Having seen that stand in person, I will say it is a "Mighty" good addition to this vaporizer!Dang, i'm going to have to get one of those funky stands one day
IDK, I broke a fin on my mighty and it only gets about 5-6 bowls on a charge and it's only 30 months old! So it's not perfect, lol.
When experimenting with capsules, I think I figured out why they sometimes leave behind a big mess. Partial loads are the culprit. Partial loads leave room to shift and mix a bit during each draw, so all of the bits get a chance at escape. However, when you fill capsules, shifting doesn't occur -- so only the tiny bits that are at top of load near the lid get through.
Perhaps thicker equals less hits, as with the capsule's added conduction, the herb is spent sooner (ergo bigger clouds)i agree with the bigger hits with capsules but i get less of them..is it because of smaller load? or just fewer bigger hits?? goddamn i love science time!! time to test...hahaha...oh yeah no mighty yet..she will.be mine again...oh yes she will be mine again...
...................................................................................................Still looking for some info on the Mighty's reliability, defects, possible maintenance costs, and customer service experience too if anyone has input. I have seen a handful of people vouch for the Mightys reliability, but also seen a bunch of people with complaints about it and the CS.
Hey all, I am looking into purchasing a Mighty. While I have no doubts about the great quality of vapor, taste, ease of use, etc. I am hesitant to purchase a $350 vape with known defect issues and sub par customer service at times. It makes me think I should just buy a CFX or something; although I have been torn between the Mighty, Pax 2, and Arizer Air (maybe solo).
A handful of people recommended the Mighty and vouched both for its quality and reliability. But, I cannot ignore all of the other negative reviews and complaints about defects and customer service.
I understand some defect issues may be a result of the environment it is in, how the user handles the vape, etc. And I understand battery replacement and some other repairs costing money, but if you buy a $350 vape and have to send it in a year later for $100+ battery repair, etc because it is not covered by the warranty; the cost of maintaining this vape could be pretty significant. Plus the possible hassle of dealing with customer service. Although, if you don't have to send it in, the $350 would be a great price for 2 years or more of solid or daily vape use.
I am worried that the Mighty may be comparable to driving a really really nice car – costs a bunch, has constant issues (possibly), but wicked nice. I expect some to chime in and say, “hey, if you can afford it why not buy it?”
I get that but I was just hoping to get some opinions on the Mighty's reliability and possible maintenance costs. I don't mind paying more for a superior product, but do not want to pay more than needed. Especially if there is another cheaper, but comparable quality option available with a longer warranty. But if the Mighty has improved quality control, reliability, and durability, etc, I'd probably go for the Mighty. - I am also aware the Mighty is a bit more reliable than the Crafty.
Thanks in advance for any input provided, I truly appreciate it. Just want to spend money wisely.
Keep the faith up in capsules, just as they keep the temperature up for you.
Think insulation ... doesn't sound as bad as conduction.
(and it doesn't start with the letter C)

Agreed! Get the Mighty.I will still think about which vape to buy (Mighty, Pax 2, Arizer) while I save up a bit more money, but I don't think there is any doubt the Mighty is the best quality vape out of the 3.

@Receptor, 30 months and 600 hours? Damn, I'd be happy with that. Is the Mighty your daily driver?
Not sure where you're getting your info from? CS is always right there, and the only issue (fins) was solved long ago. (I believe that Vape Critic review was from long ago, when they first came out.)with known defect issues and sub par customer service at times.
There is a two year warranty. This is one the most reliable portable vapes on the market. (I've had my Davinci IQ for only a few months and already have to send it back.)but if you buy a $350 vape and have to send it in a year later for $100+ battery repair, etc because it is not covered by the warranty;
A bit? How about 10X more reliable. I went through 4 Crafty's before getting a free upgrade to Mighty. I'm 10 months in using it as a daily driver.I am also aware the Mighty is a bit more reliable than the Crafty.
So happy you mentioned hard hash! I've been wishing I could try that in the Mighty. I started using dab in the Mighty with the padded capsules and it works great at 390-410. I read somewhere that you need closer to 500 degrees for oils; not sure if that's true, but maybe hard hash would work at 500. Hopefully raising the top temp is on the list of incremental improvements..the biggest negative for me is that it just doesn't get hot enough for hard hash (but it's fine with bubble hash) - I got a vapcap for that.
