The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

I go where the thrills are
I don't think anyone can even come close to Randy's prices. However, I just purchased both a Mighty and Crafty from PIU and both appear to be older stock. Doesn't concern me, but for those that really want the latest most recent should just buy from S&B. This confuses me a little though because Randy was out of stock, and it was a fresh shipment. However perhaps he gets them from a distributor and not S&B direct?
.

I bought my first Mighty from Randy. It was a 12xxx, a 2015, but not a newer one...older housing, one minute shut off etc. When I asked him about it he said the same thing...he sells so many, so quickly, he wasn't sure how he'd moved a slightly older model. He offered to refund my money, or give me an additional discount if I wanted to keep it. I opted for the latter and netted a new Mighty for 295.

Worth every damn penny. :) I bought my newer one from another vendor when Randy was out of stock and got a Black Friday deal for 320.

Deep discounts, indeed.

I wish I'd of done that, as I had basically the exact same scenario, just wrote off getting the older model as buying 3rd party and didn't think to ask. Lucky you!

Randy's a great guy!

Did you confirm this? I thought that was one thing that WAS required - proof of purchase/invoice from an authorized retailer?
Definitely, I purchased a Crafty from craigslist for $100 (:rip: fucking pigs!) When it needed to get serviced, due to broken housing. I called and they just ASKED for the date I purchased it. The invoice they send with the replacement unit shows the date that you got it back from them...you guys do the math.

They may however change this policy...
We all know this is a 'boomerang vape' and i imagine not too profitable for S&B to service units at such a high rate...even with the steep price tag.

I don't remember if it was the Mighty or Crafty thread this was discussed. There seems to be inconsistent info coming from S&B on this, but it seems that replacement units do NOT extend the warranty.
When is S&B EVER consistent?

Deep discounts, indeed.
Indeed...that was a discount of chance? think I could get it today? If so I got the card waiting!

Are there any coupon codes for Storz and Bickel? I see an area to put one in during checkout. I am ready to buy a volcano classic to compliment my Mighty!

I don't know of any, but why don't you call Puffitup and ask if their coupon code will work ( to buy from them, not S&B direct)? Those guys are great!

He is a great guy. Yes, I'm from the "whining Jew" school of consumerism. I'm a polite wheel, but a squeaky one. (In all seriousness, I didn't ask him for anything, just let him know that SB confirmed the "new" unit I received wasn't really the "newest". Randy was a stand-up guy and gave me two excellent choices. And I'll tell ya right now....anyone getting a 12xxx-or similar SN for under 300 bucks...that's a serious bargain.)

Indeed...that was a discount of chance? think I could get it today? If so I got the card waiting!

Yep, just a confluence of events, a great vendor, and a whiny customer. That Venn Diagram overlap is a powerful thing.

A nice thought, my vinn diagrams normally consist of stolen merchandise and opportune moments (hence a Crafty for 100 and two pax2 ' s for under 300)
Seems the craigslist Creek hasn't been having the same flow lately.

The holidays ARE approaching so hopefully the slew of non smokers who just got a device to try it and find out they didn't like it, will all be posting shortly!

You should be okay as long as it's authentic.

Storz and bickel has one of the most headache free warranty process (aside from the battery charges). They don't require a reciept/proof of purchase and once you get a warranty replacement, the REPLACEMENT has a two year warranty from the date you got it.

The broken vibration thing isn't that big of a deal, but I will say that it does come in handy...you'll see once you get super ripped and you realize you keep hitting it with the unit off (happens) it's like a friendly reminder to hit it or pass it.

Definitely authentic, bought from vapefiend and the dude included the receipt.

Seriously though I would prefer not to have vibration, I'd also like to make the screen a little less bright.

It's amazing though, of all the vapes this thing has really stepped it up.

Just checked out that site but they are out of stock on the volcano classic.
Don't rely on the site. I suggest you call them (if you haven't already). If they are truly out, they can tell you when they are expecting more. It may just be one day difference.

Just get a little clear tinted sticker and place it over the display.

I wanted to do it many times...but I'm just lazy, so I use my hand.

Sound like your golden though. Enjoy!

That is not correct. Someone stated that this was the case last week but since then multiple people including myself have had it confirmed in writing that the warranty does not reset. The original purchase date of the unit is the start of the 2 year warranty period. It doesn't matter how many warranty replacements you receive that date will always stay the same.

I'd post my email from them here but we are not allowed to do it.

vapeworld is a trustworthy place to buy from. They are one of the authorized storz and bickel dealers and they give you some extras.

P.S.
Im not connected to vapeworld, I have just had pleasant experiences with them compared to vapornation or gotvape.

They confirmed me to me also the warranty does not reset if you recieve a new unit, It is 2 years from the date of purchase. They also said to me there are no plans for a new Mightys and no plans for a battery pack for it.

Bah do i want or need a battery pack, Or be disgraceful and buy a cheap Crafty? I reckon this could be the next scenario, Backup portable.

I did see Mighty & Crafty with 25% off for Black Friday. They listed at the same price as S&B but somehow there was 25% off. They are a big site too the problems are they never answer and the last time i dealed with them for a Cvault they billed me 4 times for one order and never said sorry...

I think they caught on though both vapes got a price hike for the extended 25% off Christmas sales now to make them still work out the same price as S&B with 25% off. Maybe peeps snagged a Crafty or three at 25% off hehe.

I got broken finns around the base and the cooling unit doesnt sit as sturdy as it did anymore so is this enough for warranty replace my unit? I've been burning my fingers because it is 'open' to touch the oven and it might leak air..

Unless they changed their policy....yes.

Sucks to see they closed that loophole...it seems to be a sign (to me) that they are having more returns than expected and had to shift policies to minimize loss. If I still had the crafty I could confirm it WAS the case with that unit. But the cool thing is you can still verbally give them the purchase date without reciept confirmation. Unless that gets exploited and closed...maybe is should just be quiet lol

What issues did you have Vapornation? We found out recently that they offer a lifetime warranty for an extra $50 but no one has purchased from them.

This is from their lifetime warrany...wonder exactly what this means :

The extended lifetime warranty will only apply to defects that are covered under the original warranty policy provided by the manufacturer.

Hope it covers batterys, keep it out of kayaks!

And this too:

Terms & Conditions: We reserve the right to change/update these terms and conditions at any time.

If it were randy, I'd feel the safe

I don't have battery problems yet but the broken finns so I'm guessing I should send the vaporizer in before I get battery problems and therefore have to prolly pay for new batteries but if I would send it before they appear I would prolly get whole new unit anyways for free..?
Another thing I remember seeing here is that S&B can send you some free shipping sticker for you to use to send ur product in for repair?

S and b sent me a return lable for my defectivr mighty and i sent it in last week with 2 day shipping and its been 8 days still no reaponse from s and b. Tracking shows they recieved it 4 days ago..when i emailed them they said i would get an email within 5 to 7 days of them recieving it??this sicks cuz i didnt think i would be without my mighty this long and still havent even got word from them. So this is gonna be minimum 2 week turnaroumd if not more. Which is a bummer mainly because my first return warranty i just went thru randy at puffitup and total it was 6 days from me sending mine in to recieving my replacement. But this time i went thru s and b so i can get the newef style charger and c/u because at the time of my first return randy didnt have accesories to send out..only the unit. So i guess i shoulda just went with randy this time too. But i guess i got lil greedy..lol

You're doing fine, they just don't over-communicate, to put it mildly. "still get no response" and "havent even got a word from them" sound a little impatient.
Your 8 day count is hard to read. 2 days shipping and they've had it for 4, that's 6 (and 2 of the 4 days they've 'done nothing' were the weekend).
The next thing will be an email saying either, 1. we've shipped you a package, or 2. here's your invoice/estimate for repair.
Either way, it's more likely you'll get the latest ver. from S&B than any retailer.
btw, did you happen across the RMA form described below?

Not to you, @subway13029, but on the topic of warranty, again,
I just looked at the FAQ page on S&B site and some of it looks different (?). I think there used to be wording to allow that if you don't have a receipt of purchase, you may indicate date and place of purchase. Now there's a link to a RMA form, which asks for that, plus the price paid! as a required field! Toward the bottom of the FAQ page, after all the device descriptions and charts;

Sorry, decided not to quote or link, possible copyright issues, but there's a request for service form on the site!

I don't see anything on the site that would illuminate the 'resetting warranty' question. I see some have had direct communications with S&B, in different countries and with differing anecdotes reported here.

My inquiry, in US, yielded an email that clearly specified the exact date my two year warranty term began. It was the day S&B received back for service my first Crafty (it had failed within about two months of purchase, which was direct from S&B America). This date has not and will not reset. Apologies for being repetitive, but there seems to be a circular nature to this thread anyway. The Ground Hog Day Thread!
