hasn't gotten fixed yet but is on the todo list for fw8".

Mine does this, too, never thought much of it. Interesting to see mention of the FW8 from him….

Inception j hook out for delivery today - USPS was supposed to deliver Friday…

A blem SSV showed up on Friday so the FW7 got a rest - coming back into service last night for a small, quick, tasty bowl.

What's everyone's best method for getting the biggest hit possible?

Have you tried pushing the button 5 times (holding on the last)? That overrides the temp settings and just lets it keep heating as long as you hold the button. It will make it more possible for you to combust, but if you’re looking for the biggest hit possible it’s worth checking out.

The first hit from cold is also not usually as large because the ceramic takes a little time to fully heat up.

If it’s already hot and you take a long draw you should get a lot of vapor just about any way you use it. I don’t really push for the largest hits I can get so I haven’t bothered to compare the details on that front.

I should also mention though, if you hold the button too long with a slow draw or without drawing you can start to get some less good taste as the edges get overcooked. If that happens, that’s about the only time I stir. If that doesn’t bother you, rip away. ;)

The first inhale I do everything like normal. But when I'm in a hurry and want to cash a bowl quick, I wait a good 30-45secs after the buzz that indicates its at temp and then inhale. Kills a bowl in two inhales..

What’s your temp setting when you do that? Is the taste okay? With the default settings, at least on 2 or 3 that sounds like it would ruin the taste for me.

If that doesn’t bother you though, I assume it would work pretty well. You might get more vapor condensing in the ceramic adapter and maybe even glass parts, but I’m sure it gives a big hit!

It was zero centigrade overnight here yesterday. I had forgotten and left my FW7 in the car with a loaded bowl overnight (no garage- out in the open).
It was 5:45 am barely above freezing when I pressed the button on a partly empty battery. Only 12 seconds to heat up level 2, which is only 2 seconds more than normal. Amazing.
Draw, pause, draw slightly faster, pause, draw faster still while releasing button and exhale huge cloud. Too easy.
I was paying attention because this was the first bowl after I had to get out the glue after a major breakage. Relieved to still be getting perfect hits.
I had completely broken off one of the slides after it jumped out of my hand. Some epoxy glue seems to have done the job.
If it doesn't hold over time I will just glue the wpa in place, since I never use the mouthpiece any more anyway.

Does anyone have an idea of how many units are put on sale each Sunday?
I'm curious to know how these handcrafted vapes stack up in the market. I saw a post about it about the Lamart P80, it's pretty small in the end. Those who own one are well off! And those who have several, between collection and "back-up", are particularly greedy considering the high demand...that's the game i guess?
I'm not really complaining because I found a used FW7 from someone who had 2 and who was willing to send it across the lake in EU.
(I still thank him warmly because I am so conquered by the FW)

I’m almost positive I’m very familiar with that FW! Very unmistakable wood grain and colour. I believe that owner has posted pics to Reddit before. You scored a beauty!
