Worth a try.
@Jojo_Vivant do you have a recommended/authorized reseller in Australia?

Hahaha, we will have a code for Alternate next time!
We don't have an authorized distributor yet, but If you want to buy from there, I believe we have a few customers there selling some of our products already, or if you trying to sell there, please email us info@vivant.com, we will have our colleague to help you.
Thank you.

I am not sure this fits(doesn't the Crafty mouthpiece fit too?), someone else might confirm?
Thanks, the Mighty/Crafty WPA's definitely won't fit without modification because the tabs are too wide (just like the Crafty CU) The photos look similar but if you look closely the Alternate one has smaller tabs. Someone did post here previously they modded the Mighty/Crafty one and it worked out.

I also found it here for a great price: http://blitzedvapors.com/vivant-alternate-water-adapter/
but can't add it to cart (I send inquiry)

A little more money but I also found this one from delta3studios... not glass but apparently works perfect without modification (at least they're not mentioning anything about modding it)
Bottom Right photo is the same glass I'm using (Matrix Sidecar)
The bottom mounted display & controls will be a real plus using it this way!

I have the Delta 3d Studios WPA and it works perfectly with the Alternate. It was very expensive with shipping to Australia though.

Just got the nebula x, which seems to be the alternate but rebranded for Europe (France and uk at least ). 2 year warranty, firmware from the nebula website. Maybe @Vivant can confirm this ?

Ordered from amazon, My first step into vaping.

Hopefully it will be one of the good ones and I won't have any issues. Wish me luck.

That's our partner in the UK, usually, we offer 2 years warranty for all the products to our direct customers and authorized distributors, but this case is under Nebula brand, you will need to confirm the warranty policy with Nebula, hope you enjoy your first sesh.
The Alternate is still a good catch for beginners.

Hi All:
Seems to me that Vivant has "fixed" the mouthpiece issues with version 3. However the body is still made with a lessor grade of plastic Polycarbonate (lessor than the mouthpiece which is PAES). I keep hearing and reading that VA bodies are still cracking and some have "plastic burning tastes and smells.) Can anyone confirm if this the case and if Vivant plans on rectifying this anytime soon? Thanks!

I started using the Alternative by Vivant 2 years ago (in 2 days).
While I have in my drawer the V.2 Top/mouthpiece, and the V.3 one also, I am still using
the original top.
I vape with the alternative at 375. I have the draw restriction open all the way.
I use the Alternative about twice a day.
I keep hearing and reading that VA bodies are still cracking and some have "plastic burning tastes and smells.
I too have read of these issues.
I may just be really lucky.
MY Alternative never smelled bad to me.
No part of my units have cracked.
Can anyone confirm if this the case and if Vivant plans on rectifying this anytime soon? Thanks!
If you do not hear back soon right here, from @Vivant or @Jojo_Vivant .....
...shoot one of them a private message, they will then likely give a public reply.

That's great? What's the quality of the Vapour like? I am wanting to micro-dose small quantities in the bowl at a time. Is this possible or should I consider a different unit?

Thanks!

Hi guys, just got an error code 1 tonight. I wanted to check in and see if anyone here knows what type of Torx bit is needed to open the Alternate.
Hey @frankthetank420 you can use a T5 Torx bit to open the Alternate. Opening the device does void warranty. This is the manual and the error you are getting:

Thanks for the heads up on that. I have an older unit with damage to the top plastic area which I am going to salvage parts out of to replace the one with a damaged heating bar. Will post updates if it works.

So I ended up purchasing a new Vivant Alternate to replace the unit that was having the Trouble Code 1. The new unit has been functioning for maybe a week or so, and is now also showing a "Trouble Code 1" error and won't function either. I'm honestly shocked that this unit worked for such a short amount of time, is anyone else experiencing this issue?
