Yocan Evolve Wax Pen

Can I use them on Yocan Torch?

 

I push the button as I pull the vape up to my lips, and continue to hold the button down til I'm done taking the hit. No pulsing or waiting.

 

Just saw this recently on yocan's website, looks interesting. Shame they couldn't make an 18650 mod with a dab jar but I'm sure that atomizer with the airflow adjustment will be nice with mech mods

 

I just purchased a + on E-bay. Im assuming these are not knockoffs?? It was only $18 so I'm not that worried about it.

 

Are the caps the same as the Yocan Torch Caps?

 

hi there I just got an evic vtwo mini and I can't get it to work using your settings. I keep getting "protection" after a few seconds of firing. can you give me any tips? I'm using the evolve plus donut coil. do I need to set the coil type? I think I have it set to NI.

I just tried that and it still goes into protection. it will only work at 325f any higher will not work. but if I put in VT mode it works fine at 390f which is my usual dabbing temp. hmmmm

Does anyone know if the evolve plus donut coils are titanium or nichrome?

Cool this is my tocan evolve plus atomizer with donut coil on an evic primo. both temp control and wattage mode work great! I upload an tocan logo also!

whats the setting your using? ive got an evic basic (articfox).
wire: Ti or Ni?
watt: (mine is at 10w but i think thats wrong)
temp: 380

 

Hey bud, I just ordered the evic primo also, I have a box of donuts, but the donut, evolve+ battery was just giving me wispy hits. So we all have the same basic device, if you can please share your optimal settings as I'm brand new to mods. Ordered it from fasttech and expect it Friday. Thank all, such a great and informative community!

 

I prefer to use TCR 471, 20w, 390-420f but NI works also NI, 20w 390-420f also lock the resistance

also and I am online now to find what donut coils are the best for this mod.
All I have for coils are the ones from my Yocan Torch.
What setup do I need to use get & use these ceramic coils
on my new mod? A Yocan Evolve Ceramic ?
I'm coming going from a ccell cart I filled with
distillate & a small ccell pen when I travel out.
I want to dab mainly shatter with a little distillate
drop on top in micro doses mainly.

If I just want to do micro dabs which is better the Evolve at $14 or the Plus at $20?
The Donut coils are also less and take same caps as torch?
What do you think is better for small 1 hitters with less clean up?
Not interested in battery, will be using Evic Two Mini to power.

get the evolve plus. honestly i can load a BB sized dab in there and hit it throughout the day and not have to refill it (i cant take huge hits or ill be coughing all day lol)

but if you're not gonna use the battery then just pick up the mouthpiece and some donut coils from vacavapes.com

 

That's what my plan is. I have a very similar mod showing up soon, evic primo mini. Basically they will serve the same purpose for what we are using it for. I have the evolve+ and the battery works fine with the dual quartz coils, but the taste degrades quickly with the dual quartz coils becasue too much of your wax seem to turn into reclaim, unless u load the proper low amount like a bb and no more. The stock battery does not work well with the ceramic coils I get on eBay vacavapes. So I agree, just get the mouthpiece evolve+ kit and ceramic buckets and let's dial in our sweet spot with all the suggestions in this thread. I'm happy to share once mine comes in, late this week or early next. Also, I smoke cigs and plan to stop and switch to vaping. I'll refer to other threads for that, I'm sure there's plenty! Time to unleash the evolve plus as another user put it so well!

You say the ceramic coils have problems with stock battery?

I maybe can use the battery on my Yocan Torch.
That gives me 2 coils & a cap.
Got 5 ceramic coils no caps coming for $12
Will compare them to Ebay ones for $16 and report difference.

Does anyone know if the original Evolve Ceramic coils fit the Yocan Torch?

Has anyone here tried rebuilding a yocan coil with a kanthal wire? How do you go about rebuilding the coil? What tools do you need? I've heard bad thing about nichrome and want to see if i can make my own coil heads with kanthal wire and stainless steel wire etc.
