String, the Emisar D4S is a burnin hot torch, hot enough to vaporize flower—one tuff torch. For flashaholics. :smug:

However, if it gets too hot to hold for long,
the two Dart carts on either side should do the trick, at 97% THC.

(As for the pen clips, I have a few pens with clips; others, I get from small flashlights (torchs) with
clips. I tend to lose things.) :cheers::spliff:

It does work out of the box, with SS and Ti tips. However there is a mod that DDave makes that is almost necessary. Without the mod you have to hold the tip of the Vapcap in the well of the IH until it clicks. With the mod you can rest it in the well.

I don't use the DDave mod. I love the option of the control of placing the tip as far in as I choose. That's one of the huge advantages (to me) over most other models out there (that use a tactile switch). If I am doing dip and sip, I don't put the VapCap all the way into the mouth of the SJK. However, on the first hit if the cap is cold, I put it all the way to the wall. You have total control over the click. Certainly no need for a special "cold cap" with the SJK heater. I have tried 5 of the available IH units so far. I got rid of all of them except the SJK.

Everyone can have a different opinion and the fan boys hate it. But if you buy one and don't like it, I'll buy it from you.

As for, "out of the box". I always cut the cheap plug off the end and put a nice plug on it. No soldering, just tighten 2 screws. And, I disconnect the fan also. The noise was annoying to me. Might not bother others. Make sure you get the 110volt model. they make a 110v and a 220v.

I actually need a 220V Version, I'll go with the latest 220V link recommended in SJK thread.

DV picked an existing producer to work with, support and give you a chance to have a DV authorized IH developed to work with Vapcaps now rather then later, how is that "so fucking lame".
