I got my dishes from 2 separate 3rd party retailer's, sic from tag and quartz Halo from dnail.

Edit: ordered the dishes for 4/20 and they flew through customs, got them days ago. I was really surprised to hear you hadn't gotten your order yet :( Your going to love it! It's so powerful but so controllable I've never combusted in 2 years and my regular temp was 666 but I played with temps up and down a fair amount as well.

My VRod is out for delivery today!!!!! Should be twaxing and relaxing by the end of the day. Looking forward to some dead simple dabs tonight and a few bowls of flower, thinking the high 500's for dabs but I might as well break out my thermocouple and check the dish temp.

I’ve tried searching through the thread and I’m sure I’m just missing it but are there suggestions to replacement screens other than from CH? For both glass bowl and the regular one. Are SS ones safe/okay?

DHL botched the delivery so I'm not going to get my VRod till tomorrow hopefully, this is the problem living in the boondocks. I'm not going to go off on a big rant about DHL and their failings , My weedeater has got me lifted and tomorrow is another day.

I’ve had mine for 10 days now and it’s a machine. Everyone here says 666 but I have been having success with 737 with the Auber. Fly High :brow::nod: Fast consistent extraction.

Maybe I just have a different definition of “fully extracted” :shrug:

VRod initial thoughts and sessions. My package arrived this afternoon! Thought maybe something was missing it was so light? Is it my memory or have auber's gotten smaller and lighter than 2 years ago?!? Whatever, seems like a improvement so this is not a complaint just my own curiosity. Decided to see exactly what the carb cap can do for extraction? Loaded .05 of skunk haze in my glass bowl, capped and got everything that temperature has to give in one hit, I know because I tried a second and got nothing, over a minute later between hits because it just tasted so freeking good 😋 I just couldn't believe it at 570! Capped and it's so smooth like breathing fresh and flavourful air! I ate a firecracker and took my dish's temp and it said 420f so I took it as a sign 😇 got one super flavourful hit that seemed to be everything that temp had to offer, in fear of burning my dab I quickly dry qtiped but I see now my fear was unfounded and when I tasted the dab it still tasted good so there's something left. I upped my temp to 600 and tried again and got a density I was more familiar with, taste was good but not as nice as lower temperature, second hit was whispy and I thought that was it done until I noticed the auber was powering down 😝 I cleaned up and tried again same temp again and got one good hit and one starting to taste done hit that high wise is worth taking. Seems to me my ideal temp is somewhere between 570 and 600, looking forward to discovering where. The night is young...... okay so it's the afternoon LoL even more time to play! Still so much to try!

That's some nice dark brown almost black ABV. I have a ton of the stuff saved but it's much lighter brown. Now I try to get it darker and I just throw it in the trash. Everything the ABV touches though it makes it stink pretty damn good.

What’s everyone’s current favourite glass piece to use with their flowerpot? I’ve currently got a double matrix and a mobius sidecar but wanting either a Grav upright or the rbr recycler

I originally was using the taller straight tube glass piece that they used to sell on the site. I like it but it's a bit of a chugger and makes a lot of noise. I still use that piece, but with no water, and a ash catcher. Works well.

I had an older bent neck with a nice matrix perc that I got from TAG. Had that one in storage for a while but I brought it out again about a year ago and have been using that 90% of the time. It's nothing special, probably cost me $60-$70, but I do like the matrix perc.

I'm always on the lookout for new glass to pair with the V-rod. I would like to get a nice sidecar piece and maybe one of those GooRoo 3-piece bubblers. Those look interesting to me. Great thing about the FP, you can change the vape just by changing your glass. Just a great vape all around.

Pretty much how I've always rolled, being a micro doser and lazy I want every single bit of my meds and not to have to do something with the avb later LoL

now that I'm a avid temp stepper with my tinymight and my Bowle I'm coming at my Flowerpot different, seeing what else it can do. And a capped VRod is something new and interesting along with the low temp dabs! Switching from sativa to indica as we move into the evening. It has just a hit of a taste of metal in the aftertaste of the hit but the will quickly disappear as it anodizes.

Can't seem to find a full manual online for the rdk anyone know or how to change the auto off?

I would have just cut and paste the instructions to do it but it's not allowing me to.

That’s a lot more reasonably priced than I remember the dnail version being many many pages back somewhere. Can’t remember how much it was but remember thinking it was too much :lol:
