It sounds like its time for a new battery. There's a link in my FAQ. My records show you've had it just over two years now. Since you are a fairly heavy user, I'd say you followed the rules fairly well.
To answer your question of doing anything different, kinda hard since I don't know what you have been doing so far...:ko:
The most important is to do the initial conditioning when new and maybe follow up with a full discharge periodically to keep in the best condition. Also, avoid storing at full charge. As in, if your planning on shelving for a while, take the charge down to a 50-60% storage charge. :science:

Interesting thought... a 2S cells would make a PSM a slow roaster. That's almost as good as a low temp cap! :mental: Okay, just thinking out loud again :clap:

Same here. I just got on the PSM list so it will be a number of weeks, but I have my beloved caldron until then. I need a portable unit for daytime use when the house can't smell like weed. Looking forward to vapcapping out of doors.

For me, one of the best features of the Caldron and PSM is how easy and inexpensive it is to replace the Driver Module assembly if there should ever be a serious failure issue. For just $35, a screw driver and minimal skills you can replace the whole assembly and be back in business with little effort. I could be wrong but, I don’t think that’s an option with any of the other IH’s out there.

It’s obvious that @Pipes has put a lot of time and effort improving these units over the years and the quality shows.

If the PSM performs like my caldron, and I have no doubt, it will be another match made in heaven. I was going to hold out for @Pipes next creation, but necessity and IHAS (is that a syndrome yet?) has gotten the better of me.

Compared to what I see in other brands, I prefer the tactile switch to having to press a button. You also don't need to remove a lid/cover to turn it on and off.

I’d probably buy one in a minute, but MY main feature is 3x 18650 battery driven model. I own a ton of those, and I understand from a makers viewpoint, LIPO packs are safer, and easier for users for a few other reasons. These IH messages TRIGGER me to go toss a VapCap into the El Cheapo Chinese Dental Wax Tool IH Heater, I blame you all.....

Here’s another great feature of the PSM that’s worth mentioning. Took the dog for a walk this morning. Had the PSM on my pants belt, via the small Mega Gear case mentioned on the previous page. With a dog lease in one hand, my omni in the other I was able to empty a bowl unnoticed while passing many others on a busy side walk. In fact, I was taking a draw as I was passing a neighbour and she smiled and offered a friendly suggestion that I should avoid touching my face. I smiled and nodded back.

I could be wrong again, but I don’t think the above scenario could have been executed so easily with only one hand available - or even possible - with any other IH out their. Of course I’m not advocating doing this, just simply pointing out the stealth factor possibilities.

Might as well get on the list now then. Only 2 weeks ago the wait list was three weeks. Now it's six weeks. PSM's are popular for sure. I bet there are a lot more people vaping at home right now. I can't imagine being quarantined without cannabis.
