On that note, anyone know where I can find the coarse screens online? S&B only sells them in a small pack along with the fine screens; I'd like to buy a whole bunch of just coarse screens, and can't find them in my local shop. Thanks

For me. the most "wide open" path is using the coarse screen and packing a full bowl (as opposed to using capsules or mesh pad and/or the fine screen. But, hell, they ALL work, which is why we love the Mighty. You just can't stop it or do it wrong (are you listening FF2?)

Well I ain't really gonna say look who the...

So back in the land of the living! Before what happened, happened, My Mighty had packed up, and I was left with my Crafty, which died two weeks later leaving me with fuck all!! But with the power of synchronicity, hear I am, back from the shhhhhh!!!!
And not only does my S.O. now have a brand new Mighty, but I have one too, kinda of a sad story, but legit all the same! But one thing I like about these two, is that unlike the previous Mighty these have a 2minute cut off, which I like! I also realise that the Mighty actually stands up!! In all the past 11 months I did not know that -fuck me!!!

I'm not even going to bother exalting the Mighty, cos I don't have anything new to add to that what everyone else already knows, which is, the Mighty is in the Big League, the Major League, the Premier League even, call it whatever the fuck you want, but The Mighty is in there, near the top!

Hi All,

Just got my 'new' Mighty in the post, but quite disheartened...

It looks like the seller has put a second 'original packaging' sticker over the first one which appears to be broken. To me this indicates it's a used unit. I've sent S&B an email to check how many years & months of warranty, if any, are left on the unit I received, thereby confirming whether it's new or used. Shame I can't use it when it's sitting right in front of me!

Also the serial number on the box ends in: XXXXSNLS, is this normal? If so, is this one of the updated units?

Thanks!

If it looks new it probably is, even if box has been opened you would know if it had been used by smelling the Chamber. Your warranty runs from 2 years from date of your invoice so I'd say you're safe. Go on . . . . Fire her up.

I haven't even opened up the box yet! I noticed the packaging stickers and decided it's best to leave it be for now. I'll probably wait for S&B's email and see what they say. Appreciate your reassuring words though, I do hope you're right.

I feel as if your unit is updated, still may be used. But I know they changed the serial number scheme after 15-20k.

Mine is:

"SN: MY011###"

Got May 2015 from a 3rd party so it's probably a early 2015 unit as they updated the autoshutoff/top around that time (may 2015) and mine has none of that cause I wasn't thinking that the 3rd party would be backlogged a bit.

Hope that helps!

That does help, thanks! Was wary of the SN, as I'd only seen digits before, but makes sense now if they changed the scheme.

Hi All,

I am not sure this has been covered, but I just found a convenient way to fill the dosing capsules. The dosing capsules fit perfectly in the center of the orange plastic storage unit that comes with the Mighty.

Just pop one in the middle and scoop some material into the capsule using the pick or brush. There is absolutely no spillage or overage and you don't need a tray or anything else to catch any material.

I find that I can put the capsule down almost anywhere to fill it; the main functional part of the magazine for filling is the clear cap. It fits over the top of open capsule and acts as a filling funnel. Or were you referring to using the clear cap as funnel when the capsule is in the center of magazine with lid on? Just seems like an extra step, putting each capsule into the magazine's center for loading.

Yeah, that's what I do as well. If you prepare a bunch of open capsules you can fill them all quickly. The clear cap then gets used to push down the filled capsule out of the storage chamber.

I was sceptic at first, after trying several strains with results underwhelming. That's until I loaded it with some G13 haze. It's as if the Mighty was crafted for it. Taste is better, thick clouds that keep me blowing, and effects are just perfect

Sorry, in my earlier reply to you I had misunderstood what you were saying. I see now that you talked about the filling tool, not the capsule magazine. I do see that using the filling tool like like could be convenient, but I stopped using the filling tool for the most part, so I'm filling multiple caps using a small spoon and the magazine lid/funnel.

I prefer the caps for efficiency and ease of use. But the pad works great too, and requires less advance work.

With the caps, the CU has to be cleaned more frequently because debris still enters it via the holes in the capsule. Not an issue with the pad, which keeps the CU free of particles. Otherwise, though, the capsules are superior IME. :2c:

If you use a fine screen in the CU you will not have to clean any more often. I also tamp my weed super hard into the dosing caps which results in a little longer solo session and less loose particles getting past the caps and even less past the fine screen. As a result I pulled out a 3rd of a gram of clean reclaim with a dental tool and when I popped the CU screen and scraped the chamber of its fine reclaim soaked plant material I ended up with a little more than an 8th of hash.

I think I lose efficiency very quickly with the fine mesh screen...or is it my imagination? Anyone else find this?

I have no issue using a fine screen but when it can't be brushed off easily I swap in a new one which keeps it working great if you don't want to clean often. Picked up 500 fine .625 screens. They are a little bigger so I just dome them after I pop them in.

I like to use a spring loaded bat/one hitter so with the dosing caps all open I can quickly fill a dozen. Speed loading. lol

it's funny with all the new junk that snb is coming out, still no water adapter for the mighty.. really makes me think what those guys are up to. anyways i kinda regret purchasing this product as i've had numerous problems with warranty. but with each and every vaporizer design, i see so much innovation for a much less price and begin to see how the mighty as a heat stick lacks in design.

Do you do any cleaning, burn off before using?
If so, what and how.
Thx

Hi,
I've had several Crafty's and a Mighty and one thing for sure, S&B are clean freaks. If unit is new and genuine I would not worry about it; they know their business.
If anything, set it on max temp and run it up (empty) a couple of times. I'd do this with c/u removed so fumes, if any, can clear. Do not take a draw until after this brief process. Enjoy!
