HAvent tried + thats next on my list, but the PG + is hard to find around these parts! I hear its tastier like you said added terpenes and a little more potent!

    From tetra labs website

"PureGold Classic is a pale yellow viscous liquid. We occassionally produce variations, such as PureGold Plus, which contains more flavinoids than PureGold Classic. Flavinoids are anti-oxidants and also pigments, which gives PureGold Plus its deep amber color. Other than addition of flavinoids, PureGold Plus is identical to PureGold Classic. Both have identical effects although tasters report that Plus is slightly more flavorful.
PureGold is generally heated and inhaled in pure form. One drop can last a long time if properly smoked."

Doubtful more potent. if its identical itd be no different except flavinoids. which is natural canna flavinoids and nothing more.

Hard out there??? Think of it here..... on the opposite end...

You can always order direct from Tetralabs if you live in CA or WA. However, the plus isnt on their order form... oddly enough. But sure if you ask they will help you get it.

    Hi G
Well that looks awsome! Just woundering if you could do a video using shatter or a solid wax, since it seems that's what most people can afford to use or make. Also if there is no wick and they seem pretty tuff will we be able to boil them clean or is it designed as one time use? No leaks thats great what about clogs? With the waxes from the clubs I run into clogs more than leakes.
Keep up the great work G!

I sorry, but what is the big deal with PG? IMO it is overpriced junk! From a company who dosen't give a dam about your well being or your health just your wallet! So what is it this week 75%,85% or my favorite the Holy Grail 95% pur THC!!
Come on guys give us a break! Do you really think poeple would be sucking down grams at a time and walking around if it where truly 95% THC!
I vaped a gram @$60 w/Dubc and had to pull out some wax to get medicated
Sorry for the rant, Just my :2c:

Edit: Sorry, we only vaped half of the PG, didn't like it so changed to wax!

It definitely is a little over priced, but it does medicate me very well and with minimal amounts!!! I hear what your saying for sure!!!!!:leaf:wow i havent built up to that kinda tolerance, but i can see how quickly that can happen with this stuff!!!!!

I do prefer some really amazing Paris OG or Larry OG BUdder Flavor wise!!!!!:mmmm:

I do agree that a cart that can handle thicker waxer or even budders is essential, i can get dank budder for $30 a Gram , and PG goes for $60 a gram at its lowest!!!

I bet that the wax will last you four times as long as the PG at half the price!
In Hercules I think .3 PG was like 3 rips, so 6 rips $30.
To be honest they were massive hits! But still 6 rips $30!:horse:

Most companies are in it for $$$. If they werent they wouldnt be in BUSINESS. Its definitely not the claimed percents, BUT... In comparison how many places/companies/dispensaries/manufacturers have that much in depth information. If anything its clean. No byproduct bs kind of stuff. Thats all. Some users dont need high volume thc or cbd content to have it "work".

Another side note, how many places abide the california law of concentrates? (not from there so it may have changed) Last was known was you cant use any chemical solvent to "concentrate" your material. I.e. butane, iso, whatever. So they use an FDA approved solvent type stuff and different concentration processes. This may be correct or incorrect. Not sure, not from CA.

You pay more for the process and cleanliness. Which if thats how it is, thats fine here. G uses it too. If thats worth something.

Its all preference. And only gas chromatography can tell.

Consistency wise (knowing that when you put in one .5 tube) you can always get the same result. That was an issue here. From one concentrate to the next there was too much variance. a hit of one .5 of one type would be little, and another strain would be too much. The gold holds a consistent tale you can rely on. Thats the reason its rep'd here.

    Again, preference.

Guys i use Gold because its the most finicky for my cartridge design. It is the only one that has eluded me from being leak proof.

Plus i told the guys at Tetralabs i can make a leak proof cart that also has no silica rope, and i keep my promises.

On that note i do not favor one from the other. I can make something cleaner but it does get expensive. Just because i use it does not mean its the best, it does give me a clear head but does nothing to me anymore, so much testing that i can go through a cartridge and still stand up right. Remember its not about the THC % there also other cannabinoids that further increase the effects of THC and allow your body to increase the intake of THC. They work together like no other. That is why i have found oils with lower THC to put me on my ass yet oils with higher THC do nothing, combine this with the complexity of a human body and the different influences internally two people can react differently on the same batch of the same oil.

Ok im done with the educational talk i dunno if im right or wrong as i dont have a high school education but i do know thats what i think.

Please say it ain't so? Insights and opinions based on objective first hand experience is the gold standard for 'outside the box' advances. By all means keep up with what you're doing, it's working big time. You're making unique, useful products for a free market that 'votes with it's wallet'. In the capitalist world you sink or swim on the hard reality of results. You're winning, keep at 'em!

Through history the useful breakthroughs seem to come from rebels outside the normal mold. Guys who aren't starting 'locked into' the failed or maxed out thinking of others. The big advances come from guys too ignorant to know that can't do it as often as not. Someone forgot to tell the bumble bee he can't fly.

You do the work, we get the benefit. I for one really like that. Thanks.

Love the Persei, but I have to settle on being disappointed with the Herc (for now, I hope the usability improves soon). I gave it a quarter zip of oil between the first and second Hercs before settling on that position of disappointment. The hits from this thing are wonderful but the waste is absurd. The base that the ceramic rod butts down to has got to be sealed somehow. I have 1 tiny bubble that makes cleaning goddamn impossible and reminds me of how much oil I'm throwing away by using the Herc. :( The rod does not wobble in my current Herc but the base still leaks. This seems to be most noticeable after cleaning with iso, and rinsing with hot h20 quickly. After letting the base dry for a few hours, I dry fire it for 30 seconds at a time ~10 times or until it stops producing vapor. The vapor I am referring to is coming from the boiling oil/alch/h20 under the base, sure enough when I look down the Herc with a flash light, there is my little bubble burping away, and 100% undoing my cleaning.

I'm back to twin carts and my bender for a while. I don't want to return the Herc entirely but I need to know if there is a fix in mind for this base leak. Teflon or no teflon upgrade parts I cannot continue to use the Herc with the ceramic rod base leaking as both of mine have.

Organic can you weigh out the base heater by itself?

Take apart the Herc and then just weigh out the heater section with no bottom insulator or any other part out. Only way to know if its leaking if weight is off from empties I have here.

I don't have a scale here that is graduated beyond 0.1. My vision is pretty bad but I can clearly see these bubbles and their effects (such as a freshly cleaned cylinder, rod and base, becoming sticky and gross before loading the first tank, but after watching 50 bubbles of oil surface, pop and burn off while dry firing. The Herc hits better than any cart I own, but I see bubbles...and I just can't get past that.

I'm out of my element here, but maybe a ring of something like this would work:

"Aremco’s high temperature ceramic adhesives are unique inorganic formulations for bonding and sealing ceramics, metals, quartz, graphites, textiles, and composite materials used in design, process and maintenance applications to 3200 °F. These advanced materials, which exhibit high thermal and electrical resistance, enable engineers to solve problems that were previously impossible using conventional epoxies and other organic-based products."

How do you wieght out your .3 if your scale won't do 1/10ths, or are you saying it will weight.1 but not .01?
I have found that overfilling, even a little bit will cause the tank to overflow from the top it seems, running down the sides and puddeling in the heater core at the base. As this collects and if you hold your Persei at a angle when hitting you will pull oil though the air holes to the outside.
Try loading smaller loads and priming it with a lighter (melt it into mess plate) then see if you are still getting the biuld up at the base. It may not be a 100% fix BUT if there's no excessive oil down there it can't leak, and be wasted!
    Give it a try.:science:

...I have scales, just none that go to a 1/100th decimal place and I don't consider 1/10g accuracy to be sufficient for measuring this issue. FWIW I eyeball loads because it is pretty easy to visually divide something by 10 when you break open a gram. I feel like i've tried everything from too small to too large, but my Herc is back in front of me and I'll see the bottom of this .5 that is also in front of me in the next half hour; emphasis on small loads. When I saw G in person he indicated that filling about 40% of the open space in a tank represents his suggested 0.3 load size. I feel if anything my loads have been smaller than that already.

Oh, and my top ring literally just started to free spin...so ya...bbl
