Does anyone have a link or information of what the tinymight uses, medicinal parts, grade metal etc? Compared to other vapes 👍

Sorry to go off topic all, but this may help other new vapers.

In this industry...if you can call it that......there is no regulatory organization or rules for the most part. Getting any manufacture to state an actual raw parts list and MSDS info.... does not exist. You can not even get most of the producers to tell you exactly what the crucial raw parts are in many cases.

You have to make decisions on your own and take the chance medically. Or, use vapes with as much glass as possible. Stay away from inhaling anything from other sources of the bowl and vapor path. The heater elements are the other half of the equation. Glass, Ti, SS, Ceramics are good elements for safe vaping.

The only thing we should be breathing is country air. Even city folks have black shit in their lungs from all the pollution.

I think this medical thing is cos of the mighty getting it's cert. People read it and think it's healthy. Whereas, it just means it can be used in a hospital and it won't interfere with any equipment.

It’s been days since TM responded I submitted a return ticket yesterday.

come home today and there is a BRAND NEW UNIT ON MY DOORSTEP!! Now I have 2 TM one for parts and hopefully this second doesn’t smoke when I charge it oh wait. I got external battery charger not even gonna try I wanna see what the hype is about and rip this damn thing.

so to put everything in perspective:
Order date: 12/11/20
Ship date : 12/18/20
Received broken unit: 12/22
Emailed:12/23
Sent videos of the issues he never actually responded after the second and third email.
12/30: replacement received.
I’m in US.

That's awesome service. I have been wanting a TM. Today I looked at the website and the "Buy now" link is broken though. However, it just seems like it's a vape riddled with problems. I don't want to have to fix it right after purchase. For the price I don't think it's a unreasonable to believe it should work out of the box.

„All the pollution“ is quite little compared to something like smoking. Just saying. To exaggerate parameters in such a way that they can not be discussed („only country air is good for you, everything else is poison”) makes any discussion run into a dead end instantly.

This thread might create the impression that a TM has to be disassembled, folded over and / or reprogrammed to work properly. That is not the case at all. I own and use my TM for more than a year now every day, never had the need to fix something. I'm pretty sure that's the case for most TM users.

Today I looked at the website and the "Buy now" link is broken though.

Huh. Works for me.

I did pathology at uni and dissected cadavers, the city folks had lungs similar to smokers, the country folk didn't.

And I read it on the medical certification they have released.

I don’t have a TM, and I’ve bothered some people before by saying that I think certain parts and design choices in the TM weren’t thought out and tested well enough, but I think it’s rare for them not to work out of the box and most people don’t seem to be having any real problems with theirs at all.

I am afraid that certain things like the little metal tab that’s part of the circuit under the top piece will become a more widespread issue over time, but at least these contact issues can be fixed by users.

Because of certain design choices I don’t feel like this is the most solid device out there, but I think that sometimes this thread makes it seem like there are more problems than there actually are, especially because a lot of the people who were having issues couldn’t get ahold of support for a while.

I’m still hesitant to recommend that the average person check out the TM, but I think Ville has been making some improvements to the build and support has been getting better, so while I know there are still some issues to resolve I would personally be okay with buying one now.

If you’re not though, I get it.

That sounds a bit weird as an argument, but anyway: it's also not a good argument to have a discussion. „Don't even try, everything will kill you.” Which is true, but yet very wrong. This started as a question about the materials being used in the TM. Your point serves little purpose in that regard.

And I read it on the medical certification they have released.

Could you give us a link?

I was and still am very average with little experience with other vapes (after all), and was even more when I got my TM about a year ago, it was also my first true convection vape and stem based device. In real life the TM is supereasy to use and also very reliable – as you wrote, the one thing that makes any issue much much worse is the lack of customer service. It's a huge difference when a problem occurs and gets solved soon or when it takes weeks to even notify the company about it.

So the one thing I recommend is: don't make the TM your first and / or only vape, make sure to have a fallback solution like a Dynavap – to be honest, I actually recommend that with most devices.

I got the link to work. Didn't know this vape costs so much. $293.70 with 1x long tube, 1 extra cooling unit, and an o ring pack. Anyone saved any money on this?. Any coupons?

I was responding to someone who said the whole medical thing was crap. And it is. The only thing that should go in our lungs is air. Everything else is up to you whether you think it's worth the risk or not.

We knew that. I still think some things make a difference, and that's why we are here.

Do you have a link that states that the S+B medical certification actually refers to their devices not affecting other medical equipment?

The price is shown right next to the items – you don't have to buy all the extras, the only must I see is the o ring pack (one cooling unit and a short stem is included, maybe even the o rings, not sure). That will bring it down quite a bit.

I don't know of any coupons.

The certification doc used to be on the S&B site, but I know it disappeared some time ago. Just look up the iso, should be in there.

Since most people still smoke or have barely tried a vaporizer, the “average person” I was talking about was not the average FC user but for example someone who signs up to ask for advice on buying their first vaporizer.

I feel average here too, but everyone who spends much time here knows a lot more about this stuff than most people do. :)

That’s pretty much my standard for sending people to check out the TM too; if they have backup options and they’re aware of the potential issues then it’s at least worth checking out because it’s clearly one of the best convection portables out there. :)

Hm. Okay. :-)

That's pretty much what I had in mind too. One of the (very few) devices I owned prior to the TM was the IQ by DaVinci, and looking back I had a ton more troubles understanding it and making it work properly compared to the TM. Cleaning was a nightmare too. I don't think the IQ had the image of being not suitable for beginners – the TM is so much more reliable and easy to maintain and use. Beside the cs issues (again: always have a Dynavap at hand...) I actually think it's one of the most beginner friendly devices on the market today, esp. considering its performance.

Nah I got it working. Now I'm contemplating ordering because of price. Oh well I just placed my order. I've been waiting for a long time to get this. Hope it's worth it.

You don't have to go back very far at all to find people getting units. Company still exists, it's just run poorly.

I too was refunded my money initially, I was resent a PayPal thingy Bob to resend the money.
So should I try to reorder or is there a chance my original order might go through.

Got my TinyMight pair’d up with a custom rbt drydrotube. Works great for max cooling without water. A good alternative for anyone interested is the new cooling pieces from 508 phineous with female joint and vigreux pattern . @Shit Snacks posted up in a couple other threads too..for those with the rbt short stem this is great cooling solution. I picked one up from VGoodiez and am looking forward to testing it out as it’s shorter than my current and likely will cool better bc of the vigreux design

Nice, looking forward to what you think of it, I am curious of the mouthpiece, looks a little wider than the RBT one? Still bummed I broke my green drydrotube in the beginning of quarantine, someday I will find a glass worker who can revive it for me though!

The only info I could find is that S&B is ISO 13485 certified.
Not sure exactly but I think this has to do with maintenance, spare parts availability, etc.

I'm like 99% sure that's the right iso. It doesn't say anything beyond that the device won't give you cancer or interfere with shit. I have, well had (gave it to a friend when I got my milaana), a mighty. I'm not trying to start a witch hunt or anything, I'm just trying to say that maybe this "medically safe" thing is not something we can quantify yet. This is the first time on this forum I've seen someone want a break down of components and what's "safe", but I see it a lot on Reddit.

Edit: this has kinda gotten away from me and I've been drinking a bit. We should be talking about the TM, I just was trying to say that the mighty having a med cert is making people look for "healthy" vapes.

I'm about to place an order with a TM. While I'm very satisfied with my Firewood 7, I still want to see what all the hubbub's about. I don't have severe VAS (though I purchased 5 vaporizers in about as many weeks after getting back into flower), but I do have severe FOMO. I'm terrified that someone, somewhere is getting a slightly better hit than me. I also suspect the TM will be easier for my girlfriend to use. Though I'll point out, the FW7 only requires pressing a button and holding it . From what I've read, it seems like the TM starts producing vapor a little faster, so maybe that'll help.

Anyway. My question is, does the long stem offer better cooling than the short option? Or is the difference negligible? Thanks!

Long stem is slightly better but basically negligible. To me I can hardly tell if its a placebo effect or actually making a difference.

To me, it is a bit more comfortable because your hand is a little further away from your mouth. But, its a little less pocket friendly.

I have them both and use them interchangeably around the house, but use the short stem more probably. Depends on whats clean or dirty

Been hitting the water today mainly the 18mm WPA and with the Delta3d baskets, I love how it’s a heavy duty screen and formed with flat bottom so you can fill it good! I also got TM and some similar to TM’s but these are so much better IMO.

Here is site if interested.

Did you get the 465s or 380s?
