There is a thread for it, a few users there. I think someone posted in the Tbucket thread about having one too as its based around the TBucket.

I never got the hang of higher temps, but what Zoltani says is certainly what I've picked up from this threads high rollers.

This. All set ups are different. Controller temps are merely an indication of roughly where the head might be and dont accurately indicate air temp or how all the other factors will interact to give different extractions.

Double deckers likely benefit from a fast draw, increasing temp for the concentrates (pressure from capping), and not allowing the hot air to hang around too long on the flower.

EDIT:

Sadly not, just the TBucket, but its the same core basics.
Yeah I haven't told the wife yet but I'm sure she's the scorcher she has a very soft draw. I'm more of a Hoover vacuum. Good luck trying to pull my carb cap before I think I'm good n done haha. This has been a reoccurring theme trying to find a spot that works for both of us. The highest I can push it with her is 625. When it's just me I like 650-660.

I use the auber rdk300. I've heard of boost. With taking the vacation when we bust the flowerpot out at night it's off to races I really haven't gotten to tinker as much as I'd like. I did not even know of boost button yet haha.

Look on the bottom of the Auber, and see if its got a 'b' version next to it. I think thats the updated boost mode version.

It's the a :(. Now I feel like I must achieve said boost mode. Going to a huge headshop in San Antonio's on this vacation, maybe it will be a my holiday purchase if they possess it. It's either that or some local blown glass, and definitely accesories. My state is not so friendly so I always enjoy the nostalgia of a giant head shop.

No, my 300A, is the older version. I have to send it in for the firmware update. For those that are curious, go to the Auber site, and download the PDF manuals, the boost mode is explained in those.

Thanks, I thought it was the B that was the boosted version, but lost my bottle being definite about things.

Definitive statements bring me out in hives :)

Ok for those of you who don't use the Carb Cap with their Vrod for flowers.. how are you milking up your glass? I have experimented with every temp from 550F to 680F and it's just too airy to milk the glass without it. I'm finding it absolutely mandatory to use it all the time. Believe me I've tried it without and I don't care for it it much.

Does the WeedEater really outperform the Vrod when it comes to ripping straight flowers? I would imagine the carb cap is even less necessary with the WE than the Vrod due to the fact it isn't even included in the kit.

I don’t think I could do away with the natural heat patina of the heads! Though your Vrod looks 🤩 . I’d probably do a bowl or carb. I’m glad your here @RedEyeFlightControl. I’d like to see and hear more about what you are up to.

I'm on FC, usually in the VapCap IH dev threads. I also do quite a bit of anodization with Dynavap's line of titanium hardware. I'm a nerd's nerd, a multidisciplinary scientist of sorts, and have a strong desire to curate the rare and exotic, the performant, and the artisan crafted high end vapes. I have bad VAS and a worse customization addiction.

I currently work with firmware, microcontrollers, Induction and circuits, resistive heaters, glass, wood, lasers, saws, 3d printers, lathes, sandblasters, ... all sorts of goodies!

What is an “Entgineer”? :)
An Ent Engineer :)

Hey!! I couldn't remember if I had seen you on here before or not. Hope you don't mind me sharing but I thought it was pretty unique and awesome

Glad you like it! I'm happy to see my artwork featured by others! It brings great joy to know others enjoy and appreciate the time it takes to produce this stuff. There's a few hours of labor in just the VROD for the prep and dunk. Probably another hour in the Summit Quiver behind it, too.... feel free to check my insta, it is where most of my public releases go, first.

I'd love to work a deal with NV to do some small batches but I'm not sure it's possible at this time, so for now I'm taking commissions. I'll have a web store up at some time as well which will offer a gallery of whatever flavor is fresh.

I don't use my card cap with only flower. I've been running mine at 635F. I can easily milk my glass by simply drawing slower.

Of course, I've been able to milk a medium size glass piece using only an MFLB, so I've had plenty of practice with super slow draws in my younger vaping days. That required SIGNIFICANTLY slower draws than this ever could.

We have been achieving the goal, big rips no scorching at 615 to 625. I turn on and let it heat sink longer now. When we dab the same time we will cap it real fast just to avoid pooling. My shovel head can fit about 3 good tips sometimes two if I'm feeling squirrelly. I feel like if I weren't dabbing finishing in one hit is very achievable with this. Everyday I love it more. Only had it for 2 days before I brought it across country. Going to do some ocean sunrise/sunset pics with the FP. Staying in an RV so using the FP and enjoying scenery will be easy.

Lately I have been cleaning my glass everyday or every other day. Just a tiny amount of PBW, add some boiling water, shake, rinse with more boiling water, and finish with a vinegar rinse followed by water. Makes my glass sparkle, PBW is magic.
Yes before this bong I have a female rig 9110 for newvape but break after clean with a wall because shake the glass to put out water. You can try use isopropyl alcohol with salt shake your glass and is magic
