ZAM Grinder

To be honnest I use mine more like a jar for grounded flowers of different strains although if I have to take a grinder on the go it is the Zam. It tends to be easily clogged if you use resinous moist flowers, the dryer the better for the Zam. Yes there is always some ungrouded bits stucked in a few holes, with a toothpick I push them back in the grinding chamber to finish to grind that bits. A little issue for a lot of convenience on the go!

Hello everyone,

Black and blue grinders soon to be sold out! I'm placing another order soon, ETA is ~ 45 days.

I'm releasing a new product soon (2-4 weeks hopefully). It is a stash case designed specifically to combo a ZAM grinder with a Dynavap. I'm announcing this a little early because of how much I'm liking the prototypes. De-cap, de-bowl, re-pack & rock & roll.

These will be 3D printed at first. Expected retail price ~ $30 +

I'm working on getting wood versions made. Expected retail price $45 +

There will be a very limited quantity at first to test demand. The current ZAM stash will only fit standard 92mm x 10mm Dynavaps. Larger model stashes for larger Dynavaps will be introduced later.

A shame I saw this cool grinder only now. Looks great, seems to have everything I want and need for my dynavap collection. I especially like the de-bowler option. Nice work Zach! Keep it up.

Haha yeah, I clicked through and checked before I responded, no connection to Delta 3D (who is seriously awesome people!) I don't know who this other dude is but he seems very small potatoes, and our industry is small, plus 3D printing files are often shared, so whatever I think in this case, but yeah I would also feel defensive over Zach's generosity and genius designs!

Placed my order! I have been looking for a portable debowler/stash container for my Tera and Dynavap. I like saving my avb, yet always felt that was the limiting factor in enjoying portable vapes! Hopefully this will fit in nicely with the use case.

You made a good choice, i find the ZAM to be the perfect dynavap companion. Definitely needs both inserts - I get why they're sold separately, but this grinder is far better with them. The form factor makes grinding comfortable despite its narrow size, and grinding directly into the stash jar is super convenient. Since I use the insert in the lower portion, I carry it without the kief screen which makes the whole thing just a little bit smaller, which is nice.

I don't recall if it's advertised as such, but the PTFE ring around the middle makes the magnetic closure surprisingly smell proof!

Had my first long out-and-about day with ZAM yesterday. Loved having the multiple small compartments this grinder has. If you smush nugs between the teeth and use the debowler for storage, you can carry small nugs of 5 different strains on the go in all the lil compartments it has

Please forgive me, but I'm perplexed by that picture of the astronaut on your tray. Why is the tube attached to his helmet coming from the bowl. Shouldn't it be attached to the other end/mouthpiece of the of the bong? Otherwise, how would that work in it's current configuration?!?! What is the astronaut getting from that?

So, I guess he'd be exhaling something into the bong's intake. But what and why?

Worst customer experience I had in a long time. My unit broke 1 month in, still waiting for a replacement and the manufacturer went silent. This is dragging on since Nov 2019. Awesome way to waste 50 bucks.

Ok, I obviously haven’t gone silent and you’re issue is with my first batch from a year ago when I was using aluminum 6063, which I quickly fixed.

Furthermore, any person that contacted me about an issue with the first version was then recontacted and given a new grinder from this batch. And as you said you’re talking about the 2019 version.

It honestly took me a while to get the new batch, so I’m sorry about that. But saying, “this has been going on since 2019 is a bit misleading”. I only received the new batch a couple months ago.

I can confidently say that any person that has contacted me with an issue has been taken care of and no one has contacted me about a replacement only to be ignored.

I mean there is literally only one person I’m behind on, must be you, and that’s because the package got held up by USPS and I haven’t managed to call and ask about the package yet.

Please PM me your order number and I’ll get things taken care of.

Yes that is me and I am just astonished that you manage to write more than the last year combined, so this just underlines my experience. In fact you do not follow up on your promises and I am tired of running after that. Keep my money, keep the product, take my review. I am done with this and hope you can step up your game so your future customers do not have this experience and I will be literally the only one with this issue. One thing that is quite questionable to me is, you can come up with new products and such, but can not do customer service. I figured it is just reasonable to let others know about that.

@MonkeyTime, the teeth started bending after a month of light use and then broke off, all the outer ones of in the top part are gone and the others scrape against the remaining teeth in the lower part of the grinding section.

but others seem pretty happy with this grinder. Manufacturer said your package to be stuck at Usps... so try to be nIcE and wait, Zach will take care of you. Remenber it's a "one man company" and things are going slower than for big shops. The unit I got isn't the best grinder but it's very handy and functionnal as a "on the go" jar. I understand your pain and the issues you got but trying to be nice will help you better to solve that warranty issue. Be nice and vape on!
