If it was a regular Chicago city cop, probably wouldn't have wasted his time......but it was a suburb cop in a quiet area

VisiblyVaped,
I got pulled over by a state trooper for speeding on I-65 in Nashville after work while I was hitting my Woodeez. While changing lanes to pull onto the shoulder, I unplugged the WDZ and threw it and my grinder under my backseat (I drive an SUV) and threw the stem under my seat. Then I pulled out some Acqua di Gio and sprayed it a couple of times through the car (saved my ass). He couldn't see my arm because my backseat sits up kinda high so as long as my head didn't turn, he wouldn't know what I was doing. Anyway, he walks up to my passenger window and does the usual cop routine (license, registration) and asks why I was speeding. I told him it was my birthday and I was on the way home to change and go eat Mexican food and drink some beers. After checking my info, he comes back and informs me that I was driving in the HOV lane and speeding, but tells me since it's my birthday he's just giving me a warning. The whole time I'm waiting on him to mention the smell of bud, but it never happens.

This was the first time I had been pulled over while doing the deed, especially since I started vaping. If I had been smoking a bowl like in the old days I would've been caught for sure. I know it's not that smart to vape while driving, but damn did this thing keep me from getting busted (the cologne helped too). So if any smokers are reading this, buy a portable vape if you must enjoy your herb on the go, it's definitely worth it. I didn't get in trouble and he didn't find my vape!

Nughuffer - smell wise, if youre vaping while driving and get pulled over its sooooo much less prevalent than the burned bud smoke.
I have this like Kush blunt smell permeated in my cars fabric, its time for a shampoo/detail i think...

Yeah I totally agree. I used to drive around blazing bowls like an idiot and never realized how obvious the smell was in my car since I was always around it. I also think the leather seats in my car help a lot since smoke can't stick to it as well as fabric seats.

So many cops will give you beef if they so much as smell anything. Even living in the most weed friendly city of the us, I still have to watch out when I am driving. Usually the rec will take care of everything but if they are in a foul mood who knows.
As for my vape...I always tell them it's an ECig if they ask...it's not like they are gonna toke it

I've never heard of the super T, or most of those.
And they vape dry material like the usual portables?

spot on @weeddemon - I also happen to use e-cigs (instead of regular cigs) and have found various cartridges and things to vape my herb in. Instead of having 2 kinds of vape i just end up needing 1.. just swap out nic cartridge for the herb cart when i want it.
the 510 is the kind that looks like a regular cig
the eGo looks kind of like the v1 omicron pen
the super t and the detonator are both 'mods' that are a bit bulkier and heavier. made in the u.s, take high drain batteries,, etc...

the detonator is the one i use for oils and stuff, it takes a cartridge like the omicron cartridge or the gentlemans oil cartridge.

Either way, live and learn. You may not be the type but turning the other cheek is something you have to learn to do to make it in this world. I sure am not the type either, and learned that the hard way myself.

That's all so true and this was a great post. So much in life is about mastering the art of moving the hell out of the way.

Haha funny story about the cops not showing up when needed. I was driving through the city and passed a car that was also stopped at a green light, rght where 2 lanes merge into one, and they decided to start going right as im passing them almost causing an accident. Then they decided to follow me throughout the city. Im speeding, running red lights and switching lanes back and forth and these people are stll following me with no cops in sight. Get stuck in traffic at a red light and they pulled up next to me in the oncoming traffic lane and start throwing shit at my car to get my attention, finally i zoom off and pull into a gas station on a one way street and the car kept going on the one way street but stopped where it merged back into the main road waiting for me. When i pulled out and turned the other way they started reversing on the one way street. Scariest night of my life finnalyy got away after about 30 minutes of getting chased and trying to get pulled over by a cop whcih i could not get to happen for the life of me

why get out of the car in the first place?

i had a shitty alcohol charge like that in college, i was let off luckily. Hope it works out for you it seems like it should be something theyll dismiss.

I got paid to kill people.
Freaking cops man. The closest I came to being screwed over was being pulled over for speeding while driving through the great, crappy, backwards state of Alabama; I had my Volcano in the backseat sitting under a blanket, and it was in the manufacturers box. I think it looked suspect or something because the cop kept looking back there, but he couldn't do shit because I don't vape in my car and I had no weed (on account of having vaped it all). Hopefully everything works out for you and you can view this later as a life lesson. There is no power or strength in anger; it makes you weak. Being able to keep a cool head when others are losing theirs is the sign of a true boss.

stonedwarman,
Just wanted to update you on my issue. Went to court and they dropped it to a driving without license on person. No points no problems.

I got pulled over in SC about three months ago - I had a car full of electronics which aroused suspicion in an asshole officer who wanted to (a)screw with me cause I am a Yankee living in the south, (b) a Jew on the bible belt, and (c)was so young, he must of just gotten out of the academy so he still had something to prove. He tore my car apart, ticketed me for speeding - argued with me that I had no insurance because I lost my I.D. Card. I showed him online (via my cell)that my policy was in fact in effect and the prick took my plates and forced me into a tow truck in the middle of nowhere after completely ripping my car to pieces looking for anything to get cuffs on me. Once he left, the tow truck driver asked for 350 cash and he would gladly give me temporary plates and drop my car at the GA border to get me back on my way to my new home in Florida. Seems like a rough day to most...

The stupid redneck bastard never looked in my sunglass visor where he would have found a 1/2 zipper of California's finest! Nor did he check under the Plasma TV in my trunk where he could have seen a box containing 20+ vaporizers! My new motto - POT BRINGS GOOD LUCK!!! Nevermind 4 leaf clovers - I''ll stay with the sticky icky! :D

Glad to hear things went your way VapeNStone ,

Here's one for ya ;
Back in 2003 , the Stones held a SARS benefit concert in Toronto .
Great concert , backing up on the list were AC/DC , Guess Who , among others .
Me and my best bud from high-school went and acted like teenagers one more time :)
It was an exceptionally hot day , and people looked for shaded areas anywhere they could ,
to get some relief from the sun . Being that it was an outdoor concert on basically a soccer field .
The only shades we could find were between the food vender's caravans of cooking trucks .
The truck's back side , biz. conducted on the front side .We went back there to roll a few and
blaze one too .

While we were rolling and blazing , 2 cops came up to us from who knows where . ( we were stoned )
Long story short ,
We just told them we were out to have a good time and re-live some youth one last time . ( not true )
They made us dump out the weed and step on it hard into the ground/grass so no one can retrieve it .
They let us go and even said to us to enjoy the concert .
Which was cool , because I was rolling my buddy's stash :)
I held the big stash on me .
They never frisked us , I'm guessing because , we were polite and adults .
And plus it's Toronto and it was a SARS benefit concert .
Our city got hit pretty bad during that episode , so every $ raised/spent was well needed .
And that included Munchies and refreshments too .

The Stones Rock !
50 years and counting ....Just like me :)

yesterday I went down to the city to meet up with this girl I have been seeing, and on my way down i saw 4 seperate occasions of cops on the roads. then on the way home I went though a ride program. so that was 6 cops in total... I wonder if we have too many? lol sorry if any of you are law enforecement, but i am a good person and police put me on edge! :(

my experience with the police. they are there to harass, tax and slow you down. Anytime I have legitimately called the cops for fear of my own safety i get the "until such and such happens we can't do shit" spiel.
