Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

I only tried it once with my last 18mm water pipe before I sold it. Let's just say I got about the same results with my Plenty through glass as I did with the E-Nano from Epic Vape... It just doesn't work.... and yes I've seen the videos.

I found when it comes to lung capacity, my HoneyComb HT doesn't require the same lung capacity as it does to pull vapor from glass with the Plenty Or E-Nano in my experience. So from my experience using a HT is almost the same from the old tried and true glass waterpipe. As long as you had no problem hitting bongs before, I think you should be ok.

But yeah, I removed the coil and inverted my plenty into my Bong and I honestly could barely get a cloud. Not sure if it's my lungs or the fact it wasn't really a good connection. I did use my Plenty once on Sunday Night and while it is a weed hog IMO it did get me Plenty Medicated.. it really never disappoints.. until I realize what I put in there could have lasted me two sessions instead of one If I chose to combust it or even use the EVO. Hence my only issue with the Plenty.. The size of the herb chamber.

But back to the EVO...

I was actually able to get decent clouds with the plenty in a bong. It probably was the connection. With a bit of electrical tape around the nozzle it seals well. Too much and it's difficult to pull out to clear a hit. I was using it dry though in straight tube without the downstem. I also put water in up to the bottom of the glass joint for a more direct air flow. That made a big difference for me. Without that water it didn't hit as well with that empty space.

These reviews about the new glass are a shame. I've had my Hydrabomb and Evo for about a month now. I managed to get it at the reduced price just before the general decrease. I think I have the older glass as the print is gold rather than green and black. This vape seriously blew everything else I owned out of the water. I mean really. It's fucking awesome, anyone who owns one will know what I mean. Just the biggest, smoothest, nicest tasting hits ever. I would say this and the Mighty are all you need to have everything covered and reach vape nirvana.

... so trying to decide whether to pull the trigger, but reluctant cause of all the problems and complaints people have in this thread. I'm trying to quit combusting, but it's really hard. I'm just not satisfied with the effect of vaporizing long term. I've owned an eq, verdamper, and plenty and sold them all. I've used a volcano a fair bit, tried a sublimator and didn't like the draw restriction. I currently have the mighty and vapman... but still combust more than vape even though I'd rather not. I've taken tolerance breaks, then try to exclusively vape for as long as possible but always go back to rolling one up.

I'm looking for opinions - is the evo the vape that's going to get me to quit combusting? And is it worth taking the chance considering all the problems people are having with vxl? I'm in Canada too so it'd be even more annoying to have to send it for warranty. I don't wanna end up in a feeling like @Socks And Sandals. 22 days is a little ridiculous.

If I wasn't satisfied with the plenty would I feel the same with the LSV? I'm wondering if I'd be better off just picking up a lotus and/or lily? Less buyers remorse if I'm still not satisfied. I just wish I could try the evo before buying it.

I appreciate any comments or advice you guys have.

This video is interesting, looks like the new hydrabomb rather than the old one.

Also this video looks to feature the new hydrabomb as the emblem is green and black and not gold, yet the can looks large. However the perc looks worse than the original one.

If you're having trouble quitting combusting after using the Mighty, maybe skip the Evo and try a Daisy/Lily... you're still addicted to the nasty shit in combusting. I don't think the Evo will convince you, it's too clean. I'm willing to bet you like the groggy effects of smoking more than the clean high of vaping. This is where you need to change your mindset about getting high more than the vape you're using imo. How long can you go without combusting?

@Bunless or what about a log? LSV can be a beast, otherwise some upcoming portables could be able to do the job too imo (not that Evo necessarily can't btw)

Ah goddammit... all these issues with the new Hydrabomb has definitely got me worried. I wanted to choose the HydraHoneyComb, however it's sold out.

I just ignored everything I read here... and chose the package with the Hydrabomb. Here's hoping for the best...

IMO, if you use the EVO at high temps you can melt your face and it is very akin to smoking a bong. I get quite stoned using it like that.

I'd say bump your temps up in general if you feel less high. Also takes your body some getting used to, but consider high temp vaping is closer to smoking, then you can gradually work your way down. Idk though, you may have tried all this you seem to have had some experience based on your post, jealous I've always wanted to try a Sub

Yeah, I do like the groggy stoned, punch in the face high from combusting a potent kush. When I first got the EQ about 10 years ago I used it exclusively for about two weeks, then went back to combusting and never touched it again. When I got the verdamper about 8 years ago I used it exclusively for a little over a month, then went back to mostly combusting but still vaping once or twice a week. Got the plenty 4 years ago and vaped only for about a month, then back to combusting mostly. It's been the same with the mighty. Now after a few days of using the mighty I go right back to combusting. I use 1g-3g daily and combust 90-95% of the time unfortunately.

I'm probably gonna pick up a daisy because I like the vapman still. I was gonna get a lotus too, but from reading that thread it seems to have more drag than I prefer. Anyone know any other options for the daisy beside vaporstore on ebay? Vapefiend in the UK too, but way too expensive with CDN $ exchange rate.

If the verdamper, plenty, or mighty haven't been allowed me to quit significantly cut down combusting, I don't think a log will do the trick from what I've read. I think it's gotta be the evo, lsv, or daisy.

Yeah, I've tried highest temps.

Imo you have nothing to be jealous about. I didn't enjoy the sublimator at all and would never drop that kind of cash on it. Too much drag, just a head up high with no body effect, missing that feeling of relaxation, went through too much material and that was on my first try with a potent diamond og kush.

Potentially yeah, but Plenty and Mighty don't impress me personally (only tried a Volcano though), dont know verdamper details, but yeah I wouldn't count em out (also Zion some day... maybe GH? the future may save you too, but try em all man!)

Had a very nice call from Colleen (sp?) at VXH who is going to have Jeff get a return label out to me.

It's going to be funny (in that special way that just makes me mad) if they beat Vapornation with the refund.

EDIT: (Update) They already got a shipping label out to me and I've dropped it off at the USPS office. Score one for VXH customer service.

When did you receive your hydratube and when did you order it? I'm trying to get an idea of when I will get mine.

I ordered it last Wed and received it today. I am all the way in CA, however, and it ships from PA, so if you're closer it may be sooner. (EDIT: and to be clear, it shipped out the next day)

Regarding combustion at 3:00: this has happened to me twice. I don't really think it's a defect, in my case, anyway. The first time I thought that maybe the velcro strap on the cover was blocking the air intake and that's what caused it. It may have, but it happened again recently with the unit naked and the intake unblocked. Both times the unit had a hell of a heat-soak going, though, so I've just adjusted. That last hit was always fairly nasty anyway. Now I simply top out at 2:00 instead of 3:00, unless it's just been turned on, perhaps.

Ah okay. I'm in san diego so I guess it will be a while. Sucks that they made me pay for two day shipping and its been 4 days since I've ordered and it hasn't even shipped yet.

I had to pay $25 for shipping because it was the only choice. It took 11 days to reach me in a major Oregon city via UPS ground. When my replacement hydratube was mailed, it took 7 days via "express two-day".

Are you sure they specified 2 day shipping? I thought they were just jacking up the shipping prices to make an extra $10 a unit. When I sold my first EVO, it cost under $15 to ship it with hydratube via USPS and it was delivered across the country in just 2 days.

Yup I'm positive. If you go onto their website right now and look at the deal on the evo it says "all items have projected shipping date of Friday December 18th and will be shipped with 2 day shipping" Shipping cost 35 dollars no matter where your address is, and yet its been 4 days and it hasn't shipped.

It sounds like the projected shipping date for everyone is now tomorrow, December 18th. As long as they ship via 2-day and it reaches you by Tuesday it seems they are fulfilling their commitment.

Of course, it still sucks that you have to wait until tomorrow for your unit to ship AND pay extra when 2-day shipping won't even get it to you until next week. It sounds like you're basically paying an extra $10 to wait for them to build more units.

Yeah thats basically what I figured. I'll be happy as long as all of their other issues people have reported are dealt with. Shouldn't the evo be here by sunday if it ships on friday via two day shipping?

You can combust over 2:40 or so. 3 is great with a Quartz nail.

I think they ship via 2-day business which should mean Tuesday delivery if mailed Friday. Usually Saturday delivery is an expensive additional option and I don't think UPS even delivers on Sunday.

When they shipped my replacement hydratube they claimed it was sent via "express two-day" but it still took 7 days to arrive. Hope you get yours faster than that.
