A lot of convection too with the vortex action into the heated atomizer. Also I believe that the conduction/convection ratio is affected by how long one lets the herb sit in the bowl before inhaling.

Most vaporizers have thermal equilibium during heat up but, because of the shape of the elb, and heat retention capabilities, the cloud is the only vape that allows a quick vapor release due to the heater staying close to the temperature you set and the strong inhale needed to allow a stable atmospheric equilibium between the cloud and the bong, will lead to a lowered atmospehric pressure in the bowl. The thing is you bring in a lot of air when you do this but for bong smokers who love the adrenaline rush this is perfect.
The sublimator uses a high heat heater that sits above the herb, and restriction in the downstem, to achieve thick clouds since the drop in temperature when you inhale, and the force of the restricted downstem that brings the air and vapor together will condense the vapor quickly. This is why you get so much reclaim quickly. If you love adrenaline rushes the sub will give you a more powerful one then other vapes. There are long term downsides to this but, I don't want to sound like a hater and want everyone to enjoy themselves.

Sunday morning double deckers before work! Can't forget about these bubble rips either! All I need is my sublimator at work and maybe a bed.

I think hunkering down for the winter is going to be a lot more pleasant having the sublimator around! The time should just fly by!! 
We are moving into our rainy season now, which lasts until the end of spring essentially. Almost went camping one last time for the year, glad we dodged that bullet, rain, rain, rain!
This also calls for a morning stacker...what to use... a layer of herb, some dry sift, and some sublimate oil.

to that. i am right there with ya. already miss the sun. pulled out the S.A.D. lamp (double great as a full spectrum light for starts, always had strong clones). 'tween the snow, the sub, and learning guitar, i might just survive with what's left of my sanity. (
)

Tonight will be a double decker night, and I'm gunna test out the UFO for strictly oil hits. I have some sublimate taffy and some solo stem oil and a fresh batch of ISo oil evaping right now. Gunna be a tastey night! Still can't believe the quality of oil comin out of this thing. Perfect amber color and taffy consistency. Yum!

I work from home so I have both in my "office". I can't go at it too much during my shift but sometimes a hit every few hours is nice.
Also introduced the Sub to a few more people last night and they were all impressed as usual. I've yet to meet a fellow stoner who didn't love it which can't be said for most other vapes.

Anyone with a solo, torch out the oil onto some parchment paper, perfect for the sub. Similar to sub oil but has a more burnt taste. UFO is good with just dabbin, nice to throw in a dab here and there but it's almost no point cuz I may as well do a double decker....building up lots of oil tonight!

These diff microns of bubble are making some amazing sublimate very quick.
You can't dab wand hash...that has to be pressed and dropped in the bowl. Dabs are only for oil with as little plant matter as possible.
That all depends on your herb, but I would say you should start seeing oil form after about 7-10 grams if it's good quality. May even be less, if it's really sticky stuff.
