I'm happy to report I've yet to have a thermo nuclear meltdown of my unit yet. But there's always tonight. Oh happy days my friends.

Lord knows I've given it my best shot over the last 4 1/2 months, V-Rod, but I'm still unable to tear a hole in the universe with my 700-watt weapon of mass vaporization. In fact, I've had zero issues and 100% pleasure.

I'm unsure exactly why some folks aren't keen on the 700-watt thing, apart from the obvious fact that using more watts = using more electricity and therefore more expensive to run while it's running. I know next to nothing about electronics and such, so keep that in mind. But, like V-Rod, I'm a special forces expert at using the vV in the field, and it produces excellent results all around--results that easily compensate for any extra cost, which I'd guess to be minimal since it only runs during my session and I don't think it uses all 700 watts the entire time (~10 minutes). Heck, I wouldn't care if it used 1.21 Gigiwatts--the vape is stellar (and it certainly sends me through time ).

with 700 watts available i imagine it changes temperature instantaneously (almost) -- even a 50°F to 100°F change. i throttle my vape to keep it at 15°F per second but i think it can do at least twice that, and mine is running at only 70 watts (max).

It appears you'd know better than I, Hippie, but when I change temps with the vV during a session, I can confirm it happens very quickly.

Anyone have the vivape 2 lol was searching around and noticed a couple sites are now selling it as the vivape 2.
Heres some of the listed imporvements. I love my vivape but this kinda bums me out.

New enclosure and visuals
Updated glass-on-glass heating element
Updated touchscreen LCD control
New internal heating temperature control
Improved dual voltage 110/240 filtering and operation
Full international certifications

Vaporfection's website mentions nothing about an upgraded vV. I bet those other sites are simply stretching the marketing to sell units. How crappy.

As far as I can tell, the viVape released recently is the only one. There is no viVape "2," unless I'm missing something.

Edit: I see it on Vapeworld's website, which is surprising since they're solid. Maybe Vaporfection's in fact upgraded it... But no mention on their website, so I'm inclined to believe there isn't an updated version. It's possible...

Anyway, I think I'll use mine right now!

There will always be a version 2 on mostly everything we buy in life . eg i-phones
But that doesn't mean the original version is crap . eg volcano classic

And when you break it down ( new improvements )
It's all very subjective and loosely described .
Updated glass-on-glass could mean they are purchasing from a different glass manufacturer .
New visuals can mean a newly placed sticker on the unit ? and so on ...

But I do like a company that listens to their feedback and is trying to improve on their products .

OTOH I'm kind of when a company comes out with a version 2 this soon. It makes me think there wasn't enough thought put into the original version. A good example of this the Extreme, where the original version was quickly updated twice, with heat sensor being moved closer to the bowl each time. With that one though, no version numbers were used, which just made things worse for buyers.

@vapinghole: yeah i didnt see anything on vaporfection or gotvape, but vapeworld, and vapornation and at least one other are now selling the vivape 2, which is why I asked.

@poonman: of course theres gonna be a second generation and i never said the original was crap I was just curious if anyone had the new one so they could take a picture or something so us original owners could compare since all the websites use the generic stock photo. Also I think its great they are improving but i feel it was in poor taste to upgrade and release this quickly, especially snce the mivape is still no where in sight.

Another question for you guys... 1) has anyone bought replacement parts for the vivape through vapornation or know a reliable website that is selling them? My valve to fill balloons broke and vaporfection automatically charges 19.99 shipping for the 12.99 -2 pack of valves and i can not find them anywhere else.

Hi Mynameismud - I've ordered replacement tubing and screens from vapeworld. They have a Vaporfection section, but last I checked it didn't have much. While I haven't purchased parts from them, I just saw this on Vapornation.

My 5in AV tube with the 5 holes broke off at the base after about 3 1/2 weeks of use. Now it just rattles in there, still works, but rattles. I set it on the table and came back shortly after, and when i picked it up, it was rattling... Talked to CS @ vapornation the next day, nice guy, actually had his own AV, but said Vaporfection likes to take care or their own warranty claims.
So I just got off the phone with Dan @ vaporfection, another nice guy, and he was quick to offer a replacement and offered my choice of size also. I got to chat with him about their heater cores for a while. Interesting stuff, I may have to stroll through this thread when I have a chance, and keep an eye out for their portable. I also heard the AV is hand blown here in the states, which I was unsure of.
I know this isnt their AV thread, but I this is more about the great customer service than the product of theirs.
Keep it up, vaporfection, it says a lot when you stand behind your product!

Damn, now I have another vape company to look out(read threads)for.

Hey Vapinghole, would you mind taking a picture of both of your AV's next to something like a cell phone? Ive been thinking about adding it or possibly a bubbler to my vivape but not sure what to get yet. Thanks

Also just would like to share, Dan from vaporfection just contacted me and offered to take care of the shipping problem I was having in their store. Dan if you read this, thanks and I appreciate it but I already bought some through another store. It would be benificial if you guys offered usps or a cheaper alternative for accesories because 19.99 to ship something that fits in an envelope is ridiculous. However, I am really pleased with the vaporfection customer service and them going out of their way for me even though i didnt contact them directly, just thought id share this experience.

Also If your out there dan or anyone from vaporfection, I think we would all appreciate if you could comment about the vivape 2 as there is nothing on your website, but other sites are marketing the vivape 2? Thanks again

I first got the Plenty,then the MFLB wich lead to the discovery if this exceptional forum board! I just love FC forum!!! And reading about the vV here got me really interested and thanks in part to Vapinghole very enthusiastic comments i succumbed and bought one three weeks ago. And man,i so don't regret it!

I also got the large AV and loving it! I go mostly with the whip delivery but i load a balloon from time to time for fun. I also started to experiment with temps and have fun doing so! I want to learn more about different herbs to vaporize and their effects. In fact,i'm totally taken by the whole vaporization world,wich i just discovered weeks ago. Now i just find out about concentrates and essential oils...

I love my vV very very much! I'm using it three to five sessions a day of +- 15 min and i only have good things to say about the vV. Keep in mind that i never owned a vaporizer prior to six weeks ago. But a friend of mine own a iolite and a Volcano for a year so i know at least a little about vapor. I'm not saying the vV is "better" than the Cano but this little vV is so sexy and satisfying! Different i would say... I just love everything about it so far and i really hope that my love story with my vV will last!

Now i can't wait until Vaporfection release the miVape. I know... I've read the stories. But it don't keep me away from wanting it. Blind love you say?

Welcome, ugobo! I'm so happy you've discovered vaporization and, further, that you're enjoying the viVape! It's sexy indeed!

I have and very much love other vaporizers listed in my signature--and I LOVE your signature, by the way. Love it! --but my heated (pun intended) love affair with my vV remains firmly intact after almost 5 months and a shit-ton of use. It's just so damn easy to deliver a variety of experiences, all thoroughly tasty from beginning to end of load. I've still only used my whip, as shown in my videos. The bag thing...well...it just isn't my bag.

Yeah, I'm also immune to the negative hype surrounding the miVape. When it's ready, it's ready. And if it delivers like anticipated, I'm buying the fuck out of it.

Keep us posted on your vV experiences, and feel free to share a vid/pic or two as you progress.

I forgot to mention your videos Vapinghole. They were of great help when deciding to get the vV or not. Thank you for that...

I just started to vape at low temp (340f-360f) with my viVape and just love the flavors! I'm very impressed by the results.The high is smooth.I found out also that the physical down that usually come afterward is mostly absent when vaping at 340f. Well,that's the impression that i have. I'm trying it right now. Just before going to work!

We are always looking for the most efficient way to ship accessories to our customers, but please keep in mind the $19.99 shipping and handling fee is a flat-rate option - whether it's one item or 10 items. The handling fee accounts for our warehouse costs when an order comes through - pick, pack, ship. This is a sufficient fix for now while we look into an even more beneficial shipping cost, but we appreciate your feedback!

Regarding the viVape 2, we've just finished production - and yes our distributors have received shipments. It will be reflected on our site shortly, hopefully by next week. Just to touch upon one of the comments mentioning concern for the 700W power capability, as CentiZen mentioned it is referring to 'peak power,' meaning the unit is not always running at this wattage. Having the ability to tap into this wattage for startup of the unit ensures the target heating temperature is reached in a reasonable amount of time, not to mention ease of use and shortened waiting times when wanting to switch from wand/whip mode to bag/balloon mode for a bag fill in under 2 minutes.

^^ bummer, vivape 2 is here before the mivape 1...I have been waiting so long for the mivape, which was one of the main reasons i ended up buying the vivape. Now i may end up just waiting to buy the mivape, since the mivape 2 will probably get released within 6 months

Yup, my first replacement they sent me a while ago died four days after i got it, i turned it on one day and it got to about 150 F and then just started to decrease and then after that it would not go past 90 F. Had the 24 hour replacement and didnt recieve the replacement until about 3 days after they got it.

However, i have had my 3rd one since february and it is working great!

Wow... Those storys are scary! Mine is working perfectly since day one and i hope it stays that way a long run...

A word about cleaning the whip. I took Vaporfection's recommendation to boil it for a couple of minutes but the results were'nt very good. I don't know if it's has been mentioned but what i did is i then took the hot whip out of the boiling water,remove the water from it and carefully take both ends in one hand and fill 1/4 of the whip with ISO and run it carefully in the whip from one side to another a couple of times. Discard the ISO and look if there is still fibre material stuck in the whip. If so,repeat the process from the boiling water stage and it should be completely clean by then.

Same here. Happy with my vV 1st generation and glad Vaporfection improved on it.

I'm not concerned about the timing of the vV2 release--I got my vV1 in early Feb and can't imagine it getting better, but good for those folks who will soon own the upgraded unit.

Alas, I cracked my glass wand, but luckily I had already procured a spare anticipating such a stoner move Cracked wand still functions, as the crack is on the inside, but I've switched nonetheless. I need another wand in case I crack/break this one too.

Love my vV. Excited for their portable.
