@stark1 you make a good point about the new SS tip as a stand alone item.

I'm thinking about trying the new M tip on my Vong-the longer cooling time is supposed to yield bigger hits-and if I'm using my Vong I'm not usually micro-dosing so the larger bowl is a good thing. Then maybe put a Ti Tip on the M, cuz when I use natively I'm always micro-dosing.

Just got a 2017 M like 2 weeks ago but definitely will be getting this '18 M. Very sleek looking and I don't have the tools to file airholes into the 'old' SS tip, so this new one will be sweet.

Also, seeing @VapeFiend.com using the IH on their IG story... still excited for more info on this. I just wanna know details about price, and the battery it uses...

Thanks @Mr.Sifter I was looking for that and couldn't find it. I really dig it, and it was used in public too.

All I know is that I can't wait for the DV IH-it'll very much complement the M for when Keni B is on the go. My hands are recovering, and it's time for me to go play music for people-and I can't wait to tour with team Dynavap at my side.

The logo might be not facing the camera. Either way you might be able to get one without the logo if you email them and ask for that. Just speculation on my part.

Can anyone decode what the "double helix" on the 2018 M SS tip means? From the photo it's not too easy to see details, but to me it looks like the previous M tip but with deeper channels.

What is different from the old M?

I had an opportunity to try out the new 2018 M model Vapcap. Is it different than the original M? Yes, I think so, from a number of perspectives.

Asthetics always amounts to personal perspective, but I think I prefer the look of the new model and it offers a few clear performance advantages.

The stem sports vertical ribs to assist with twirling. They are placed perfectly to align where my fingers naturally grip the stem. Twirling is much easier over the smooth slippery polished finish of the original M.

The Dynavap logo is about half the size.

There is a deeper circumference groove aligned to the airport and a more pronounced cross hatch, so finding the airport is easier to find through touch.

The tip has been redesigned. It has a retro Jetsons appeal with its tapered fins and U shaped transition, similar to the 7 fin LE. I compared the heating and cooling speed with the previous M tip using the same cap. While the heating was identical, the new tip cools a few seconds faster.

The tip's exterior air channels have been split into two. Now this is where the magic is; this simple design adjustment provides much better airflow and the double channels look cool too! The entire tip redesign is an overall improvement in function and aesthetics.

I also found that the tip fits more snugly and secure in the stem. I switched it around with other stems and found it provided a tighter fit all around.

Overall, I feel that the 2018 M is an clear improvement over the previous model. As usual, George has made design changes that incrementally out performs that which came before.

Just got off the phone with my buddy who is ecstatic about getting a 'custom' Keni B vapcap. I just know he's going to dig the shit out of it. That's two down, and many more to go.

new M looks good, only thing that I would have like more is if they made it straight like a regular stem. Never was too fond of that little mp nub, straight stem would look so much better in XL configuration.

Yep, wish I had more of those around here too! I've gifted M's to the couple of close friends that love them, but we are hardly able to get our schedules together to enjoy our Vapcaps and each others' company. And since I live in a highly illegal place, it's not that easy for someone "old" like myself to find other partakers.

I just placed my first order! I am excited to see what all the hoopla is about. I wanted to add a stash but there are no XLs. I know I don't need it with an M but my next will be an XL and want both to fit.....thinking ahead! Maybe next Thursday will be a stash sale.
