Discontinued The Venus Apollo

Andreaerdna

If God is the answer, then the question is wrong
Guys, Mission Apollo is about to start!
Super-fast delivery.. The only downside is, I'm ill and not capable of vaping... so no reports from me pretty much until next week. Can you guys imagine how hard it is to resist this sexy thing... ??! Almost killing me.
But to help you guys getting thru these days until your units arrive, I thought I'd do a @VegNVape vape porn slide show. :D

Here we go.. Anticipation at climax:

After calling her name (still named Apollo) and doing some finger play thru her bubbly dress, she showed me more than a glimpse of her sheer beauty... We ALL want more!!:brow::drool:

A look down the hole... :mental: Well, I undressed her glass tube panties that early -

I turned her down a bit... I had to be strong... Must not use it... Otorhinolaryngologist said no no. IT'S REALLY THAT HARD!!

Ok... I'm totally exhausted right now.. Gotta go get some sleep, hoping to feel better soon and to get company by you guys soon!!
This thing truly is a piece of high art!! It looks and feel stunning, unique, amazing... Ville has created a wonderfully beautiful vape. Can't wait to use it!!!

Love and :peace:

wow, it does looks gorgeous!

I think that if actual screws were remplaced with some thinner or recessed ones, and if the name and the highlights around commands were not it would get even more sexy!

greetings @villekille2 you did a very precious vape, hope vapor production follows but I have good feelings for it.

Edit: from the description on ville website
"No extra chemicals, glues or plastics used"

This is gage of quality and a must in this price range IMO. I do not want to call names but one new wood portable with "disruptive" tecnology is kept together with glue, even if it is out of any path a vape costing more than 250€ have to be glue free at least.

Sounds like I'll have to wait till next week before I get mine since I live in US. How about a new usage video to tide me over? I know everyone is drooling for one anyways...
Just one more :D...

I was so stunned,

I almost...

forgot about

her tattoo..:haw::p

I noticed that too. I added to cart to see and it said out of stock. Also I did the conversion to usd again and I think the price is lower now? Might be related to it being out of stock.

Also those pics are amazing, please someone use this thing and record it. Please? Please thank you?

price is lower because ville negotiated with dhl to get a $6 discount off shipping.

I'll have mine Friday

dhl says i should have mine tommorow, but not sure how accurate that is taking into account customs.

@vapen00b have just one puff and let us know how it is mate, I'm sure it won't kill you :D

If you were wrong, I had no chance of telling you how it was... :D
Maybe I can do a slight one tomorrow. But don't tell anyone! ;)

As Ville sends via DHL express worldwide there will be some lucky ones receiving their units by tomorrow or Friday.. I'm so looking forward to it , for all of us. Hopefully I'll be recovered soon to start the afterburner for takeoff :)

I know it's quite wasteful but you could always load a pinch up and blow through the intake so we can at least see some vapor production.

Yes it produces vapor this way, though you have to remember the Apollo has dual intake for fresh air. The intake is about 50 / 50 between the big hole in the back panel, and the other half comes from the slot on the side, where the herb chamber is located. The hole in back panel is restricted with stainless steel meshes to give approximately this ratio between these two intakes. So blowing at the back does create some vapor but mostly the air will just escape trough the secondary intake.

I am guessing you cannot plug the intake on the side with your hand...

Oh or just grab a random person off the street with the offer of a free bowl if you can video the vaping and ask some reviewer questions afterwards. Regular people reviews, it'll be a big thing (if you don't get arrested, robbed, or murdered).

Seriously though stay healthy, I can wait until Friday.

@vapen00b thanks for the Apollo porn, I could not help but notice that your girl has a pretty significant crack in her ass. Hopefully this can be taken care of, I know from the Dynavap that wood splitting can be an issue. I still look forward to receiving mine, hope you feel better soon!

Beautiful pics Vapen00b! I can't wait to hear usage reports over the next couple of weeks especially with how it might perform through water tools.

I am also really looking forward to seeing the new Helios design and see what upgrades have been made to it with respect to the original Venus.

If these vapes perform well, I predict that Venus Vaporizers will make a significant splash in the global vape market in the future. I hadn't even heard about Venus Vaporizers until a few weeks ago but after seeing the completed Apollo design I honestly think that it is the most attractive portable vape on the market.....in any colour option :)

Agreed. I think we'll see the Venus line making a bit splash in the market if they perform up to what most of us are hoping and expecting. They really seem to combine the best of both worlds in terms of aesthetics and raw power.

I'm really, really looking forward to getting my unit. If I'm lucky, it might get sent out tomorrow, and there would be a chance I could get it on Saturday in that case. If not, I guess maybe next week, but I'll be excited to report on my opinions, as I expect several others to. I will say though that it's probably a bit unlikely to see much usage through glass initially. The Apollo has a weird mouthpiece with a 22mm outer diameter and 18mm inner diameter, so I don't know if there are really any suitable adapters at the moment, but they will almost certainly come pretty soon if the Apollo does what I'm expecting it to in the vape market. And once there are some adapters, I'm sure this thing is going to be able to milk the hell out of any piece any of us have, based off the vacuum cleaner video. I really can't wait.

Thanks man.. not feeling better, so I beg everyone's pardon for being brief now and not going further.

About the "crack".. actually it's only a tiny groove on the surface which is part of the wooden structure along grain. Really nothing to worry about.

Hope someone can chime in for me - maybe someone is receiving one today?

Stay healthy everyone!

I think you are showing us how strong the will can be...I cannot even start to imagine having such beauty around and resisting the urge to put a load in her and see how she handles it...euhm reminder we are talking about a vaporizer inserted here...

Anyway, soon we will see if this machine is a beast. I think I allready know the answer, but still have some popcorn left so I will just lay back and relax...

So i just got the bae! Thanks ville for including a car charger with my package!! Now on to the review
Guys this thing is immaculate and beautiful. The wood is hardy, very thick and durable.(much thicker than firewood) Really great craftsmanship. The screws are actually semi flushed and the battery is easily removed by the circular top. The flavor is amazing and seeing the vaper travel so eloquently up the vapor path is most definitely a cool feature.
Now the best thing about this vape is the ability to customize heat settings, I cannot explain how efficient this is and how amazing, because this is more so now likened to surfing, you can hit the boost button and get a wave of vapor, or you can just swim and relax the vapor on a lower level. 0 Draw resistance. The controls are not as hard as you think. Theres 2 warmup settings, 3 different boost settings (low boost, high boost, medium boost) theres also 10 different levels of heat variation and that is seen in the light intensity of the bulb.
Settings can be played around with thing, you can alternate bowl size with the bowl,(put cap on other side) and also you can put firewood capsules in this thing. It comes with very durable glass, not the fragile kind of stuff that shatters on impact, but the glass that lasts quite some time.

Now i cannot stress this enough, If you are not careful (specifically with your thumb) you mightt get a singe from the chamber(as it is opened and gets quite hot). But if you're outside and it's pretty cool i don't think it'll really effect you as the heat will be dispersed much quicker.
That really is the only gripe i have with this thing

It's not just your run of the mill kind of the vape, it brings a whole lot of innovation to the table. I can see in the near feature people will definitely build upon light heated vapes. This is such a compelling product, just in the fact alone that it's ran by a bulb and a couple of batteries. But let me tell you about the flavor and the extraction of herb that you get out of this thing is phenomenal. I don't have a video yet as of now, just because i want to experiment with it. But i will get one up for you guys soon!

The best part about purchasing this thing was the service i was provided. I know Ville was probably flooded with messages this past week and i know i was that guy flooding his inbox. But ville would write out elaborate messages going into thorough detail about his product and it's abilities. And by long i mean pages man. You can tell that there is a significant amount of determination in his service. you could really see the hard work. and for me i think it pays off. Especially because he didn't go through the conventional funding program that most vape innovators are going off to. He was working on this project for quite some time and he knew when he was going to open up his shop, that he would be ready on the spot to deliver an immaculate product.

To all the people that have one coming their way, you won't be disappointed!

Lovely stuff, thank you. You put my mind at rest about the controls, I read and re-read Ville's posts and I wasn't getting it. Some questions if you'd be so kind!

Are you using the long stem or the short one? That looks long in the pic? How do they compare?

What's the heat up time like?

Is the vapour at all dry/harsh?

Is that a 50w bulb in the pic as well? Have you had a chance to compare with the stock one?

And how does it compare to what you already own?
