Vapes R Great
It’s an XL. I wasn’t sure if my MVS would fit but it does. This things a show stopper no mater what I pull out of it.

how are you loving the MVS?

she’s a heavy girl compared to most regular Dynavaps but I haven’t used the new omni since.
probably going to buy a new XL futo stash for mine too. Need a stash for every one, lol. SAS stash acquisition syndrome!

Love it. Fit and finish is top notch and it performs as advertised. It is chunkier but maintains a premium feel. I have the 2021 Omni and I would recommend the MVS before the Omni 21 or 17. The MVS air control is more elegant making it superior.

I love sharing my dynavaps with friend but noobs are forever fumbling the airport. With the MVS I just close it off, tell them to hit it like they would a joint, then back to the turbulent setting for me. I like the whoosh sound it makes.

One of my older caps has a reduced click noise. When shaken, it's noticeably fainter than my new captive cap. Is there anythihg I can do to it or just retire it? I've combusted a few times due to not hearing it properly...not myself, the cap.:brow:

Seems caps develop their singular characteristics “over time”.

While it is possible that there may be a speck or residue under the discs that is muting the click (have you tried torch cleaning the cap?), you should “over time” have build up a collection of TEDs. Just swap it out.

Its an unpleasant experience “over time”, otherwise? YMMV 🤗
Or get another cap. Well worth the few bux.

Everything is finite. Caps can be too.

Really enjoying this set up. Spiked stem with air hole, Omni 2021 tip, low temp cap and my modified dynastash to enable this to fit (added small piece of oak and sanded stash to be more comfortable).
I use a single flame prince pocket torch.

Also have bb6, bb3 and Orion. I find glass much cooler and for me, tastier....

My @Sneaky Pete half-bowl converter is out for delivery. I’m really excited about getting this regardless of the snarky attitude some have about it.

I’ve been looking for a solution to easily set the CCD since ‘17. So to get two for under $25 is a steal and they’ll outlive me.

I’m going to put one in my Phat Piggie and one in my MVS.

I’ll report back after they arrive.

@Chicken No Name can we see how you modified your stash? Big fan of glass stems, myself.
No worries. I simply found a block of suitable wood, I used done oak I had but more exotic wood be good. Measure to ensure correct for your stem and cap length....

Glued onto end, cut excess, and sanded till I was happy with the shape. Drilled down existing entry taking care not to drill through haha.... Oil a few times and revel in your workmanship.

As it's glass inside I kept the depth to exactly the total stem depth so it's s snug fit and I'm confident nothing will break ....

I absolutely love my MVS, gets used every single day. The Omni '21 has become my outdoor vapcap, just because I really don't want anything to happen to my MVS.

I just love the feel and taste of it so much. Really a fantastic vape

Sadly I am finding several of my caps are being dented by the pressure switch on my Pipes IHs. That reduces their clickability in sound and function. If I were to replace one of the IHs for some reason, I think I would look for one with a different trigger...

Damn, I almost forgot this was coming.

Own the Vortex and Stinger and both do their job admirably. Just wondering if the MVS is a noticeable improvement in cooling or experience and worth the upgrade? Thanks.

They are very similar if not the same I cooling. I have both a Vortex and a Stinger too. I like the MVS more purely because you can close the airport off. I like the weight and feel of the Vortex more but when it come to cooling all three are very similar. With that said, you should get an MVS. 😂

I wanted to add that this problem likely only applies to his older units. On the current line Pipes has changed the trigger to a flat button that shouldn't dent the cap. Gonna have to make some changes to mine to resolve my issue but I haven't yet gotten to it.

Bought a high temp, food grade cookie sheet to mod the buttons on the PSM and Cauldron. The wife found it and won't let me "destroy" her new cookie sheet. Have to draw the line somewhere, this women has to go.

You only need a tiny bit from the corner, right? Cookies don’t go to the corner of the sheet…

I have given away 3 Vottex that I loved and now I have two MVS and a Stinger. The Stinger and Vortex are very similar. But the ability to customize airflow with the MVS’ airport makes it abetter IMO.

Both are better than any Omni I’ve had, but don’t know about the ‘21 Omni. At this point the only Dynavap stems I use are the BB9 for concentrates and a CF stem with custom metal blue Ti tip and a Stinger.

I just got my second MVS. I put a ‘20 SS cap on it and it’s by far my best Vong.

I’ll put a half-bowl converter in my other MVS with a Ti tip for quick hits when I’m out and about for native use.

At this point Simrell and Phat Piggie are my go-to stems with my Stinger CF stem for cleaning days or travel.
