Me too! But I can't cool it with water using the glass stem (my personal favorite.)

I'm so happy I went in today and saw it! This is exactly the piece that I wanted. Perfect for concentrates and a piece of cake to milk with the box.

It's a nice piece! I like it because it is simple. :)

I haven't received any word back from magic flight. They have stopped replying to my emails, maybe they did get too big. I just really miss my magic flight. I may have to order another vape, any suggestions?

Hmmmm.... Not sure why you guys are having problems. I made my initial contact for a warranty on 12/23. They got back to me right after the holiday. I followed the instructions on the email that was sent and than got my new box on 1/9.

Still gotta rip out the screen of the old one and take Picts for them but it seems like all is well over there. I believe another member just got a new warranty box recently too.

Perhaps check all your inboxes and try again??

I've never had a problem with them contacting me. Have you tried their customer service phone number? I posted their number a couple pages back in this thread.

    vape some fruity tea!

I love these things. I've had one for about half a year and have loved it, much more practical and enjoyable than the Iolite I was using previously. I was vaping a lot of crystals and lost the brush, so ended up blocking the screen too much when carelessly trying to clear the screen of sticky resin with my fingers but the staff are great and I am having the unit replaced under the lifetime warrenty.
It was my fault that the box got blocked, but they still have no problem replacing the piece.
Not the strongest flavour I've got from a vapouriser, but once you've used it enough to cover the wood taste you get surprisingly good flavour, i definitely never feel let down. A lot of the beauty lies in the feel of the product, it's so nice to hold and puff on. Near instant vapour, and it cools down quick enough to be able to load a bowl and slowly draw on it over and hour without burning the herbs when not in use (one annoying thing about the Iolite was that once they're hot, they're hot, so you have to always finish the bowl quickly when sometimes you might wish not to). Once you get used to using the box the effects are pretty strong, and you can use higher capacity batteries for a slightly hotter hit and longer if you like, but during summer months here I was using the supplied batteries on a warm day and getting good vapour and long battery life. Obviously in colder conditions it takes more power to heat up.
    Brillian, no complaints at all.
These are the best of any small, portable vapouriser you can get for the money and superior to many of higher value. My Launch Box will always be by my side.

Maybe I will try some tea to practice; even though I feel like an old pro from reading this thread. Are there any teas I should avoid?
Sweet, no need for tea anymore ;) but thanks for the tip. Also not sure why I quoted you twice, oh well.

I posted a video of it working with a small water piece. BigDaddyVapor has a nice sized tube that he milks with it.

In the video description I mention using RezBlock. It just happened to match the slyme dome!

I, for one, did call and email. Thank you Vicki for the phone number you posted. However, I'm still waiting to hear back. Just looked at my cell phone and I placed the call to MF on January 9th. The email I sent was on December 31st. Obviously I didn't expect to hear anything over the holiday but I feel I've allowed plenty of time for a response.

I'm not looking for sympathy or anything. I'm not really even looking to gripe to you guys. But when I saw that someone else was having trouble getting a response from MF, I felt I should post. Perhaps I'm looking to commiserate....I don't know.

    Thanks for listening.

I don't blame you for being concerned at all. Have you tried to call them more than once? I find that if I am a bug in someone's ear, they can't ignore me. ;)

you caught me in the right mood for experimenting. just vaped a trench of a herbal tea blend for the sake of science. :) it contained curled mint, sweet bramble leafs, peppermint, rooibos, ginger, nettle, lemongrass, cinnamon, elderflower and ginseng. the taste was actually sweet and pleasing to the taste buds. i remember trying out my girlfriend's herbal cigarettes as she was about to quit smoking a couple of years ago. they smelled and tasted like shit, so i'm quite pleased vaping herbs other than mj is not such a bad experience after all. now loading a trench of the real stuff, i'm still amazed about the boxes efficiency in terms of the size of the load.

When you e-mailed your warranty claim to MF .
Did you get an auto-reply immediately , confirming your e-mail ?
    also ,
Have you checked your Spam box ?
That's where my first response from MF went to .
Don't know why it did that , but it did .

I know this is probably a q that gets asked all the time, but I've poked through a few pages of this thread and not seen any mention so I figure I'll just ask.

I bought my box in spring of 2012 and it has been amazing. I use it daily. Over the last month or so I notice that even with the batteries fully charged, the light in the vape glows strong at first but gradually fades to an almost non-existent orange (takes about 10-15 seconds to get to that point). It still vapes alright, but I feel like it used to produce a lot more 'smoke' (or whatever we refer to visible exhaled vapor as).

So I guess my question is does this mean my batteries need replacing? Or does this mean the light in my box is dying (I read that eventually happens)? I just don't wanna spring for new batteries only to find the issue continuing.

    Thanks!

Ahh ok, thank you. Yes it's a little upsetting.. I've found the only way I can get a decent hit is to stand where the charger is and use each battery for about 5-8 seconds each (in rapid succession). Bleh. Too bad the power adapter isn't on Amazon. I got tons of Amazon credit this xmas and would love for it to go to go MFLB.

I'm on the verge of getting new batteries but would like to know of some recommendations other than the stock ones? Something that'll give me a good strong hit.

I wish I would have at the time, but... you should pick up a nice charger, at the same time. One with the ability to Refresh the cells. I brought a pair of Kodak batteries back to life and they're working exceptionally well (don't use them for the box).

This is the one I just picked up. I love it. Maha/PowerEx make similar (nicer) chargers... but they cost twice as much.

I just grabbed a cheapo pair of replacement batteries off amazon but I do really want the adapter eventually. I just hate the idea of being tethered with a cord.

I hope you grabbed the $14-$15 PowerEx/Maha 2400 - 2700? Well, there's others... but those are kind of proven.

A 'cheap pair of batteries off Amazon' is probably a mistake. MFLB is actually a very demanding load for the poor little guys. You should probably stick to the proven types if you want good service.

Good luck. I agree, it sounds like you need to replace your batteries, they do get weak.
