The backend also contains the heat dial, which is (correct me if I'm wrong) a potentiometer for voltage... Meaning a lot of current IS handled by the backed. The ONLY reason that the back-end will get hot is because of connection issue. There is absolutely no other reason. There is no circuits there just the switch components. And if that is the case I cannot see why GHL cannot solve this issue.
If you push on the part that supposedly makes contact with the battery nothing happens. If there were a spring there, wouldn't it go back a bit? Maybe they started putting springs now but mine sure as hell does not has a spring.
The original question that everyone is answering was regarding battery contact.
Unfortunately I do not have a GH to look at myself.
- Can someone tell me if the backend has a spring or floating connector that connects to the battery?
When did you get yours? I push on mine and...nope...nothing.Mine most definitely has a spring behind the contact. It is totally obvious when you push hard on it.
I'm not going to bother with a picture because it is inside of the backend where you can't see it.
And I'm not going to make a video, cause why the fuck would I?
(Edit- just like the post before me is talking about. And to be clear, it's not part of the clicker mechanism, it is the batter contact itself)
Ok, got it.The original question that everyone is answering was regarding battery contact.

You need to push harderWhen did you get yours? I push on mine and...nope...nothing.
Not to derail the thread but I couldn't let this go.....A log would be closer to the Hopper they can be left on 24/7, If your set on bag vapes don't forget the Super surfer. The bag vapes have limited use if your into the freshest vapors, And the Super is the only top shelf bag vape that can also do whips.
If you were to pack around a .1-.15 could you toss the GH on a lower temp and get a solid 10 rips out of it with average vapor and not just flavor alone?
This. Like an elbow adapter. That would rock for catching some reclaim before it gets into the CU too!@Ratchett If you do make a Crafty CU/GH adaptor, would you consider making it so that it orients the CU more vertically... So that the CU and GH are parallel rather than perpendicular? I think that'd be more comfortable.
It's a shame Hopper Labs can't come up with a similar CU design and incorporate it directly into their mouthpiece. It really does work well.
If you guys are after a portable session vape (e.g. Finish in one sitting), I can't recommend the crafty/Mighty enough. Honestly my favourite vapes right now. Powerful, efficient and super smooth Vapor.
If you don't need the small size, go with the mighty.
I don't bother with any of my other vapes these days...
But when the GH comes that will be a different story lol.
What kind of phone do you use? I tried my iPad and Lumia 950 ... Neither responded to the hopper topper.Don't know if it's been said: you can use the clicker as a smartphone stylus. That GH is so surprising.
what does it mean 'smartphone stylus'? i don't use smartphones so i don't know. i talk trough special phone so the police can't track my weed activities.Don't know if it's been said: you can use the clicker as a smartphone stylus. That GH is so surprising.
what GH feature? i still don't get it. i know that Crafty got app inside, but GH?Smartphones are touch sensitive. You can't use them with gloves. That's what cool with that GH feature.

the silicon works excellent the with the smartphone screen!! I'm sure that you figured it out when you needed your phone with gloves on and the GH as well??The body of the GH has an unintended feature that it can be used to control a touchscreen, like a finger.
