    What I just tested.

Pre-heated @ 3 o'clock. 3 ELBs loaded 1/3 full. Unplugged/started timer. Stepped out into a very sunshiney day ambient temp 68.9 degrees. @ 1 minute huge cloud. @ 2:30 loaded next ELB and pulled @ 3:00 minutes, huge cloud. Loaded next ELB @ 4:30 pulled slower @ 5:00, huge cloud. Ran inside to fill another ELB and discovered I am fucking destroyed. Ran back out popped ELB in very slow draw @ 7:00 and got that very tastey warm blue vapor hit, exhaled pulled again same thing. Sunshine starting to have an effect up here in the clouds.....

Obviously different ambient temperatures, pre-heat setting, how one hits and multiple users all come into play.

This is awesome. I didn't even think to crank the temp up to keep it even warmer for longer. I unplugged at the 12 o'clock setting and got a few pulls off of a 1/2 filled ELB. Maybe about 2 minutes of heat that would produce vapor.

Are you getting one huge pull off of a 1/3 full ELB that spends the entire load?

Pretty much yes. I tried to pull from each when back up to temp and blah...when I ran back in to fill another I didn't have a 4th readily available and from my experience the way it dumped pretty much tells me it was toasted too.

Its a fairly standard cord right? Hopefully like the kind I have sticking out of a lot of old electronics so I can just put a cord in lots of different rooms and just move from place to place...

So, I tried the 1/3 ELB with the heat cranked to just before three o'clock. I pulled hard and fast to get a huge single hit and it kicked ass. I need to try even less.

This machine continues to impress me. I didn't know what I was missing.

Yes. It's what they call an IEC C13. Standard 3 prong power interface. I replaced the stock cable with one of more an an appropriate length but more importantly one more flexible so when you move the cable you're not moving the feather weight Evo around. The local used computer store has gazillions of them hanging on the wall and I'm sure I will find and even more flexible/softer cord.

Choice of colors and any length.

What?! I don't know how much this weighs because it won't even register on my scale. One big rip.

The first night when I went nuts with this thing I had a highover the next day. That's the first time I've had a highover from a vaporizer. :whoa:

Glad to see the Evo working in the wild with concentrates w/o the forthcoming attachment. That was a concern prior to launch.

People getting ripped on .2gs in ELBs how is your tolerance in general? Is 2.gs the same you use for other vapes by comparison? I guess the question is, even with high tolerance and extensive use of other vapes, the extraction in the Evo is that much better that you're getting more effects?

Someone with first hand mini ELB/TwoCaps1Vape method please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you can also use those Q caps that PlanetVapes sells? Are these ExQ caps the ones that work? (top)

I'm sure you could do something with these two pieces, but the thing is, the EQ screens pictures above are similar in size to the ELB, not the ELB cap. In fact, these are slightly larger than an ELB in diameter, and need to be trained like ELBs do. I find that using one EQ dome screen, and one ELB cap is the best combo. IF one wanted to make a MiniELB out of two EQ dome screens, they would have to first train one of the dome screens in their cloud, then follow my technique to invert the bottom of the other dome screen, and then manipulate it by hand to make its diameter a little smaller, so it will fit into the other screen, yet leave room for product to sit freely.

    "Here are some pictures...
[IMG]In the picture above, the top two squares show a regular ELB cap and the bottom two show an Extreme Q Elbow screen. Notice how the diameter of the steel rim of both bowls is the same, but the EQ elbow screen is slightly larger in its capacity, due to design.

In the picture above, the left hand side shows a regular ELB cap on top, and on the bottom, the ELB cap that I inverted with the sharpie. The pictures on the right hand side show the inverted cap as well. To get the cap to look like this, set it upside down like the cap in the top left of the above picture, and take the end (not the end with the cap) of a sharpie, and push down in the center firmly. You can push and mold the edges to fit into the EQ elbow screen better.

There are three reasons for inverting the cap the way that I did.

1, it makes the cap more shallow, so it doesn't push as far into the bowl(EQ elbow screen) leaving room for medicine. you can't really pack meds in the EQ elbow screen, and put the cap in, unless the cap is inverted like shown above.
2, it leaves room, so you can pack a shallow bowl, as shown below, or a full bowl, as the medicine can go up into the underside of the cap.
3, it makes the caps diameter slightly larger, allowing it to fit snugly into the bowl (EQ elbow screen)...it won't stay in the bowl at all otherwise.

In the picture above, you can see the assembled Mini-ELB (EQ elbow screen+mangled/inverted ELBcap) with a regular ELB/caps for comparison.

And in this final picture, above, you can see the MiniELB loaded, and in the Cloud."

I'm certain with a little patience, you could accomplish the same thing with just two EQ dome screens, but it seems easier with the ELB cap and 1 dome screen, as the ELB cap is already smaller, and once you inver the bottom of it with a sharpie, it pretty much fits snuggly in the trained EQ dome screen, and leaves plenty of space. The "Two Cap" method would be more appropriate for sandwiching material together tightly, whereas the MiniELB is a smaller ELB, that still has open space.

Edit* sorry to keep littering these pictures/info in these threads repetitively. If needed, please delete, etc. I just felt some still weren't understanding the process/idea behind it. I apologize if it's out of place.

I was using more than .2 in my LSV WPA, but I find I feel more effect from the EVO. I believe the extraction is just that thorough.

Yes. I am finding the extraction to be a lot more thorough than previous models. I guess its that beefier heater and/or the lower placement of the restrictive orifices.. This thing gets the job done. I'm settling into a single draw then dump routine and it's working out nice so far. Love how light it is and how manageable it can be.

Yeah to me, it's like this: you can get pretty messed up by getting hit with a 22 over and over, but this feels like an up close shotgun blast. And then another, and then another, as you work your way up the dial. Like people mentioned in the Vapexhale thread, vapes like the sub and vxl seem to allow more to cross the blood brain barrier at once.

    1 hour, sir.

Edit: I'd also like to note that mine does not turn off, it flashes and the heat lowers, but it will just continue to flash. I'm not sure if it will just keep flashing until the user flicks the switch, but mine has gotten very cool without me noticing and I either turn it off or just flick the switch off and back on.

It be cool if some people could list the size of the pieces their using. I wonder how big a piece the evo can fully milk.

The fritted bubbler in most of my videos is a 60mm can and the height of the area above the frit is 6". The EVO is milking the AC, the large downstem that penetrates the frit, the can, and the long mouthpiece.

I believe that I could milk that bubbler and a bubbler of roughly the same size on a long pull from the EVO, probably even more. It is a beast.

With a new heater and the PerpetuHeatingSystem 2.0 I can confidently say that the EVO will not be the limiting factor, it will be the lungs of the inhaler. You can try for yourself and just have 4 or 5 of your buddies just hit the EVO back to back. The temperature will maintain and the only reason you will see thinning vapor is that the herbs will be running out of content themselves.

Your unit actually is turning off, everything aside from the lights to indicate that an hour has passed, and that it is in standby mode.

The Auto "shut-off" was never actually a shut off in the sense that it turned the Cloud completely off...But it did, (and still does in the EVO) turn off the heater, completely. It doesn't just cool down, it is off, and will cool down completely if left alone. The only difference between "off" with the switch, and the "standby" mode that the unit(s) enter after 60 minutes, are that when you turn the unit off with the switch, the lights go out too. All Most Cloud models have had a flashing pattern (similar to the EVO's) that indicated that the period of time had passed and the unit was in standby mode. As @t-dub points out a few posts below here, some Cloud + models did not have a light pattern to indicate the standby mode, and alternatively, the lights just went out in those units after the time was up.

I can't see this being anything but true, as even with previous models, people used to endlessly milk tubes, and pass the things around circles with no issues! This thing has always been a beast, and the EVO can only be better!

Anybody get so ripped that you forget that there's no ELB loaded and you take a full hit and get really confused? lol. It's happened 3 out of 3 sessions for me since I always take ELBs out when idling everything. I'll probably develop some ocd checking behavior if I continue to do this.

I only use on the weekend, and right now I really want to hit the EVO. I don't even necessarily want to get high. I just want to take a milky rip. :haw:

I'm getting the same can as @Deadshort480 - can't wait. To the posts above, I'll reckon I can connect my hydratube to the fritted bub and easily milk the whole thing. Probably wouldn't be an everyday setup but would be fun to try.

To anyone with concerns about the heater being able to maintain temp, or produce massive vapor...This is what always comes to my mind when I think of big hits, and what the Cloud (and inevitably the EVO as well) can really do!
Three pieces being milked to capacity, and beyond! (talk about Iron Lungs)

Also, where is @Slightly Medicated anyhow?

This is not exactly correct. In some Cloud+, like mine, the flashing Christmas tree light show at auto shut-off is not present. The Cloud just goes dark. I'm glad they put the flashing lights back . . . :)
