@flotntoke Ya beat me to it my friend!:D

Here are the DIY links for mating the STOCK RBT STEMS to water for easy reference so you don't have to search the whole thread to find them!;)

@subway13029 I previously posted 2 easy ways to adapt the STOCK RBT STEMS to your water pipes.

1- This mod requires only 1" (or less) of silicone and fits any 18mm female water pipe.

This mod is very nice because you already have a water pipe adapter on your stock RBT stem and do not need to carry any extra pieces with you to enjoy your Milaana dry or through water at a moments notice.

2- This is a silicone piece found at a hardware store for $2.00 and will fit a 10, 14, or 18mm female water pipe. It seals perfectly to the stock RBT stem.

No updates from RBT on my order. Makes me think I should have waited and ordered from PV instead.

In other news, my FC-UFO arrived today. Within 5 seconds of taking out of the box I knew I got a bad unit:

See the slit in the middle and how it has a flaw and it's gigantic compared to the others? When I pull, air goes only through that one slit and no the others. I have to pull very hard to get the others to peculate. Pretty disappointing... Has anyone dealt with Stevenlmz79's cs before?

Yeah, i felt the same way when i saw the post from planet vape saying they were now available for shipping.

However, I have to remind myself that i got it for around half the price on the early pre order, so waiting is the price i pay...rather than the price, ha ha. Also, I may not have actually bought one at full retail given the exchange rate and international shipping costs etc.

Secondly, it seems to be that i am particularly unlucky on the shipping. RBT shipped it over 3 weeks ago now, so it's out of their hands (kind of).

Finally, as frustrating as it is for me every day i visit an empty mailbox, i understand they are running a business so they gotta get 'em out there.
Edit- so waiting for all the pre orders to arrive before starting retail wouldn't make sense.

Have there been any attempts to make wooden stems for the RBT vapes? I'd suspect doing a log vape style wong taper is a no-go because it puts the wood too close to the heater, but With a metal bushing to connect to the glass/hold the bowl I imagine a wooden stem could be really elegant in this thing.

I did a bowl right when I started a DBZ episode and got 3 huge clouds from it. After the episode (about 15 mins later) I checked if the heater held any retaining heat by blowing into the intake.
There was clearly a good amount of heat blowing out the female.
In other words, your Milaana is capable of retaining heat for 15+ minutes. Pretty impressive!
Not as impressive as Goku's Spirit Bomb is about to be. Ape Vegeta ain't got shit!

Hey there man, for sure - full wooden stems are absolutely fine to mate with RBT heaters - no metal bushing required . . . I guess you never saw my post in the Zion thread? . . . . here's a couple of the pics, which I think are stunning thanks to RBT's magnificent, (and to me, already) iconic vaporizer, and @Ed's TnT's wonderfully loving and skilled craftsmanship on that beautifully matching maple wood stem . . .

I know it's WonG . . .
. . . But it feels oh so right!

:)

And if you would like to see a bit more, there are a few other (imo, almost pornographic) shots and initial impressions in my original post here . . . .

Didn't even consider getting a wood mouthpiece @VegNVape thanks for the link and idea for the Milaana. Did you ask ed to make that personally for you or is it standard from his sight? How much was it shipped? I worry constantly about dropping the glass stems, I have two granted but if one goes I'm glints be even more panicky, would have to wrap the whole house in bubble wrap just to hope nothing else snaps or breaks.

Thanks to whoever hour after that post got the payment request.
Can't wait to join the milaana party.
Seems like some vapes might be moving to chopping block.
Still no word back from RBT about those $129 milaanas on my end.

Edit: heard back. Got the invoice. Now I just gotta think about pulling the trigger on #2. Oh boy.

There was a $129 Milaana deal? Damn. I just paid 204 with shipping from PlanetVape.

Edit: Paid extra for "Xpress" shipping, should hopefully get it Wednesday/Thursday.

Hmmm mine was $169; $186 after shipping. I'm not sure what its status is since I haven't received anyhting but the paypal confirmation.

I ordered on the May 11th. I just got an email saying that it will take 3-4 weeks for shipping due to process improvements and added quality checks. So I guess I might get it at the end of June or in the first or second week of July.

I guess I would've gotten faster shipping if I had waited to order on Planetvape. So all the final pre-orders got caught in their transition process. They must be focusing on Planet vape to get those orders out now.

On the bright side we got a lifetime warranty now, and it'll probably be better quality when it gets sent out. I really look forward to getting the Milaana when it's ready.

4 episodes later and that spirit bomb still hasn't gone off, I shit you not.

Who's he fighting? I recall in either the freiza or cell saga aired the first time I like didn't hang out with people to watch the show thinking the shit was going to go down this week!! Those spirit bombs take a long ass time.

Glued my female fitting in place after scoring it a bit with a file. Got it on clamps now! I'm going fishing!!!

The maple zion stems we have were prototypes for few of us to test a while ago, I also tested a blackwood male to male WonG for a Milaana stem from Ed (posted photos of both in this thread somewhere). Another member got an exotic one made and paid though he doesn't have a vape for it yet... Maybe you can try when Ed gets back to custom orders again but he is pretty swamped lately. I will also say so far they just haven't worked as well as the glass stems in my experience, for various reasons I've posted here previously, but there are still useful and I know Ed did make one that matched the glass ID and OD so that would be the best bet imo. No need for a metal bushing, that'd probably conduct way too much I think, not good in the glass bowl I'd imagine... however it is technically possible to scorch the wood but unlikely probably.

Also lifetime warranty should apply to PlanetVape too btw, and I believe he actually put his wholesale order in prior to a lot of the later pre orders, so it makes sense he'd get his first. Nice to know that there continue to be rolling improvements to QC fit and finish though for those waiting at least.
