... quite impressed, i pulled the trigger friday and received it yesterday(monday)

i really like this vape! i can see the need for more ELB's!
The bowl being a GonG, or the bowl fitting inside the GonG (not sure how to look at it) is pretty kick ass!

Also pulled the trigger on a hydro tube which is pretty neat... even though i have Kathys hydro tube on its way...


... my only complaint is minor... it is the auto-shut off. I'm going to have to change my ways with the evo.. normally i leave my units on 24/7 so whenever i'm in the mood my vapes ready to roll!

I went with it too, plus the standard mouthpiece in case I want unrestricted airflow. I have nothing to compare the hydrahoney to since it's my first real piece of glass but it's become my daily driver - which I had expected to not be the case. I was anticipating I'd primarily use the standard. I'll eventually get some more glass but until then I'm quite pleased with my selection!

I also saw a website called VaporSeller.com that has them for $260, but it looks like it won't include the neoprene sleeve, or the concentrate attachment. I also think its the older model, because it just says "VapeXhale Vaporizer" it doesn't say "Cloud EVO" on the page anywhere; which makes me think the price is too good to be true..

I think I might go with VaporNation because they have two VapeXnails instead of 1, but I think they'll charge me taxes too because they're shipping from the same state (Cali); whereas I'll avoid taxes completely if I order from PlanetVape.ca because they're in Canada.

Take a couple hits at 11:30-12 with the standard for some delicious flavor, replace mouthpiece with my bomb, crank it to 1:30 and rip it hard!

So versatile with glass...I don't think I'll ever need another vape.

I'm getting crushed by hand torn nugs in the ELB. I am in complete flavortown. However, I'm still getting nice clouds of vapor. I'm not even sure I need to stir for a complete extraction at this point, I probably will though just to be safe!

How are people using theirs for herbs?

I tend to leave it for a few mins - to hottest temperature, then wait til it's warm.

ELB loaded 80% full, really fine grind - and herbs left out to dry first.

Any way to upgrade this? Is a fine grind a good idea, or is coarse better?

You don't want a fine grind, it clogs the mesh screen. You also only want to load the Elb with 50% or less. I personally only load it about 30% for even heat distribution throughout the load. The EVO does not need to be loaded with herb it only requires sprinkles for maximum output. The airflow shouldn't be to restricted by the load. You can also start as low as 9-10 o'clock for maximum flavor profiles.
@montreal you should probably load less concentrates into the nail. I only get one hit per nail, anything remaining is only residual burn off and taste horrible.
I also dab on MAX temp. The EVO has a max temperature of 500° so max temp is an ideal temp for dabbing. My Vapor Brothers VB2.0 dabs at 950°+
My DNAIL1.3 with Liger will only get as low as 575° with SiC insert. So i think the EVO is flavor city. I've dabbed with the EVO on 12 and as low as 10o'clock. Flavor was super but effects left something to be desired. Hope this helps! My herb temps are based on the strain of herb. Since I have dedicated dab setups, when i do dab out the EVO, max setting is still about 80° less than my normal low temp dab!

My EVO is coming tomorrow. It's coming FedEx and requires a signature. I'm taking a personal day off from work tomorrow. Had the day coming anyway. I see if i went with USPS ( more expensive ) I could have requested that they leave it on my porch because I'm either home or get home right after the mail comes.

I'm not sure the time FedEx comes? On the email it said sometime before the end of the day Tues. On Saturday while shopping I picked up some OG Kush shatter to try out with the EVO. I have a nice selection of flowers too.

Yes, I got my newest vaporizer yesterday the EVO. I tried it out with flowers first and with the regular mouthpiece and I really enjoyed it.

I ordered a couple days before the free merchandise so I was a bit bummed there wasn't any extras. My bad timing I guess. Later before bed i tried just a bit of the shatter that I had. I just tried a tiny bit. So after just a couple draws the dab is spent. I just put the nail in a tiny glass with ISO to soak overnight. I will have to buy an extra couple of enails because I can see myself breaking them.

Overall first impressions with flowers was wonderful with the regular mouthpiece. I really liked the Hydrobomb too. At $100 I will have to be careful I don't break it. Something that cost $100 will break just as easy as something that cost $30. All it takes is one slip late at night. @ataxian I will have to be extra careful.

I will need to try out the nail a little more. I thought cleaning the nail quickly was difficult. I felt like it needed to soak. That's why I just tried it out with only one dab. We should get a couple nails with our purchase is my thought.

I understand why they do it though. Some areas have gotten a lot of packages stolen. Many people have video cameras and security systems. Awesome , those nails do get dirty quickly , I did the same , through it in some iso right after my 1st vapor dab , it did not clean so well. Still has black marks on it but i'll use it and eventually grab more in the future. I have not tried the stock mp but I really like using a whip to my glass , I get huge clouds. I don't have a vxh ht but have some dhgate's I don't really like with the Evo. So far inverted or using the whip kit works really well. Glad you got it safe .

I wish more Baskets and Nails were included also.

I destroyed one Basket already.
My nail is a dirty mess.

It does taste really amazing so that part is in check.

To clean the Vapexnails people turn the unit to max and let it self clean. Also good ISO soaks

It is signature required, yeah. I've been sitting around my apartment all day waiting for FedEx to turn up and no such luck yet. SIGH. It's nearly 6:30 PM where I'm from so I'm starting to feel a bit impatient, especially since I've had difficulties with FedEx deliveries in the past. Waiting and anticipating is by far the worst part!

On a more related topic, does anyone have advice on how to clean a hydratube with PBW? I'd really like to give my current tube a very thorough cleaning and I want to make sure I'm able to keep the new one in tip top shape! Do I just pour in some ISO and a spoonful of PBW and shake it up? My only concern is trying to get the PBW itself in and out of the various chambers that require cleaning...
