Long time, no post.
I see there's a sexy new M in town. I'm in need of a new Vapcap at some point and while the M's lovely, I was thinking of going for one of the higher end ones.
The newness is tempting, though... Any rumblings about changes in the Omnivap line?

Dynavap has enough of my $. I'm going to sit this one out while thoroughly enjoying my Omni XL with my Sneaky Pete Globe. And in truth-those are extravagant items all by themselves.
Two years today I started all this and I'm still at it.

@phattpiggie those stems are fantastic! The red acrylic is almost luminous, hypnotic. I have one of your squares in snakewood and I can say with confidence that your posted picture, though beautiful, cannot really do the snakewood justice. It has an absolutely mesmerizing grain.

@stark1 hahah no, I'm actually *only* Italian!
I took the name "Demiurgo" (Demiurge in english) from Plato's work "Timaeus", but yeah, he is considered an artistan-like figure!
The avatar comes from a "super long, detailed and thoughtful" google search ("200x200 pixel avatar"). When I saw this picture, it really stole my heart!
But honestly, I was thinking about exotic woods as well (saw some links in the LB thread), so I may go in that direction! (rip wallet).

You are correct , but I think it’s probably a regional thing , so some folks may not have heard the term used that way .
@stark1 , a Damascus stem would look nice next to that knife. I always wanted a nice Damascus knife , but there are so many fake etched blades , I don’t want to get burned ...

Actually, it’s deceptively tiny (yes, the knife), depending on where you get it, it is $70-$120, however.

@Hackerman Yeah, Vomero is the central part of Naples were wealthy people live, after all! My mother used to live there as well Good luck! It won't be easy to convince her! Neapolitans are reeeally emotionally attached to their city

I saw two putas fighting bare-ass naked in broad daylight about 30 years ago in Naples. I remember a winding road with caves that they operated out of? I just happened to be passing BTW
Also, a nice man sold me a "Rolex" for about $20, he even came to the bank with me to change travelers cheques.
Then there was the $30 haircut (lira were difficult to work with at first, I think there might have been an extra zero at the end... )
