@Planck while you are (brutally) honest, there may be a point to be made.

Since the company brought on new hands to an expanding enterprise, the R&D department
probably expanded as well, and it is also possible that it is now entirely in the domain of the
Young guns.

For the past few years, the incremental changes/improvements have not been monumental,
The spark of genius may have removed himself from that aspect of a growing company.

It seems almost parallel to the sea change Apple suffered when Jobs passed the baton to Cook.
Apple lost its genius, and innovative sparkle, with Cook at the helm.

Just some observations/speculations. Ruminations of an old dog.

why do you change your profile picture everyday?

I'll just buy non 20 tips and caps.

I understand, but don't agree with, your feeling about the styling of the stem. But I dont understand your dislike or dismissal of a tip cap you have most likely not even tried.

For the past few years, the incremental changes/improvements have not been monumental,

I would agree. The difference between 17-19 were 90% aesthetic. IMO, the 2020 "M" is a huge upgrade from past models.

On another note, I'm ready for self isolation/quarantine. Are you?

Plus, he may have a twist in his shorts? Or a short in his twist.

He may be a Canuck, you know.

(He does have a point)

RG, you my friend are going to need more than a roll if you are going off on a fortnight’s quarantine.

NEWTON was in his house during the disease of the century!
The “M” would be great during this period of time on this PALE BLUE DOT = EARTH?

I know I'll probably want the new tip, but think I would pass on the the new cap and body. With the cost of just a tip probably ending up around $35-$40, you can get a whole set up for like $20 more. Still, I don't think I'll use the M body and would rather invest in a longer custom or a vortex.

So I think I'll wait around for the 420 sales and see what shakes out.

95% of the time, i reach for one of my custom stems over the M stem.
I like a long stem thats slim at the mouth end and no carb. :brow:
I use the M stem if I'm going out and about, cause if I lose it or it gets confiscated I wouldn't be as gutted.

HaHa! @TommyDee I was just joking with my wife about what we had to trade or barter. She said she could knit some caps for people. I mentioned that the weed was virtually worthless because everyone in my neighborhood already grows. If i lived anywhere else I would be a rich man!!

And dont worry @stark1, I have another roll of TP :brow:

@TheThriftDrifter Vapor production is really good. My theory is that the fact that the tip is not round and the cap is loose, creating a lot of air space, allows the tip to heat up more slowly and evenly, heat soaking the load. I have noticed that it seems to take a little longer for the click. I'm finding that I'm getting big clouds with minimal browning and no charing. The same clouds with Ti seem to produce much darker abv in my experience.

Any impressions and feedback on the Dynatec IH (the Apollo 2)?

I have nothing to compare it to - this is my first IH. I've had it for about 2 weeks. I didn't fall instantly in love and I'm not in love yet. But, overall - good investment and good tool.

Still prefer my single flame. Most likely it's user error or learning curve. But, I feel the IH trades convenience for really dialing in the experience.

Does anyone have experience with the Dynatec AND other IHs - specifically side-by-side?
