I think SF is on to something for producing stronger hits. Just took a hit, fresh batts fresh 1/2 bowl, no preheat time. Now that I am respecting the power of this thing I am getting better results. It took a little too long with no warmup to get that tickle in my throat so a second or 2 of warmup is going to be necessary, but I stuck it out, nice long even hit, and shut off and cooled the device for a few seconds before ceasing suction. On exhale a nice cloud indeed and an evenly browned bowl as well. So what I am saying is that once I get the hang of it I may be able to properly vape larger bowls like SF does.

I am starting to feel very comfortable that this little monkey is going to be able to use this device effectively.

Good to hear, i have had mine a while now and i feel like i've gotten my technique down pretty well at this point, for tastier lower temp first hits i use about a 5 second warm up still but my beginning draw speed will be faster than usual, once i feel the vapor start to warm up i will let off the button for a couple seconds and continue to pulse it through the remainder of the draw, i can get some very tasty vapor on the first couple hits using this technique.
If im lm looking for a bigger cloud/higher temp hit i tend to start with a 7 to 10 second warm up and begin my draws with a slow sip and store technique, once this is producing a fairly thick vapor i go to a steady quicker draw for the remainder of the hit and usually get a big ol choker of a cloud this way,

SF, thrilled you are enjoying your ThermoVape and it sounds like you have it pretty well dialed. Love that you have a good pulse technique!

so who will be the first to hook this thing up to a tube...? :uhoh:

We are building a medical device grade accessory for just that purpose. We are also building a attachment that goes on in place of the mouthpiece and will directly engage your glassware.

The postman just delivered my thermovape. I am looking forward to testing it out this evening. I'll give some first impressions and then after I have gotten the hang of using it, I'll do a comparative review versus my long term go-to vaporizer, the Magic Flight Launch Box.

Is there an ETA on the tube? Length? Pricing?

We work constantly as fast as we can. first comes the Revolution (and it is coming SOON!:D), then the glass adapter.

Common tubing fits onto the mouthpiece already. Someone posted early in this thread about it. I think it was OF. He mentioned the size tubing he used as well.

Cheers,

ThermoVape.

For real!!!

I can't wait to see the gong connector TV is coming up with.

I honestly might be more excited about that than the Rev. OK, equally excited. And if I can connect my Revolution to my glass...that's a must have.

O man...revolution hits thru my future hydratube :ko:

B.,
mines hitting quite hard tonight. Think I finally got my technique now. SLOW draws people and make sure this baby is hot and you can basically puff the thing

I did get some decent size hits off a tube, and they did leave my coughing, but it never really milked the tube up white. I will try and get a video up for you tomorrow.

Hey, no problem, your good friends here can help you out. Just give us your address and tell us where your stash is, we can do that testing for you! The batteries come charged you know, we can probably have results for you by lunch time, before afternoon tea for sure.

No need to provide your MFLB for the testing, we can bring our own to sample your stash in.

If you get home in time, we can give you a report first hand. Otherwise, you can read it here when you get the time? No need to thank us, of course, we're sure you'd do the same for us if you weren't so busy with that job......

Teamwork, you know, that's what made America great.

That's all well and good. However, if you are in the US you'd be hard pressed to get home to sample my stash before I would after work. I'm a 10+ hour flight to US west coast. :D

Just read this whole thread (I never do that anymore!) and this vape has me intrigued. It seems like the best way to sum it up is the TV is a MFLB with more power and no conduction. I guess the batts provide a bigger punch. I have the MFLB and the PA. I rarely use the MFLB with batts since I like thicker hits. And I don't use the PA much since it is easier just to keep my PD on all day. Nowadays when I go outside to vape it is usually the VG, which can give nice, thick hits. I'm gonna keep my eye on this one, as I would really like a portable that I can quickly go outside with and get a good, strong hit from.

OK, yeah, sure you got me there all right....so why not go ahead and give out with the information then? "Put your money (or in this case your vape and stash) where your mouth is".

You weren't paying attention to the teamwork part, were you? It's a small world, we have ways........

Over here they say 'you might outrun the cops, but not their radios'. We got this here internet, social networking, cell phones all that stuff. It's not just for Jihad anymore you know.

I really think this is worth a serious look to you. A couple of times I've said I consider it an electrically heated VG, not some hot rod MFLB. Like with the VG, you can get hot as you want, even get sloppy and combust. I think in the 'set up the ultimate (single) hit and vape it to the max' mode it really shines. A fine grind (if you can deal with the dust) and partial bowl will do you proud. There's a lot of power on tap for a few hits at least, and in a lot of cases that's exactly the ticket IMO.

Thanks OF. It was actually your VG comment that got me the most interested, since I tend to portable vape with that one the most. The learning curves don't scare me since I have used a VG and a MFLB for a while. If nothing else, this vape has gotten me off my desire for a Solo. This would suit my needs better for getting a quick outside hit without much fuss. I will say, however, that I don't want to be an early adopter. My guess is that in a year this model might be improved, if there is much room for it. I'll probably need to unload my MFLB and a couple of IO's so as not to get into too much trouble with the honey.

So...After about a week of the ThermoVape...I've regressed back to the MLFB yesterday.

I tried 1,000,000 different ways - load size/dryness/breathing techniques etc.

I just can't get much satisfaction out of it. Every time I use it, I feel frustrated that I am not doing something right, so I kept trying, and kept trying different things.

The ThermoVape doesn't seem to get me where I want to go. However the MFLB does the job right. It probably has to do with the fact the MFLB makes me cough up a lung, and I can hit much more, and see more clouds, without reloading battery - or vaporables.

One thing that seems odd is - when I inhale - it seems to be drawing in air from the sides somewhere - making me think I didn't screw it together right. But I've done that a ton of times. The weird sound of air seeping in from the sides makes me think somethings not right - but I have a feeling that's how it is supposed to be.

I don't want to be a downer or rain on anyones parade, but this thing doesn't do the job as well as a simple MFLB...I can't figure out what the deal is. I wish it could hold more and produce more.

I really hope the Revolution changes something because now I am considering selling my TV. :(

That's why i got rid of mine. For this thing to really work as a true portable, I'll need at least 20 batteries (10 pairs) and I doubt that's enough to last me a day either... It's also not very efficient, the avb always came out dark green, and having to stir the herb in between every hits TRUELY BLOWS. I definitely won't be a pioneer anymore when it comes to buying new vape... I'm going back to the solo

Now I wonder if this thing has ever been tested before it's released, or merely tested in durability... This is a vape, let's be realistic, few takes their vape to scuba diving, throw it around, or put it in fire... I hate paying $250 to become a beta tester. :2c: :peace:
