Thanks for the update. Sorry you were sick, hope you're better soon. Of course I know you only ship once a week (and I ordered the day after) so I was prepared for a delay anyway. I was just afraid it got lost in the "cloud" (I'm a person who gets rained on a lot ;)). All the best, sorry if my earlier post was a trifle direct but squeaky wheel and all that...

Totally understandable. I have been busy writing the 2017 plan and accompanying action list but believe in the next week or so I will be caught up and on top of the customer service. Thanks to all for their patience. The 2017 plan is now published on the www for those that are interested. There are also several candid post in the Zion thread that explain some of the recent RBT back story.

Works good with bubble hash

Really good! Bubble hash is not a regular occurance near me and to be frank I've had a kind of a PiTA vaping it. I figured what better way to harness the heat? Awesome!

I'm getting good hang of it direct. Still a bit harsh but I can hang :) I actually really dig using my WPA as a shorty the taper to 14 makes it easier on my throat. But I dig short stem too a lot.

I found this cool too. I had a mate over the other day and showed him the Mi and I quote "this thing has some awesome steampunk look going on" and I know that was mentioned earlier so it was cool/impressive to me that a guy (my friend) who basically doesn't vape and is ignorant to a lot of this that that "vision" was so easily seen from his eyes. And I also dig the form factor. I know new units with have a built in Guitar Pick mod but other than the lack of protection I like the swinging brass door

@HellsWindStaff "I like the swinging brass door" - funny, but it sorta/kinda reminds me of the old standby Zippo lighters, with their distinctive style of snapping open and shut. I've caught myself flipping the lid around with a bit too much enthusiasm on occasion...

How are you vaping bubble? I've been filling the screen up about 1/3 with herb, and topping that to the brim with dry sift. I hold it upside down during preheat, and take one draw. The load has shrunk down to about 1/2, and is kinda like a sorta fluffy block of hash-like stuff. I've been doing this for the past few days and enjoying it far too much... ;)

Through a WPA and have it pressed in a flat disc. Slow draw, heater but to down whole time. I stir the disc up after a few hits

Does anybody know what the ship time is from the RBT store? The description says 2-6 weeks but I would assume that if the unit is in stock it would ship out much quicker than that.

@muunch N @btka the code should come at checkout.

Well first the copper needed to be refinished and then today my printer that is only a few months old is having printing issues... but I did wade through emails today. In years past my limited time was spent on the back end of the business building technology, engineering, manufacturing and quality functions. 2017 will mark a a shift in the focus to the front end of the business with customer service, sales and marketing taking a more time.

My apologies if I missed anyone. Please hit me up by email or by phone for immediate response.

Same. I paid anyway and will see if I can pony up the difference and just grab a Zion pre-order if he's still taking em.

I'm nervous I won't have the chance to get one with all the uncertainty he's been speaking of, but I hope I helped a bit with grabbing the beautiful butternut Milaana. :)

Thanks again man. I didn't think I'd be this excited to get a duplicate of something I already own.

Which part? If you're going to wipe the inside of the glass, hold it upside-down. I would use very little and also let it sit for a bit and then do a slight burn off to ensure it's all gone before vaping with it again.

I wouldn't let iso drop on the screen though.

For the body, don't use iso or water.

Sand it with a very high grain sandpaper and rub it with beeswax. Underbutter from Underdog, or Ed's TNT BombAssButter would likely be preferable. I use underbutter just bc I have it. I haven't had to sand mine yet and don't really think it needs it but idk.

For the female glass, yeah just be very very light with the iso and definitely hold it upside down and make sure it's all gone before you use it again. Not sure how it'd get dirty enough to warrant cleaning though.

Which one? I probably would just send it back to RBT if you're thinking you need to replace it... He commented that others had spent lots of money and time trying to DIY fix stuff and just ended sending it back.

    Ya that's the air intake

Do not attempt to remove the screen on the unit. It's not meant to come out. You won't get it out without damaging it and likely the heater as well.

The smaller screen is the air intake.

I find if you blow out your herb while it's still warm, there won't be much caked-up residue in there.

If there does happen to be some still, just take a hit (or a few) with no material in there. Works great for units with drop-in stems, like the Milaana and log vapes. You may even be able to get some decent vapor from the residue that's accumulated in there.
