Underdog Log Vapes

The silicone tubes fit inside a 14mm female, but having a ground glass adapter just makes it easy to attach and achieve an airtight seal.

Wohoo :) 100 pages log in the fog !
GH just cut a silicon ring off the stem and put it over the stem so it becomes double . This fits 18 mm :)

Ok cool, I will try to see the difference.

Also I would like to have some advices for a water filtration system.

I want something conveniant and small.

I found this bubbler but I am not sure I can connect some silicon tubing to it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=xLG-WYHpCZY

or this: http://www.head-shop.de/06487.html

Otherwise I found this which looks more like its compatible: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=151WTy8Mhmg

what do you think?

Yay, nice find dude!

I'll order one right away and let you know, hopefully before the end of this week, lol

That happens to be my fav bongshop btw, can't believe I missed that little pipe myself.

To bad it has a carb hole but we'll just have to plug that up I guess.

edit: I was rambling on about the one in the first link you posted btw, just to clarify.

Not sure what your budget is, but you might like these as well:

8 arm bub

cheap stemline bub

Thanks Gonzo! But it looks like there is finally a hammer style bub available in Europe ^^, so I'll give that one a go first. Kinda hard to pass up on for just 17 euro's. This one has a mouthpiece of just over 6" so it should be in between the two you mention. Keep those pics coming though plz ;)

Congrats on the 100 pages Dave! Lets ad another 0 to that aye ;)

Good idea to ship the Dogs without adapters to 220V countries btw, seems the simplest solution for now. Perhaps you can also offer 220V customers the car adapter instead of the discount if they want to get their own inverter?

Thanks OTA! That's a good idea about the car adapter and I'd be fine with that if that's what someone wanted to do. Speaking of car adapters did you ever unscrew the tip of your and see if the fuse is blown?

Yeah, it was just the fuse luckily. I keep forgetting to pick up a replacement though, I'll put that on my to do list for tomorrow right away.

Just a glass headsup there.

1st off thats not a stemline, thats what is called an INline, which is a lot more common.

Secondly, black leaf is a china import brand. Its better than the worst ones but its still what it is. Tree percs, inlines, and other fancier percolation styles coming imported from china often have pretty restrictive drag and tend to be a lot more fragile. Things snapping off with minor bumps and such.
Chinese inlines are also known for splashing water back, where a properly made one will never, ever do that.

They're still a an affordable price and will function, I just wouldn't whip it out with a lot of people using it if I were you.

+1 Imo black leaf products are crap.. One of my friend had quite a collection from the local heashop.. The straight tube were ok but the percs we really low quality,,

Dave, you can send it back with the UD. That bubbler is made by Silika Glass. I was so impressed with the small one that I picked up one of their larger Sherlock bubblers as well. Here is a link to their bubbler page....

http://silikaus.com/products/bubblers/

The larger one I picked up is BC 47. Really loving both these pieces, I am a fan of showerhead bubblers though. The pictures really do not do them justice. The glass is sturdy and extremely clear. I also think PB 15 is another nice one to pair with the UD.

*Edit* To answer your question Dave, I would recommend the Silika over the Grav Labs. Both are nice but I prefer the showerhead design to the Tree Perc slit design.

Thanks dude. Any idea how much they cost? I can't seem to find prices on the site. I think I'd go with the BC 49 as I like the looks and functionality of something smaller and simpler.

@ everyone - anybody have one of the BC 49 pieces they want to trade me for 2 AquaVapes? Anyone? Anyone?

I thought the same but I recently picked up one of their top models and it's almost flawless. The 10 arm tree is perfectly and evenly cut and the joins look clean. It does compare in cleanliness to my german magic glass and beats my USA made green goddess glass piece. I can only assume that either I was lucky, or that they have upped their game on their upper range models?

But I'm still liking some of the Silika glass. I want the PB 15. Seems they're just a wholesaler? Dave, it seems that the signs in the stars say that you should become a stockist of vaporizer glass :brow:

That ^^, + Muut was looking at Weedstar glass, I don't think he'll mind the BL brand.

Thanks for the correction on the stem type though SD, I'm still a bit of a noob when it comes to all the different types of diffusion out there.

I'm so glad Muut came up with that one Gonzo, I really like the wide flared mouthpiece as well. I hope it gets here soon!

Dave, I got a new fuse, but I measure 16,9V from the car adapter :o

Do you think that's still safe to use? I had my UD on the car adapter for a day or 3 before but it was when my multimeter was lost so I have no way of knowing at what voltage it was operating at that time. I assume it was the same though, I can't imagine that just changed by itself when I blew the fuse, or can it..?

I may have to return my inverter and swap it for another one, I get the same voltage directly from the inverter.

The strange thing is that I was still stuffing my UD under the blankets even with that 17V thing to get it hot enough *scratches back of head*

Hmm, interesting...now how do I measure this to be sure without cutting up the wire-insulation? Or would you happen to know a reliable way to calculate this?

Unfortunately, you can't calculate it. I made up a plug and socket with something like this
ebay
Then you can put the voltmeter's probes onto the screw terminals while it is plugged into the vape.

That does look like a handy little fucker, I hope they sell those locally.

I guess it's back to the electronics store tomorrow, thanks!

Remember that you will also need a socket to plug your power supply into. If you don't like soldering, there is a "matching" socket that has screw terminals also. The wires coming from the socket are then screwed into that plug that I linked to. Otherwise you will need to cut the wires from the power supply and attach them directly to the new plug.

As Hazy pointed out the voltage will drop under load and should be fine. Once dropped it should be in the 12-13.5 range as that is the spec'd output for car systems and that's what you're replicating with the inverter, etc. So yeah I imagine it will be fine.. only one way to find out.. :o ;)

I guess I'll just try it out then, I had it on there without a problem (besides blowing a fuse) for 3 days already earlier so I'm not really worried. Worst thing that can happen is I blow another fuse, right? And I got a bunch of those just to be safe. Looking forward to using the pup again later on, I'm getting a bit tired of torching and my Solo isn't all that satisfying anymore after having used a Dog.

Can't wait to see the new pups, that's been a while :D

Dorkus, I'm glad to hear you successfully snagged that one! I was keeping an eye on that thread in the classifieds and it stayed so quiet in there I thought the seller changed his mind or something. I really hope you like it!

ps: what do you other dog owners use to keep there filled stems upright? Some pictures would be nice if you have anything you'd like to show off. I've tipped over quite a few already, loosing a partly used or even fresh load in the process. I was going to make a small bowl stand out of wood, but then I realized that what I had in mind was still to light to be stable enough so I ordered me some of these (18 as well as 14mm) to see if those will work.

I also like this one, but the price is just ridiculous imo:

Perhaps you could make something like that too Dave, for a slightly more reasonable price hopefully? A round carousel shaped one would be nice too I think.
