René , I haven't told you this in 6 mos. but your brilliant design & craftsmanship of vapman is second to none. Simple and sexy with the ability to taste things that compare only to my Herbie, same church , different pew.
The Heating Station really perfected the entire experience for me. I thank you again. Be well.

The workday is over and the rest of the family is asleep: a nice opportunity for a sesssion with the Vapman. I wipe the pan and the screen after every use, it's part of the Vapman ritual. Not only keeps that the vape in good condition, it's also an excuse to admire the craftmanship.

Well, the basic version is obviously still high quality....
but the wood that gets a special finish (classic version) looks and feels better in hand.

After using the basic pear for a few weeks the wood started to look better though or maybe I just got used to it. I'd be hesitant to buy a Walnut-basic next time... because i'm happy with the Pear-basic... not sure if i'd like the walnut as much.

For the past month i've been trying to find out which one i like the most.
My torched basic pear or my classic pear.... and it's hard to say.

    Both vape hash just as good and I love the added smell and taste of the charred wood;
and I feel safer taking the Vapman Basic outside cause there's no mica that can get damaged.

So I will probably stick to buying Basics in the future myself.
    VapMan's are the best.

I cleaned it up carefully with a piece of a "steel wool ball" used for washing dishes,
and the vapman's been working perfectly ever since. Thanks for the tip.

I'm not sure whats better, precharring it the way I did it or just letting it char naturally over time.
If it's pre-charred you can use it in a stealthy way immediately without giving off a burned wood smell (like toilets for example ;-) ).

    Hello fellow Vapman-ites

    It's been a while!

Just thought I'd check in to share a little Vapman love.

My Little Fella is still my go-to vaporiser... I wouldn't be without him.

I tend to use my Walnut the most.... as that's my herb one, I keep my pear for solids.

They are still both looking great, even after years of use..... thanks to Rene's fine craftsmanship and the use of high quality components.

Anyways, Happy Vapmaning to all you lovely folks.

    Stay beautiful :peace:

Hello my Vapmen(Vap-persons) I was cleaning my Vapman as I'm sending to 420 vapezone as a gift and the acetone really cleaned out my mid section that had years of buildup in it. The only downside is that it made the wood look very "chapped" looking and after applying some dynawax it looks as good as new.

Maybe @vapman should sell some finishing wax to help your lovely wood vapes stay looking new!

    Always 420 in the 204!

Is anyone else not able to place an order on the Vapman website? I see the products but there's no longer a way to add them to my cart. . .

EDIT; Opps I see now that there's a note at the top of the product page that asks you to email in an order. . .

I am going to be bringing these to the North America. Any requests? Are people more interested in full kits or do you need accessories?

Excellent news! Aside from the Classic Pear and it's Basic brother I think you should stock exotic stems. I think folks would want to 'upgrade' theirs in this simple and satisfying way. Concentrate screens should also be included since few think to order them with their unit?

A couple of fancy wood models, as well as a couple of laser engraved ones, are sure to 'prey on people's minds'. Once I started thinking about a walnut one (a favorite wood with me) it was only a matter of time until René got some more of my money. VM is the kind of product you don't regret buying.

Congratulations, great call. It's a small market compared to some other vapes, but you're in position 'to own it'.

@VGOODIEZ awesome that you bring it to the US!

I enjoyed a session with the Vapman about an hour ago and came here to "rant" about how criminally underrated it is and that it really deserves more attention. :myday:

To me the Vapman is like sipping on a good glass of top quality whiskey: I sit back, relax and take the time to enjoy the nuanced, rich and delicious taste of the herbs. And you don't need much flower for great effects, which makes it also a very cost efficient vape.

I'm more of an on-demand type of vaper, but even then the Vapman is one of my favourite vaporizers.

Good deal folks. Thanks for the feedback. I put a small order in for now (I'm still growing here so have to be careful). I did ask for some accessories.

Rene and I go back a little actually. I have been wanting to bring the vapman to the US for a while but it wasn't in the cards with the other situation I was in. Now I control it all so it's time to make the move. And the etching is a great idea. I have some ideas there and may reach out to our local guy who was doing that before (someone please remind me who that is). And I already have stems in the works. I sent one of my personal units off for @khelek41girl to have some fun with. I am anxiously awaiting her ideas and creations. More to come.....

This is a fantastic idea! It's too late for this year, but how about a "Canada Day Commemorative" version? July 1, their 'Independence Day' from the Mother Country. A custom Maple (extra credit for real Canadian Maple) with engraving including the Maple leaf.....and both languages, of course.

As a Yank, I'd probably want one having visited in the past. René would probably have to put on a second shift to meet the demand........

    Regards to all.

Hey @VGOODIEZ I believe the guy you are looking for is m0j0 http://fuckcombustion.com/members/m0j0.18017/. But it looks like he’s been MIA since last September. Good call on picking up some VAPMAN’s to sell even after all these years and my GIANT vape collection I still love using my little Vapman.

    @VGOODIEZ

I'd also be in on a custom unit etched, engraved, whatever.

You know, last I checked the laser engraver needed to do this was $400 from dozens of sources (probably less by now?). All using the same basic laser (40 or 50 Watts IIRC), mirrors and printer mechanisms. For $100 or so more you can get a 'rotary stage' to do round things flawlessly (you only use one axis of the printer and rotate instead of moving the other axis.

So I'm thinking for $500 or so, and a bit of learning, our new found friend could offer truly custom units...... That is you could provide a XXX by YYY pixel image (by email) to him which he could 'wrap' around a VM in your choice of wood? Halftone photos included.

    Food for thought.

Happy weekend to all our readers, wherever you are.

$280 + $48 shipping. Not cheap but I love me some halogen, its crafted by hand and a good quality desktop is going to run in that range anyway.

I believe it's cheaper or about the same price as the musa? It's a bulb vape but in Log format. Do you know how they compare?

I just had a very, very satisfying and rewarding session with one of my Vapmen, together with the station.
Always astounding how far just a little can take you. Love it.
    God bless René @vapman. :)
