Just an update on the Halo progress. I found 3 connectors that will fit snuggly to the pin and fit into the sockets, the original ones had bad wires where insulation around them would off gas and burn and the connectors are only rated for 3a and arnt meant to hold thicker wires. The new ones I found can handle more than enough power through them and will still fit into the ceramic g4 socket while holding 18awg wire. All of which will be out of direct airpath. The last little hurdle and I am trying a few things, but had to order them in, is finding a way to hold the socket snugly. Nothing against silicone holding it but I’d much rather have metal. C clips are tricky because of the taper on the end of the attachment and I don’t like the idea of the pressure of the clip on the glass plus thermal expansion and air inlets just sounds all bad. So if my connectors work really the only thing that stands in my way of production is holding the socket nicely so the socket stays put while changing bulbs. Any ideas I’d greatly appreciate.

I’m currently figuring out what I expect the price to be. I’m estimating $240 for vape, bowl, Vvps and a small “stand”.
The new one I’m trying to figure out an estimate. With the heater element being more expensive and using more mass it will cost more

So does $240 also include balls to fill the vape? Or is that sold separately? What does the small 'stand' look like? With a coil handle, we're looking at $300++? What if we don't want the vvps or bowl? Whats the price for Vape alone?

You’re good bro. I edited my previous post to say currently I don’t know a target price for “?” Vape. The halo will come ready to use with mass added to the heater. The small stand will be nothing special I imagine in the form factor of this almost
I am only selling the bundle sorry. It has everything you need and the vape has the handle on it already. All for $240 is goal right now.

One of the enjoyable things I've found about the halo is that it's lightweight and stable enough that it can sit on most small rigs without the fear of toppling. Really lets me try it with many different percs for different experiences.

I’m really trying to step my game up on glass. Which perc have you liked the best with it?

I have a similar style recycler to that one, cheap from DHgate style, I'm only using it for dabs, herbs don't seem as effective with it though I will try more of course... Thinking the RBR style would be an even better small recycler option for these particular cloud connoisseur beasts... Been tempted to grab this one (purple below) lately and may be more motivated now, though I've got plenty of other China glass waiting for Halo & Atlas
These are two other colored recyclers I got recently, the green one has a different perc (slitted fountain disc instead of inline) but function is pretty phenomenal, both are not bad at all for $33-43, one above is like $85...
These too, the tall straight fab FOL perc from CaliBear on the left cost more though it is very nice, mouthpiece has too much draw restriction unfortunately... I have another milk blue color that is 14mm straight spiked tube with little inline that also isn't ideal, but a taller 18mm straight spiked tube with cube perc is incoming and that should be ideal for Halo / Atlas I think! The blue silver fumed rig on the right has a slanted upwards facing inline perc under the pillars, I also have a clear silver fumed version to see what's going on though it's not as pretty:
I've also got FC-Mod base can with circ perc, HydraTree and HydraCirc (double filter action or I have a footed j-hook) along with my still top performer, old reliable inline honeycomb rig for ideal performance:

I actually have that biao RBR clone, and while it is excellent for dabbing, I cannot recommend it for vaping. It requires a lot of free flowing air to keep the circulation for the vortex. Usually the vaporizer adds too much draw restriction for the proper function.
It's still fun to try them all, and can add some nice variety. Your last pic is the best type for the halo since it is going to be used as a hard hitter by most I believe. I tried going lower voltages, but I keep going back to one hitters with it.

Just something simple like the inline grid perc @Shit Snacks showed or I really like the SoL lace sphere. It produces vapor almost immediately so you don't have to have a slow draw like some of the vapes that lose heat retention quickly. Probably what's more important is having lots of volume if you're going for a single hitter.She’s a beaut on the nice glass.
The recycler is not the best for it, but I am an experimenter. Recycling retains flavor better than diffusion which is why it's preferred for concentrates. It really amplifies the halogen flavor moreso, but it's more of a constant hit than fill up the chamber and clear type.

Just for the record, it is a side slitted inline below honeycomb perc, not a grid matrix perc (vgoodiez has a new inline grid matrix rig now though also circ perc version, they seem pretty great for $75, though yeah a little on the smaller side) and that makes sense about the volume, that SOL must go smooth, I like the FOL though the mouthpiece ruins it a little and the egg changes things... @Improvaper I bet the halo rips through your tall FOL with the gooseneck mouthpiece!
Oh interesting, I don't know why I always felt like a recycler was worse for the flavors with more diffusion, but what you described makes sense considering yeah it is inhaling constantly all the vapor instead of filling a chamber, hmm I'll need to experiment using herbal convection vapes with mine more again!
Ah this green incycler below is still a recycler too right, maybe it is the way to go for some nice flavorful Halo use actually?? Since it is a little larger, taller, yeah maybe it's a good idea after all...

Water circulation offers the cooling without the bubbling which I feel can affect flavor a bit. I have a leisure incycler I do like to use with vapes but it is more like a bubbler than a recycler if that makes sense. Just a lot choppier and less airy. Sorry for all the terrible descriptions that barely convey a point.
Anyway, I've really been thinking about adding a ryedeyer bongcycler to the family which is an odd blend of both. Part of me thinks it probably does not work as well as a regular flower piece or recycler on it's own, but it's too damm creative to not want to try. He seems to always be in high demand. Imagine hitting the halo on that!
